We encountered an amazing weather day at Mt Cook. Guided by Shaun from Altitude Tours and then delivered to the Mt Cook Airport where we were handed over to our pilot Isabel who was a great host and pilot. She gave just the right amount of quality commentary and even guided the plane left and right to give everyone first class views to Mt Cook. Exceptional!

Glenorchy Air was incredible and helped create a magical trip in south NZ. We loved the Milford Sound trip over the Fiords on our way back to Queenstown. And we also used them to fly To/From Mt Cook. the Glaciers were incredible to see up close and from high above. Would recommend flying for sure. They also helped navigate weather cancellation and rebooking. Michael and James were friendly and informative at the right times. We enjoyed and learned something!

Wow! What an amazing experience!! Joseph "Perky" was our pilot for the day! We had an amazing flight on a beautiful day to Mt. Cook. The views were spectacular and only made better with Perky's constant conversation and info along the way. We did the Glacier Explorer's tour so once on the ground, we were transported to the Hermitage where we joined a group for the glacier boat ride. That experience was also fantastic! Then back to the Hermitage where Perky was waiting to take us on another amazing flight back to Queenstown. This is a must do when in the area!

I’ve done a scenic flight with Glenorchy Air to Mount Cook and combined it with heli hike on the glacier. This has certainly been a highlight of my trip. Having done several flights in both south and north island, I will certainly say that this one is by far the most spectacular! Very good service overall, timely pickup, proactive call with confirmation of the flight, nice aircraft etc. Special shout-out to Joseph, our pilot. Skilled professional, gave us a very smooth flight experience, great commentary on the way and been super service minded to accommodate all pick-up and drop-off for heli, hiking, coffee etc. to fit the preferences of the guests. And certainly ran an extra mile to give us the best angles and view points of glaciers, mountain tops, lakes while navigating. Thank you so much for the lovely day! 🤗

10/10 , we flew back from milford sounds after the cruise to queenstown, absolutely incredible views from the plane as others have said. Big shout out to our pilot Jim, great guy awesome sense of humor. Highly recommend to jump on one of their planes.

Our planned trip to Milford Sound was cancelled due to a poor weather forecast but the company offered an alternative flight over Frank Josef and Tasman glaciers and to Mt Cook. We stopped at Mt Cook airport and had time to explore the visitors centre. Marvellous experience and Michale the pilot was amazing

The flights we took with Glenorchy were the highlight of our 4 week holiday! We were due to do a bus-cruise-fly tour around New Year's, and despite it being sunny, it ended up being too windy and over the crosswind limits of the Glenorchy aircraft we were due to fly back on, so it flight was cancelled and we had to travel back to Queenstown by bus. I emailed Glenorchy, and they let me know there was space on a flight a couple of days later which we were able to take. In fact, we got to fly from Queenstown to Milford Sound with just the two of us and the pilot, and then fly back, getting twice the flight experience we had originally booked. The staff were very quick to respond to emails and very helpful in keeping us informed. The flights themselves were amazing, particularly the leg from Queenstown to Milford Sound, flying close to the glacier-capped mountains. An unforgettable experience!

Great, scenic, narrated flight with pilot Meagan. Bus tour around quaint Oban + on island roads with Noah was very good & Informative. Boat & nature walk to Ulva to sample flora & fauna was also very well done & guided. Picnic lunch was excellent, but a little rushed.

This was such an amazing day out. Loved being on a 9 seater plane with only 7 passengers. Even on a full flight, everyone has a window seat. The flight itself was stunning - the views over the mountains, lakes and rivers were breathtaking. Stewart Island itself was beautiful and I can see why it is becoming ever more popular. The boat trip to Ulva Island and the gentle hike once there was another highlight. The guide, Natasha, was amazing. Her passion for the nature and especially bird life was infectious. Excellent value for money and a true must do!

We took the Glenorchy Air tour from Milford Sound to Queenstown. The process at Milford Sound for organizing visitors taking flights back to Queenstown was a bit chaotic and disorganized. Despite this, we were glad we chose this option. The aerial views of Milford Sound, its waterfalls, and the surrounding mountains were absolutely mesmerizing. Plus, saving three hours on the bus ride was a huge bonus.

We decided last minute to fly rather than coach back to Queenstown from Milford Sound. What a great decision! It was a beautiful day and our pilot, Connor was a total professional - calm, cool, reassuring and confident. Having seen the mountains from the road and boat, it was breathtaking to see them so close up from above. Connor gave us amazing views of the landscape, lakes and glacier, with great commentary and a super smooth landing. Thanks Connor - a truly memorable trip.

Experienced the most beautiful overhead flight to Milford! Even on a slightly cloudy day the views were amazing. Isabel our pilot was great, smooth flying, fantastic landing and had great facts to share along the way! 10/10 would do again, amazing holiday activity.

Isabel our pilot was a wonderful pilot and guide on our flight to and from Mt Cook. We had time to do the Kea walk have lunch and look at the museum in the time we were at Mt Cook.

Isabel was an amazing lady ! I sat in the co-pilot’s seat - probably something to do with weight distribution as I am not a lightweight! We had wanted to go to Milford sound but the weather had other ideas so we did a flight over the glacier and saw some fantastic scenery including an ”unknown” lake in the mountains. Stunningly beautiful as was the entire experience! Thank you x
