Amazing!!! We are a mum and daughter (age 13) who are not thrill seekers, but wanted to step our of our comfort zone. We had never rafted before. The grade 3 rafting was perfect for us and we had a blast. Our guide, Charlie, was, skilled, friendly and encouraging and we felt very safe.

My family of four, including 2 young boys 6&7, had a wonderful time on the water with Corbin. This was our first time river rafting and Corbin and Charlie did an excellent job of explaining every step of the process in set up, assisting the final outfitting for my kids and of course being great guides on the water. We were fortunate in seeing Whio (4!) and a multitude of wildlife. This was a confidence booster for my kids and I know they're already looking forward to their next time on the water.

Excellent fun! Ethan did a superb job guiding us. The whole team was very professional. They made sure everyone felt safe, but it was really exhilarating, even for those who've rafted before.

Wanted to do something special with the family for my 65th Birthday so booked the Family Float tour. What an incredible experience that was had by all and has certainly been the highlight of our weekend in Taupo. Such a professional run event right from the arrival to the end, all the staff were welcoming and friendly and gave us all a very pleasant and memorable experience. Would highly recommend this adventure.

This trip was amazing! I am absolutely terrified of water and it took a lot in me to do this activity but I am so glad that I did. I felt safe the entire time and knew that I was in good hands with my guides Hec and Craig. Don’t get me wrong though I was scared at multiple times. The trip was so beautiful going through the gorge. It was truly breathtaking. They even gave us a warm drink half way through and a hot tomato soup with some bread at the end. I would recommend this trip even if you are super nervous.

brilliant, just brilliant. the guide, Garth, was superb and great fun and as a senior guide allowed our 11 year old on the grade 3 which she loved as did the rest of us. great value for money too, wonderful views and even a bit of exercise snook in on on holiday. then to top it off when we got back to their new site we had home made soup waiting for us. just superb, do it!!!!

Can’t say enough about our experience! Our family were warmly greeted by the Crew and staff as we arrived promptly to the meeting point. We had an incredible morning rafting at Tongariro we didn’t want it to end! The guides were experienced and made it that more special with their humour. We highly recommend this for anyone, especially with an inquisitive 6 year old the guides were able to keep him entertained. Thanks for an awesome experience, we hope to be back again soon!

What an amazing trip! Turned out my son and I were the only people booked in on the day, very grateful to the team that it all went ahead! We had THE BEST GUIDE!! I’ve learnt so much about volcanic rocks!! and the birdlife on the river!! It’s a beautiful 2+hour journey. It was the first time rafting for my son and me and we loved it! The gear kept us so warm (even after jumping into the river halfway through). Brilliant memories!! We will be back with the rest of the family one day. Absolutely worth doing!

That was one of the best times of my life! The scenery was amazing and the guides were incredible! I really think the guide you have makes a difference in your experience and we had the best guide. What a day, I hope we get to do that again soon!

I had an absolute blast on this tour! I had Maya as my raft guide and she was amazing!!! She was very knowledgeable and professional. Along the way she told many stories about the history of the river and surroundings. The rafting feels very safe and so much fun. Although the water was cold i was given many layers which kept me warm! We also saw lots of blue ducks which was a bonus. Definitely recommend this experience!!!!

I took a group of primary school students for the Family Float. The instructions about how to put on the warm clothing, wet suit and booties was very clear. All the staff were patient and encouraging of the students. Mina, our rafting guide was outstanding with her clear instructions and calm way she got the students to do what they needed to do and she helped us spot whio and shared some interesting facts. This was a great activity from go to whoa!

Wow, what an incredible adventure we had! Our family went for white water rafting and it was a blast. Charlie, our guide, was simply amazing right from the word go. Even my wife, who was a little nervous, felt at ease throughout the trip and ended up loving every bit of it and my 10-year-old son, Well, he was ecstatic right from the first rapids. We were fortunate enough to have the boat all to ourselves and didn't come across any other boats during the 10km adventure. The river was simply perfect for families, with just the right level of rapids to get the adrenaline pumping. Charlie also showed us some unique and vibrant wildlife New Zealand offers. I can't recommend these guys enough! We had a fantastic time. Maybe when my son is 13, we'll return for the grade 3 trip. We even got a video and some great pictures included in the package which was a lovely little extra ( honestly expected to pay for the video ) Fantastic and highly recommend…

What a fantastic family fun experience! Our sons (11 and 13) loved it and so did we! Having never rafted before we had some minor nerves though had been reassured by the glowing reviews - one of which I am now writing! Our guide Stephan was great; chatty and relaxed and clearly skilled, we had some exciting moments but never felt in danger. The river is beautiful and we were heavily wet suited up for the temperature so it was thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommend for your first rafting trip - enough of a rapid to be exciting but not so much that it’s scary. Bonus that all photos taken and the go pro video of the trip is all included!

Amazing experience. Both my children (8 & 14) loved it and wanted to go again immediately. The team made a wonderful and enjoyable environment and any nerves were soon squashed. I cannot recommend this group any more. If you are looking to go rafting as a family or even without kids, this is place to go. The experience is amazing, the river is so clear, (icy for swimming - but you definitely need to hop in at the end!) and something everyone should try when visiting NZ! We will be back on our next trip- thank you guys so much
