Really relaxed and interesting trip. Guide was knowledgeable and entertaining, transport on time. Half day trip included 4 wineries and a champagne place and chocolatier. All high quality. Samples at each place. Would do it again!

The half day tour, which started with a winery lunch, was well organized but never rushed. The tour host, Vic, was fun to be with, helped us with transfers from 'Christchurch to Blenheim' train, and dropped us at our accommodations.

This half day tour did an excellent job choosing small family-owned wineries, pairing it with a delicious lunch, and friendly, knowledgeable servers and guide! We really enjoyed the tour.

Amazing tour. Our guide Bill is very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. Four vineyards and a lovely lunch all helped to make this a memorable day. Thanks Bill we really appreciated your choice of vineyards and the wines were superb

It didn't start well! Kept waiting for 35 mins for the pick up called twice and told a bit delayed. Perhaps they should have called me ?? Anyway taken to the first place not given much info and not much wine. Had to share put a beaker of wine precisely 25ml each! Lunch was available but had to pay extra for that. Next place was better as the owners gave a complete history and we sampled 5 or 6 loveley wines. Our next stop was aborted as running late so went to different cellar. Very good wines. The Driver seemed very knowledgeable but didn't offer much insight as to what we were doing and it seemed a bit ad hoc at times. Another couple were put in a taxi as there pick up didn't arrive. It would have been nice for an apology perhaps and also some detail about where we were going and the itinerary. Things could have been organised better

We had a fabulous day - it was more than ever hoped for! Great communication and we were met by smiling faces who wanted to make sure we were happy. Four stops with amazing wines to try and learn about. The final stop for lunch (at own cost) had great food - the locally sourced platter particularly. Great value and memories to take home forever.

What a great trip, if you go with this group ask for vic, she is an incredible tour guide and a lot of fun. She took us to some great vineyards and a few other stops was an excellent day.

Took to the 1/2 day tour with Rebecca. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw four wineries, including a very nice (but affordable) restaurant at the first winery. This tour was a major highlight of our trip to NZ.

Our friendly driver found us after a small mixup about where we were to wait - no worries, we were on our way soon enough. Bill was a trove of information about the area and its wines. We got to three fascinating wineries and a chocolate factory. Lunch was lovely. Met people from all over the globe. Good fun.

Beaut, relaxing trip with quite a few wines to taste. Great guide and we had a terrific small group on our travels. Lunch stop was delish and wine hosts were great at all stops. Highly recommend and we were even picked up at our B&B out of town...bonus!

What a fabulous day! Marlborough region is beautiful and relaxing, and the wine is delicious. Our guide (Vic) was a wonderful addition to the day, with her professional yet easy going and fun personality. Make sure to ask for her!!

A great experience thank you Bill. St Clairs was the most disappointing for us as we miss- understood that lunch was almost compulsory at at the first stop. We had a late breakfast deliberately as we were wine tasting and decided not to do the additional charge lunch option but then felt like ‘extra’s’ as everyone else including other tour parties were all eating with the wine tasting being part of the meal experience. We did 3 other wineries - all great but unlike other groups didn’t get to visit the chocolate shop.

Our excellent guide Bill brought us to 3 wine tastings and we started with a delicious lunch at St Clair winery. We sampled some great Sauvignon Blanc wines there , followed by a visit to No 1 winery to try some champagne and lastly we tried some delicious Pinot Gris at Gibson ridge winery. Bill was very knowledgeable and a great host. I would highly recommend this tour.

Toni looked after us with 3 winery visits , plenty of time for a relaxed lunch & very generous tastings promptly organised. Great commentary & wonderful views along the way . Lucky to have only a group of 4 , so certainly no complaints - would highly recommend & great value compared to onboard cruise excursions

We had a fantastic day out with Toni and Discovery Wine Tours (formerly Na Clachan Wine Tours). We were picked up from the cruise shuttle drop-off point as expected. First stop was Saint Clair winery for a lovely lunch on their patio. Then we visited four other wineries. At each stop, the winery was expecting us and a table was set aside for the small group. The tastings were handled efficiently and professionally by friendly staff at each winery. We learned a lot about the local wine industry in the Marlborough region from Toni, and she made everyone feel welcome, whether they were wine connoisseurs or newbies. This was really a relaxed and enjoyable day and we were happy to be in Toni's hands for this outing. Van was clean and comfortable, and it was easy to hear Toni's commentary, even for those of us sitting in the very back seat. Highly recommended!
