    A must-do in Rotorua!
    I went rafting with Rotorua Rafting a year ago and knew that wouldn’t be the last time! I had no experience with rafting at all but the guides there make you feel safe at all times. It was so much fun that I decided to come back this year. Even though it was raining my friend and I had a great time on the river. I think I‘ll come back for a third round next year! 😁

    Absolutely worth a visit!
    Best rafting experience ever! A friend of mine and me did the tour for the second time now and it never gets boring. Even though it was raining we had a very good time. The team was funny and professional and we felt safe all the time. So if you come to Rotorua make sure you check out this raft!

    Amazing … loved every bit of it
    Really amazing experience … nice guides option for my too young daughter to take half of the ride and really cool waterfalls with option to take a smaller one without raft … loved it all. Only be aware this is relatively short especially for the folks cutting off the big fall.

    Best experience ever.
    Loved it, loved it, loved it. The best fun. We were a group of seven. Sam put us all in the one raft. A couple of us weren't so sure about doing it but we all came out with the best experience. I would highly recommend this experience with this company. They were the funniest most friendly people and really made the experience a lot of fun. We would definitely do it again. Thanks Sam you were great. Oh and we all made it without falling off. 😃

    Brilliant fun riding the rapids
    It was one of the best outdoor experiences of our lives. Brilliant location, lots of thrills, fun and adventure. The guides were fun and super knowledgeable. All in all it was a 10/10

    The Kaituna river was closed during my travels due to heavy rainfall and storms, but the team emailed me in advance and offered me the Rangitaiki river instead. It was amazing. Staff were great and I loved every minute.

    Ah it was simply brilliant. Great team of young men with a huge repertoire of experience and expertise between them, and an equal amount of good humour. Had the dunking we were all craving, a bit of relaxing in the river followed by another adrenalin rush and another soaking. Had an amazing time. Thank you

    We went down the river with Sam and It captured true emotion and energy with a genuine love towards what he does! I wanted to go at least 5 more times!! Ka pai to Sam and the river!

    Highlight of NZ!
    Epic white water adventure! The team were clearly complete experts and were so good at putting you at ease. Our lead Lucas was fantastic; calm, friendly and fun! Definitely the best thing we have done in NZ!

Amasing experience. Well run, staff had a great sense of humor engaging everyone in friendly banter.
Captivated we watched as Nathan loosened his helmet, revealing his bountiful locks, he gave a gentle shimmy his hair cascaded over his strong shoulders. Thanks for the memories.

The rapids were outrageous. When I signed up I had no idea what I was getting myself into... including a 7meter drop off a waterfall. However, the guides and the crew were by far the best part of the day. My guide was Mitch and he deserves a raise for how many times he had to pull me out of the water back into the raft 😂. An additional huge shoutout to the Rotorua Rafting Crew for making my experience great even on a super busy day (there was an entire school trip at the same time as myself) but they did a great job of giving me my own attention and VIP treatment so I didn’t feel like I was just another client. Great day, great people, great photos. (100% buy the photos at the end)

Love the whole experience (despite the rain). The scenery was beautiful, the water was crisp and clean, and the air was refreshing.

The staff were amazing, super friendly, and super helpful. Our guide made us feel safe and very comfortable in the water, especially while rafting down the 7 feet waterfall. Not to mention a successful one minute tutorial of how to swim down a mini waterfall!!

There was also no delay in pick up and drop off.

I highly recommend this activity. It is a "must-do" if you in Rotorua (rain or shine).

Had the most fantastic time. One of our party was scared of going under they made her feel really at ease and watched her the whole time. They made sure everyone had a fantastic time. I would definitely go again. Jack our guide was amazing he really made the whole experience worth it.

Highlight of NZ trip!!

This experience was an absolute highlight to our NZ trip!! Couldn't have faulted the staff or the set up, at all. We arrived a little late and the staff were amazing to still get us kitted out and onto the boat in time and didn't make us feel bad at all. The experience was adrenaline fuelled, complete with various styles and heights of drops over waterfalls & rapids, all feeling completely safe under the guide's expertise. The guide managed us as a group perfectly, ensuring we rotated around the boat to each experience being at the front.
I would recommend this rafting trip to anyone and can't wait to do it again one day.
Thank you Rotorua Rafting for your endless professionalism and humour.

Tom Beadle you made a huge impact on our holiday and we cannot thank you enough - 2 weeks later and quarantined due to the virus (we are OK!) memories of you taking us down the river keep us going. Amazing Experience - Must Do

This was one of the most exciting and amazing adventure that I have done. To start with, we visited as a big group of 12 with friends and family including kids ( aged 10-12). The Rotorua Rafting Team did an amazing job organizing the experience. All the big boys completed the grade 5 and kids joined half way for the grade 3 part. Everything was well arranged and safe.

About the actual grade 5 experience, it was amazing. Our guide Jasper also asked to go for a short swim during the rafting. Yes, you can actually jump out of raft and swim with the raft. This was different experience and I will recommend all to do it. The big 7 meter drop was obviously the highlight. Our raft flipped upside down and it made if more interesting. A story to tell proudly now.

All the experience from check in to check out was smooth. The photos turned out great. All the Rotorua Rafting team is professional, funny and very helpful.

I hope you can also see the macho man Sam carrying the big Raft up the hill all by himself. :)

My friends and I went on this trip and has such a blast! Our instructor Mitch was so fun and was great at guiding us along the river. So worth the money. Took about 1.5 hours, 2 with hotel pick up/drop off. Photos at the end cost $30 for all of them, but if you split the cost between everyone in your boat (max 6), it comes down to a few dollars each. Highly recommend for all skill/fitness levels!

So much fun
We had Charl as our guide today and my 11 year old daughter and I loved every minute of the trip (she joined after the grade 5 rapids.)
It's exciting but not too scary, you get wet but the water is warm, it's not as long as other rafting trips but much more thrilling.
There were heaps of people today but it's a well organized team and it was awesome to see the other rafts go over the drops. Highlights were the highest waterfall, the two swimming options, my daughter sitting on the front of the boat and riding back under waterfalls for a facefull of water.
I recommend and I'd definately do this again with this crew! Very friendly, professional and safe.

Warm welcome from the staff at the initial meet and greet of all the would be rafters. We were made to feel relaxed and calm by Jack, even though some would have felt quite apprehensive inside.
Professional, fun and a clear explanation of all the safety measures we needed to follow for our adventure.
Juriy (hope it's spelt right) was our guide, he was excellent through out the whole rafting experience. Gotta say there was never a dull moment on the raft.
I enjoyed this experience with Rotorua rafting more than my first time with another company. So much so i am thinking of getting my work colleagues to come back out with me. Just a SUPERB Team of professionals
