Fantastic wine tour. Don was an amazing driver and host. He was knowledgeable about the area and encouraged questions. We started out as 8 strangers in a van and by the end of our tour we were 8 friends having a great time learning about the wonderful wine region of Marlborough NZ. and drinking delicious wines with friendly local hosts. Would highly recommend this tour run by Sound Connection. Sound connection made an epic adjustment for us, in that our ferry was very late arriving into Picton due to an unexpected engine issue. They offered to collect us at the ferry terminal so we could still participate in the tour! They went above and beyond for us and I am very thankful for their Kiwi hospitality!!

Super-Superb-Sensational. Enjoyed the wines, beautiful views with lovely, multi-national new friends. Most of the wines tasted were White-as expected, a few Rose’ and an occasional Red.

On advice from locals we booked a half day wine tour with Sounds Connection. They were on time in a small bus. 4 vineyards were visited, the driver, Stuart gave excellent commentary and was very knowledgeable about the Marlborough regions wines. The tour concluded with a visit to a boutique chocolate factory. I cannot recommend this company enough.

My wife and I did a half day wine tour with a small group from Picton yesterday. It was terrific in every way. Nice van, on time pick up, great wineries and Chris our driver was absolutely fantastic. He made the trip for us. Good driver, very kind, friendly and informative. Highly recommended 👍

Amazing day out - great value for money and great company! Andy was a fab driver and tour guide, he was very knowledgeable and made sure we had a great time at the different vineyards! It was lovely. A half day wine tour which came with around 15 tastings - would recommend!

An absolutely magic day fishing down the Queen Charlotte Sound with skipper Mark, who was super friendly, helpful and has a great sense of humour 😉 Thanks so much for getting us out on a wintry day to give our lads a true Marlborough Sounds fishing experience, complete with us being lucky enough to bring home blue cod for dinner!

Four wineries visited on the tour. A little more detail below. First a big thanks to Andy, our driver and guide. Informative, friendly and living proof that age is just a number. It was great to be on a small group tour (6 of us), as this made the experience more personable and memorable. Each winery offered something different in terms of the taste and experience. We loved the experience at all four, but particularly Johanneshof, as we were the only group at this boutique vineyard. Thanks to co-owner Edel for her insight into the winery and the wines. Great afternoon, thoroughly recommended.

My husband and I enjoyed this half day wine tour with Sounds Connection. Easy to book on-line and good follow up communication. Picked up on time from our accommodation in Picton. Sam, our guide, was friendly and being a local was very knowledgeable about the area and the various vineyards. It was only a small group of 5 so we were able to interact with Sam and each other, which was fun. We visited 4 wineries and the staff were all welcoming and knew their product. Mainly white wines and pinot noir but if you are a red wine drinker, you could adapt, as my husband did. We found it to be good value and a good way to fill in our Sunday afternoon in Picton.

Great winery tour! Tour bus was comfortable and our driver/tour guide Sam was friendly, had a sense of humour and made everyone feel comfortable. Sam was very knowledgeable of the types of wine produced in the region and their production methods. Visited 5 different wineries which were all very good and had a very nice lunch at St Claire. Nice crew of people on the tour and the pace was very comfortable and not rushed. Would recommend!!

Excellent tour to four wineries. Andy was a genial, knowledgeable host. I’d thoroughly recommend this tour as an introduction to the Marlborough Region, as well as the actual wine-tasting.

Absolutely phenomenal experience. David was the best tour guide we had on our entire trip. His energy was absolutely phenomenal and you could tell he loved doing these tours and learning about the wines alongside us. The "hop on hop off" experience is extremely unreliable (cancelled our reservation at 9 PM the night before) so we booked this tour last minute and could not be more pleased. Extremely well organized, knowledgable tour guide, excellent winery choices. They take care of your, and the tastings come with the cost of the tour. Worth every cent!

Great wine tour, our driver Chris was very knowledgeable and took us to some really nice wineries. The half day was plenty to explore 4 different ones.

We really enjoyed our half day wine tour. Our guide Sam was informative and kind. He drove well and told us about the area, the wine, and the wineries we visited. The folks that served the wines at the wineries were friendly and informative too. We visited four wineries and ended up at a chocolate shop. I enjoyed trying the wines and talking to the others on the tour. Additionally, I felt I learned a bit about wine and the Marlborough area.

Great tour. Sam was an awesome guide and we went to some really good wineries. There was a good mix of ages so I would recommend this to everyone.
