          ‘Remarkable’ Queenstown Wine Tour
Angus picked us up on time, and from the moment of meeting he was friendly, informative and really knew about wines, he also had a great sense of humour and was chatting throughout the day! The wineries were good, the first being Kinross, a lovely set up and great wines to start us off well. At Kinross we selected our food, which tbh was a let down, my mother and I both had the venison which was super tough and chewy, I would advise choosing the lamb, or any of the other options! If they had given us sharp knives to cut the meat it would’ve helped. Next on the tour was Mt Rosa, again lovely and welcoming and great wines, on this occasion I brought a bottle, the Rose, which was particularly good. The final winery was Gibbston, this has a cave. The person giving the tour seemed irked that we had arrived a little late, we found her to be quite abrupt and unfriendly, it seemed like we were an inconvenience. She spoke very fast and rushed us through the tour of the cave, we didn’t feel encouraged to buy any bottles of wine, I believe no-one did within our group at this vineyard. Overall the day was great, the people who were also on our tour (bus) were a friendly bunch all with exciting travel stories. Angus is a credit to your company and we highly recommend him as a tour guide.

          Very nice trip
We had a great time, enjoying nice wines, interesting information concerning the region and the history of wine making. Food was very tasty and our tour guide eloquent and funny. Great experience!

          Great birthday gift!
The tour was absolutely great. Pur guide was so nice and funny. All the wines we tasted were great. Lunch is not included, but it was worth every cent. They also have vegan options. I booked this tour as a birthday gift for my girlfriend and arranged for a birthday cake in advance. They made a delicious chocolate cake (for an additional fee). Andrew is really helpful if you have questions or wishes in advance. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended.

          A fabulous day out
Thank You Andrew and Ed for accomodating us - we stuffed up our wine tour and had the wrong day but Andrew was so understanding and got us on an alternate tour. It was a great day and Ed was a fabulous host. We highly recommend QT Wine Trails - fun, organised, friendly and knowledgeable.

          Great afternoon experience!
Great way to experience several different vineyards in Queenstown. Andrew (our host and owner) was great! Super friendly and knowledgable. One of the things that added do much value to this experience was the flexibility it provided. If was as if you had your own private tour, as you could easily stay a one vineyard longer or shorter before opting on where to go next. Andrew shuttled people around where they wanted to go. The vineyards are each unique, from small to large operations. An added benefit was that the weather was incredible during our mid-November visit.

Not good value in $ or time.
At $NZ370+80+drinks.for a couple ( including a platter lunch at the first winery), not great value. The first stop wine tasting was good with a professionally delivered tasting. The lunch venue at the same winery was very nice but the platter for two was basic. Only 3 small pieces of cheese & a small cold meat selection, in addition to nuts, toast, 2 dips, grapes & dry bikkies. We were rushed through to get back on the bus. Should have been 30mins longer. The second wine tasting at the next winery was very basic. The tour would benefit from dropping this stage & adding the time to lunch. The third winery was well done & interesting, with the tasting inside the original barrel cave. Would I recommend it…Unfortunately no, for nearly $NZ500.

The wine tour was remarkable! From the commentary about the surroundings while driving, to the knowledge about wine and the winery’s we visited. Andrew was a spectacular host and it felt like he was a friend on the tour more than a guide. Would highly recommend!

          Wonderful wine tour
Andrew was awesome! He picked us up on time near our hotel. We enjoyed his commentary while doing to the wineries. We visited 3 different wineries and had excellent wines especially at Mount Rosa and Kinross. The lunch was delicious but a little light at Kinross. We would have liked some crackers and cheese in between wineries! The last winery was interesting and we went into a wine cave at Gibson Valley A very enjoyable day!

          A must do in Queenstown
Wonderful tour taking us to three wineries. Pick up and drop off at hotel was an added extra. Tour guide - Angus - was very knowledgeable about wine and the region and was very personable. Tour group was small which is our preference, lunch was lovely and wine tasting pours were generous.

A beautiful experience with fun and friendly people
My sister, my 21-year-old son, and I had one of the best days ever on this tour! A wine-tasting tour has long been on my bucket list, and I'm so glad I made this happen in New Zealand! We entered our air b-n-b location for a pickup spot, and the van picked us up right across the street- so easy! The scenery backdrop at the wineries was breathtaking; the tastings were elegant and informative but also casual and fun! The lunch we were served with wine pairings was absolutely delicious. I bought a bottle of rosé at one of the wineries and left it in the van (which I knew I would!)- our driver and tour guide, Ed, SHOWED UP AT OUR DOOR about an hour later with our bottle! This level of service and kindness blew us away! Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

          Bannockburns Finest full day trip
We had the greatest day out with Andrew! Yes it is a little further to go, and the day is a little longer but it is so worth it for the views, the wines, and the lunch! Adrew was super flexible and explained how everything worked and set up the lunch timing for us, he took care of everything, and we just lapped up what central had to offer, we particualrly loved Mt Difficulty and Carrick was awesome too - nice spot for pizza with a view! The pinots were world class, and so was our driver. Cheers Andrew for the best day - if you've got the time and the extra dough, do this one.

Ten couples who had never met set off in a minibus driven by Angus. Rather than a silent short trip to the vineyards Angus entertained us with tales and stories about wine, New Zealand, and himself. Clearly a person who knows his wines and the area, so it made for a great journey.
At each vineyard we had tastings led by the staff and tried some truly excellent wines. At Kinross lunch was served, the sharing platter being the most popular, with a wine chosen to match the dish.

An unhurried afternoon with great wines and a tour group that got more and more chatty as the wines were tasted!

What a fabulous experience. Ed, our driver and wine connoisseur picked us up in a very comfortable minibus from our hotel, exactly on time. He then drove into Queenstown to pick up the other guests and we were on our way. Ed has an in depth knowledge of the region and its wines. His commentary was informative and interesting, never boring. We had three wine experiences, Kinross winery, Mont Rosa and Gibbotson including visiting a wine cave. Each winery was introduced and we tasted different wines, grape varieties. It was fun and each winery host was captivating in their enthusiasm for their wines. A paired wine lunch was served - little tapas style plates of fresh foods to accompany the wines at the Kinross Winery. I have a bit of a problem with mobility and Ed was very sensitive to that, including taking a chair into the cave so that I could experience the whole tour. Other guests were a mix of ages and nationalities. It was a fun experience. Thank you to Ed for making it such a speciak tour.

What an amazing experience with Andrew as our driver and tour guide. He was great from start to finish, explaining the region, wine history and discussed each winery. Mount Rosa had excellent whites and a mulled wine. Kinross also had great whites and rose. We had a gourmet style lunch there which wasn’t quite enough food. Then to Gibbston Valley for a great Pinot Noir. They had a wine cave. The only suggestion I would have was to eat lunch earlier and have some crackers and cheese.

We will pass your kind words on to Andrew & we are thrilled you enjoyed the wineries (the mulled wine at Mt Rosa is 'world famous' in Central Otago - We love it too!) Thank you for your feedback about your portion sizes too, we will follow up with that. An absolutely wonderful experience with Lance - what a delight. Knowledgeable, approachable and the friendliest person you’ve ever met! We helicoptered into Kinross where we met Lance and a knowledgeable sommelier who took us though a tasting, followed by food and wine pairings. We ventured through to Mt Rosa, and along to Gibson Valley to end our tour inside a wine cave. Such a fantastic experience and we highly recommend it to anyone who’s into wine (or just likes drinking it!) and a fun little afternoon! 10/10

We booked this half day wine tour while on our honeymoon and it was excellent. Our tour guide, T, was extremely knowledgable about the Queenstown area and wine region, and was also absolutely hilarious which made the day such a blast! The three wineries we visited had A LOT of tastings - all with almost half glass pours. The lunch and wine pairing was also excellent and we were definitely full afterwards. Considering how much wine we had had by the end of the day - this tour is definitely good value for money. Highly recommend.

A group of friends and I did a wine tour yesterday. We got picked up from our accommodation, taken to three different winery’s, tried copious amounts of wine, cheese and a cute three course lunch with wine paired with the three dishes. Angus, our driver was super knowledgeable about the region. He was a perfect photographer for all of our group photos, he was super patient, nothing was a problem. All of the staff at the different winery’s were amazing, everyone was super funny. Angus then dropped us back at our accommodation. All 7 of us were super happy with the experience, with absolutely nothing bad to say. Thank you to all involved!

We had a wonderful afternoon on this tour. Our driver, Ed, was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about the area and we never felt rushed at any time during the day. The wineries were wonderful. All of the staff at each winery was friendly and welcoming. Needless to say, the wines were incredible. I’m not a Pinot Noir drinker usually, but the Otago Pinot noirs are spectacular. Our paired lunch was delicious.
We were a small group of 7, which meant we were able to interact and get to know each other. There were lots of laughs.
Thank you Ed for a lovely afternoon.

This was my first wine tour, so I can't compare it to others, but it far exceeded by expectations. Our driver was friendly, knowledgeable, accommodating, and entertaining. (Also, worth saying, a nice Mercedes van for the drive, in great condition.) We visited three vineyards east of Queenstown and sampled a total of *19* wines. Given the regions reputation I was wondering if they'd serve us anything but pinor noir, and they did! We got a full range of whites and only a few noirs. I was not surprised, but delighted, that everything we tried was a noticeable step above what I've been finding on grocery shelves. It helped me know *a lot* better what I should be looking for. As a wine-and-food tour, we enjoyed three courses each with its own pairing by a delightful sommelier.

We loved the wine and food sampler tour! It was a perfect length (~5 hours), and not too far from central Queenstown. The food pairings were delicious, and I now am glad that I picked the food sampler tour over the original wine tour. I like how the three wineries/vineyards we visited were each unique. Additionally, the second vineyard carried wines from about 5 different vineyards in the area, so it was as if you were visiting 5 vineyards in one spot.

We got picked up outside the Station Building and set off straight away. Our guide/driver was excellent, very knowledgeable about the area and the wineries. We stopped at 3 wineries, Mt Rosa where we tasted some very nice wine, followed by a tasting lunch with matched wine, lunch was nice, 3 plates 1 of which I don't eat but I was asked on making the reservation if there was any dietary requirements, again as we left at the start so only myself to blame. We then went to Valli followed Gibbston were there was a tasting in their caves. My husband throughly enjoyed the trip which I got time for his birthday.
