What to expect
Meet your guide and small group of no more than 13 people on Queens Wharf in central Wellington in time for a 10am or 1.30pm departure (depending on option selected). After listening to the safety briefing, learn how to operate your electric bike and enjoy time to practice in a safe area before heading out. Once you’re feeling comfortable, saddle up for a fun bike tour of Wellington, and follow your guide along the Wellington Waterfront. Glide along the seafront, passing the lively port and harbor, and the beaches of Oriental Bay. Continue along the Miramar Peninsula and leave the bustle of the city behind as you cycle along the scenic coast. Pause along the way at a local café, where you’ll have chance to enjoy a coffee or purchase sandwiches and cakes (own expense), before looping back towards the city. Finally, climb up to the lookout point of Mt Victoria for an unforgettable view over Wellington, the Miramar Peninsula, and the ocean. Your tour ends around 2pm or 5.30pm back in central Wellington.

Amazing
Dec 2020 • Couples
Our guide was Jimmy - super knowledgeable about Aotearoa’s beautiful history and we had some good laughs along the way. Jimmy was careful to keep a close eye on us at all times to make sure we were close and safe throughout the whole tour. My husband and I couldn’t have found a cooler activity to do on our honeymoon, the views are breathtaking and there are so many of them - you have to try this experience!

Super love our tour
Nov 2019
We had a lovely bike tour around the harbour area. Before our ride, we had a proper orientation on what to expect and how to handle the bikes. Our guides were really nice and patient and explained to us a little about our surroundings and the sights that we passed by. Overall it was a great experience and i enjoyed the tour very much. A 2-4 hours tour on e-bike would cost NZ$65.00.

Highlight of my Wellington visit
Mar 2020 • Solo
I had a very short stay in Wellington (arriving in early morning and leaving on early morning the next day) so I thought the most efficient way to explore would be by E-bike. It turned out to be an excellent decision. Ryan and Audrey took very good care of us, a group of nine, and gave us detailed instructions and introduction of the city history. It was a pleasant and easy ride on a nice day with a break for coffee and light food. We were able to get to the other side of the bay for an amazing view of Wellington which I couldn’t have done without the E-bike. I would recommend this to everyone who want to see the beauty of the city. Thank you.

Put the bike in Turbo mode for the hills
An excellent tour with Ryan and Genevieve. After a quick check-in with Ryan, Genevieve gave a quick explanation of how the electric bikes worked. All of which was easy to understand. So in under 10 minutes we were off and riding. Wellington is apparently the windiest place in the world, but the day we went was exceptional even by Wellington standards. However, the bikes dealt with the conditions perfectly. We started at sea level around the coastline on cycle paths. Genevieve stopped every so often to point out points of interest. We then had a cafe break - complimentary coffee included (but food available at a cost - we recommend the carrot cake!). After that we put the bikes in Turbo mode and headed up Mount Victoria - Ryan joined us for this, so we had a guide at the front and back. The views were stunning from the top and we would never have made it up on a standard bike. We then had a fun decent and eventually made our way back to central Wellington. A great tour and Genevieve made it interesting and fun. Thanks Genevieve and Ryan.

Fantastic Day Riding our electric bikes around Wellington
Jan 2020
Mum and I had a great day riding our electric bikes around Wellington. The group was small (7) which made it so much easier to stay together and not waste time. The bikes were easy to use and made cycling around Wellington fairly effortless. It was a great way to see the city.

Wellington half day electric bike
Jan 2020
We visited Wellington on cruise ship and pre arranged the half day tour as our introduction to the city. A wonderful decision. Communication prior to arriving was prompt and helpful. The outlet was easy to find on arrival. Ryan was an excellent and informative guide and very cognizant of each individuals comfort and safety. Highly recommend if you are looking for a cruise excursion in this beautiful city
