      Thrilling
Went to Queenstown for our honeymoon and as was my first time just had to go on the KJet. We booked the combo with the Helicopter trip. Staff were very accomodating when the weather wasnt good enough for the Helicopter and rebooked for the following morning. We were still able to do the Jet Boat right away. Both the helicopter and Kjet was great. The speed and the 360 spins were a highlight. Awesome scenery. Highly Recommended!

      Fun on the water
I was a bit worried that this would be a bit scary for Miss 7, but she couldn’t get enough of it! Bouncing along on the waves, darting up several rivers and amazing scenery, what’s not to like?! Driver was a good chap too, knew lots about the place and drove the boat safely but in a daring way, right on the edge!

My partner and I had come to Queenstown for the first time and contemplated whether to do this or not, very glad we did! Luke was super informative, funny and always checked up on everyone! It was both thrilling and scenic all in one, plus access to photos was awesome too! Thanks KJet team!

An adrenalin rush through fantastic scenery
From 7 to 70Plus year olds our driver Jake raced at speeds over 100kph and regular heart stopping 360 degree spins. For an hour we traversed both deep water rivers and lake then onto a shallow braided river with ever changing courses. Jake provided good commentary and regular checks on the passengers well being. The Kiosk staff were super friendly and totally knowledgeable. The trip photos are free and online after the trip.

Not the adrenaline rush you might expect
We visited Queenstown late 2019 at a time of heavy rainfall. The Shotover jet was closed due to the weather but K Jet was running so we decided to go ahead for the experience. The views are great and the initial 360 turns are good fun! However are a short while the ride becomes all the same and dropped well short of the level of adventure I was expecting. Not much of an adrenaline rush after all. Only the two people in the back corners got wet, despite expecting the entire boat would get drenched. Overall pretty tame but nice for the views and to be out on the water.

      Jet Boating Queenstown
A good price for a short blast up the Shotover- pretty cold at this time of the year - beanie or hood and gloves a must - the handrails are heated. The cold only added to the experience in a positive way; thoroughly enjoyed it and the price was very reasonable- driver was good value. I’d recommend if you are looking for something to do for an hour In Queenstown. Then head off bar for a whiskey to warm up😎

Went with my partner David on a sunny day last week. First, we went down to the time tripper. It was a 15-minute video sbout the origin of Lake Wakatipu. Mind you, the animation was superb you could feel you were there in that point of time. Behind the projection screen was a big aquarium where these big trouts snd an eel were getting crazy during its feeding time. Never seen such big eel up close. After that, off to the boat ride. We were so lucky the lake was peaceful that day, which is kind of rare. Our amazing driver Andy were able to do lots of 360 turns that the kids with us went hyped 😂 - brave kids. Andy also gave us some background about the lake and and kawarau river and checked up on us from time to time. Was really a fun experience.

PS: The toddler who went before us liked the cutie life jacket he had on that he wouldnt want to let go of it😂

Had a great time. Weather was a rough for the trip out due to winds but once on the rivers it was fantastic, the ride was great and the driver was both guide and comedian. All the KJet staff were so friendly and outgoing. Expect to get wet, not too much but you on the water. It is great fun

On Monday 31st August the English lady at the pier was lovely and tried hard to make our trip happen . We booked in 5 people for next day with 85% chance it would still run with just us . On the Tuesday we turned up 15 mins before set time only to be told it’s still not confirmed as no other passengers, and staff said they would contact manager then didn’t actually say how it went !!! We were left standing around- staff really unhelpful. Then told we could try 4pm and they would let us know. We wandered over to the opposition- go orange and they were super helpful and made it happen with just us within 20 mins and really made the kids day.

Did a jet boat trip during a reent trip to QT with 2 x kids aged 10&13 it was definately one of the ighlights of our trip. Everything was well organized & the guide we had Hamish was super friendly very informative and had a good sense of humor, it made all the difference. Kids just loved it , I underestimated how much they would enjoy this type of activity. We got a bit of water spray but not as wet as some of the others on the boat we were at the back so not sure if that waa the reason. The provide you with a raincoat but be prepared to get quite wet. There are a few companies in QT offering jet boat rides ...Kjet was priced reasonably you get to go on 2 rivers it's very handy boarding straight from town. Highly recommended.

My partner and I wanted to end our trip to Queenstown on a high. We were tossing up between the two companies that had jet boating. My dad told me this one was the best and for $99, 1hour experience we thought it was a good deal. We arrived 15 minutes before departure though the organisation was awful. We were moved back and forth between two groups as we were the only couple. We understood they needed to fill boats evenly but we left 15 minutes later than the first group and came back earlier than the first group. It was a little disappointing as we wanted an hour at there and only got 40-45 minutes. We did approach the staff and they explained the issue. They said they didn’t want others on the boat to run late as others had bookings to get too as this experience was to finish at 2pm. We aren’t disappointed about the experience as it was a lot of fun, lots of spins and we appreciate that the driver wanted to get back on time to help the other passengers schedule, but felt it wasn’t worth the $99 we spent. He did cut down on the stops as well, but still felt let down. We hope in future they organise themselves a lot better as they were aware of amount of people booked in for the experience and boats should of been ready to leave at time allocated. We believe it’s an amazing experience and we will recommend our friends/family to do it but will tell them it may not be the 60 minutes advertised.

K Jet takes jet boats to the next level. After 60 years of experience and the first commercial jet boat operation, you're bound to have a good time! The fun begins at the harbor with the lovely ladies preparing you for your journey.

Next, a journey through Lake Wakapitu, Kawarau River and Shotover filled with 360 spins and some history of Queenstown itself! the drivers have plenty of experience and knowledge around the area and are really entertaining.

Catch the excitement of K Jet, you'll not regret it!

Really enjoyed our hour long jet boat ride down the Kawarau and Shotover Rivers. Booking was easy and the girls at the wharf were all super friendly and helpful. Our driver was very funny and made us feel welcome and part of it. They give you a card with a code for free photos at the end, which was a nice touch. We paid $89 each and I think it was reasonable. A fun hour long experience. Thank you KJet team, keep up the good work.

We were a group of 8 and did the jet boating at 3pm on a sunny afternoon. It was brilliant and we loved the 360 turns done but the driver. I think we wanted to do it again. I sat on the end of the boat so got a little wet but since it was so hot dried up pretty quick. We absolutely loved it.
Shout out to the driver that kept checking in with the passengers to make sure we were ok and not feeling sick etc.

Feedback for the staff on the wharf: There were three staff and they could have been more helpful...helping people put lifejackets on, providing update when they were running 10 mins late etc. We did this activity on 31 Jan 2022.

KJet was a great experience. We were initially going to go on a different jet boat company, however Kjet offered a longer trip at a cheaper price. It was great with lots of spins and high speeds. We have been on other jetboats, in Christchurch and Taupo, and this certainly was the longest! The cherry on top was that at the end the photos were provided free - as compared to other activities we did in Queenstown that charged a premium for their photos.

Luke the stud muffin driver of our boat. Was fabulous in his knowledge of the area and went out of his way to ensure all passengers were happy with the number of 360 spins that he provided. Kids loved the experience and the parents did too. Luke was the perfect eye candy for us middle age Mums too. 😂 definitely need a beanie and a scarf as it’s cold.
