Check out the vines on this guided half-day bike tour and enjoy some time of your own to explore the magnificent Marlborough wine region. With three guided winery visits you will learn about the history of the region and its wines before venturing off for an afternoon of self-guided exploration armed with a wine map, a warm glow, and some helpful local tips.
What to Expect
If you can't decide between going guided or self guided then what about a tour that does both! Our half and half full day biking wine tour provides you with a guide for the morning but then allows you to go it alone for the afternoon and do a bit of exploring by yourself. Spend the morning on our half day guided biking wine tour. Your knowledgeable and experienced guide will talk to you about the history of the area and the background to growing and producing wine, but the highlight will be the visit to three of our favorite Marlborough wineries to taste some of the best wines of the region.You will visit three wineries in the morning and then you are free to go it alone for the afternoon. Your guide will give you a map and be able to give you some pointers on where to cycle and even better what wines to try based on what you have enjoyed tasting on the morning tour. Enjoy your afternoon cycling the vineyards by yourself and then meet us back at our base at the end of the afternoon and we take you back to your accommodation.
Peddle along flat, easy terrain that is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.  All morning winery tasting fees included.
Free hotel pickup and drop-off from Blenheim and Renwick hotels. Picton pick up is available but incurs a $40 pick up per person charge. Up to 8 people per guided tour.Your guide will plan the route ensuring you bike from winery to winery past stunning vineyards, allowing you to take your time and enjoy the beauty of the Marlborough wine region.
You will learn a little of the 
You do not need to be an experienced cyclist to enjoy this bike tour. The pace is leisurely and the terrain is gentle, ensuring easy riding no matter what your skill level.
We will pick you up from your Blenheim or Renwick accommodation (approx 9.30am) and drop you off (approx 4.30pm) so that you are free to enjoy the day to the full.
Don't worry about the weather. We have some of the highest sunshine hours in New Zealand but if it does rain we will just switch you to a driving wine tour for no additional cost and ensure you still have a full day of fun in the Marlborough wine region.
