- W3105BQpetera00Highly recommendedFantastic team, Bluebell, Hamish, Amy and Jenna, made our trip exceptional. We benefited from awesome weather and views. The team gave us loads of information about the islands and pointed out all areas of interest. Great trip, recommend it.
- owentU48GT00A must do trip for the Bay of IslandsHad a fantastic time on this half-day tour! The Staff was super professional and casually funny. Very attentive and always just seconds away to help open and close the clear windows if the sea spray or rain was too much. With multiple stops along the way, it was great to see an assortment of islands and the hikes/wildlife. I had forgotten about the snorkeling option on the second island stop and would remind everyone to bring a swimsuit. The boat was super clean and we even got blankets to keep us warm. A reminder that this tour is on the ocean and there were a few rougher spots as some of the islands are more exposed to the ocean but the staff was great at making us feel at ease. To maximize comfort I recomend taking your favorite motion sickness remedies beforehand. The actual hole in the rock is very impressive and we were lucky enough to see a penguin as well as many interesting fish and birds out on the water. I'll recommend this to everyone.
- DARILANCE00Bay Of Island - Hole in the Rock boat tripAwesome boat trip. The boat gets speedy at some points between islands which added to the experience. Stop offs at 2 islands for a chance to walk, explore, and take photos from viewpoints. Good commentary on the boat at certain sites. As the weather was good the boat was able to go through the Hole in the Rock. Well worth the trip. Value for money.
- Explore3527914302400Stunning hole in the rock tourFantastic trip!! Got to see Dolphins, amazing weather!! Well worth the money. Staff on board are helpful, food and drinks can be purchased on board. We were lucky to go on a day that had such perfect weather. The captain was funny, good sense of humour. There was a good amount of time on one of the islands to chill out with food and a beverage. Water was pristine.
- Jeremy G00Top Paihia Boat CruiseExcellent boat tour - operators really engaging and informative - all round great experience and plenty of involvement activities. Highly recommended and many thanks to the crew.
- XXMED00We loved this trip and you will too.A heartfelt thanks to skipper Hamish and crew Tisha (beautiful korero) Bluebell and Nicole and boat Arataki for our incredible day island hopping in the Bay of Islands. From the stunning Motuarohia hilltop views, to not one but two passes through the imposing Hole in the Rock and then relaxing at Otehei Bay. It was all perfect.
- jonpK1367PZ00No dolhins! The trip was pleasant and the island stop-over provided some short hikes and great views. The publicity talks about all the dolphin species that one will spot during the trip: not a single sighting! This was very disappointing as it gives the impression that there will be multiple sightings and it was one of the main reasons for doing the trip.
- Wander1951460028700Lovely trip on the water in the Bay of IslandsSaw lots of wildlife (bottle-nosed dolphins, korora, seals, terns, black backed gulls). This trip has 2 island stops because it can land by the beach, whereas others have only one). Very friendly and helpful locally based team - highly recommend
- I3498WXteresab00GreatThe Crew was very friendly and helpful. They knew a lot and told us lots of interesting stories about the history of bay of Islands. We saw penguins, dolphins and even Orcas! A great experience. If it hat been warmer, i would have loved to snorkel. Definitely worthwhile!
- G2148KSannab00AMAZING!!!Wow amazing!!! We saw orcas and dolphins which were right beside the boat!!! Not only that, when watching the orcas/dolphins we were told interesting information about them from the crew which made it even more special and great. The history of the islands was clear and very interesting too. The crew were so great, cant recommend enough!!
- Q427BQlizt00Fantastic way to spend a morning!Absolutely wonderful morning. Great and helpful crew. I throughly enjoyed my morning. The trip itself was fantastic .. saw lots and visited 2 islands and had an opportunity to walk and explore. Highly recommended
- alexandersR3339BD00Amazing tour in bay of islandsNice Skipper and Crew. Amazing places and views. Totally worth it. I really recommend it. We just decided on short notice to do the trip. Parking for caravans is close by. Trip was really good, and the chocolate on board really delicious. DO THE TOUR! :)
- Sharon P00Bay of Islands, many sites.Exceptional staff, relaxed comfortable boat trip where I didn't feel I was being squashed in.Local company with balanced knowledge and commendation. Local wildlife and sites.Plenty of time where we stopped to look around.
- S5345RVrobv00Awesome, don't miss this tour. The boat tour was awesome, lots to see with great commentary provides. The boat crew were awesome, and we even got to see some Orcas near the hole the rock, which was a great bonus. I highly recommend this as the best way to experience the bay of Islands.
- cassie279200Spectacular crew and views! We had amazing weather for our tour! The staff were the best and so friendly! It’s a locally run business and they share all their knowledge and history of the Bay of Islands. You get to see some incredible views and we were lucky enough to be able to cruise through the Hole in the Rock. Cannot recommend this tour if you want a highlight tour of the Bay of Islands!

Me and my friends did the 3 hour afternoon cruise in January 2020. First, we went to a stunning viewpoint and then to a beautiful beach where we could try stand up paddling or snorkeling. Even though we only had 3 hours in total, the tour didn't feel rushed at all. Linford was an exceptionally good guide - he explained everything in detail and was super friendly! I highly recommend the tour!

Fantastic few hours visiting Motuarohia and Urupukapuka islands on a comfortable boat. Lin and Gaby were very welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. I tried paddle boarding for the first time and felt supported throughout. Great snippets of history, and stunning late afternoon/sunset views all round!

This was a great trip and Jake and Blue made sure that everything was perfect. The boat ride was great and Jake mad sure that the speed we were travelling at was safe and comfortable. When the boat pulled in to shore they had a special ramp that was lowered down so that we did not have to jump off into the water. The morning tea on the beach was nice. It was a tough climb to the top of the mini mountain but well worth it once you made it. Traveled to another island where we had lunch and enjoyed a snorkel and paddle board.

The tour was breathtaking and the team was very nice and helpful. It was also a small group, which I really liked. Everyone had a great view of the islands. The snorkeling and stand up paddling was really great. I have never done stand up paddling before, but the team instructed me well and I was able to enjoy the time on the water to the fullest. Thank you for this great tour.
I can recommend them to everyone.

Really fun cruise. Small group which was really nice. The guides were friendly and helpful. Loved snorkelling and paddle boarding. Only suggestion is to probably have more than 4x paddle boards for a group of 20

Myself and my friend recently went out on the afternoon cruise with Lin and Gaby. Both were very knowledgeable and provided us with a continuous stream of information throughout the trip. We stopped off at 2 islands, enabling us to walk up to amazing viewing points and spend time on quiet coves. Snorkelling equipment and paddle boards were provided for everyone on board to use, so we were never short of something to do. Added bonus of spotting and swimming with a stingray in one of the coves. Highly recommend this trip- great value for money. Thank you both!!

Fab crew, beautiful islands and perfect amount of time. Lin & Eloise as our crew were friendly, fun and helpful sharing stories of the islands and getting us safely to and from two beach landings. Excellent hike up a small hill with amazing views of the islands. Snorkeling and SUP at another island and very calm bay - excellent teaching Eloise! Tips: bring water, snacks, wear bathing suit as no changing areas. Thanks to the team for flexibility in picking us up in Russell and dropping us off in Paihia

Had a great trip with Captain Wayne and Josh. Fabulous time on the water: great trip to an island hike with spectacular views, and on to a small bay with no one else for SUP and snorkeling. Would do this trip again and again. Great value; great crew.

Mate, if you want value for money look no further.
I'm terrible with names, so I've forgotten the name of our skipper. Don't mistake my lack of short term memory for him not being memorable. The bro was amazing, caring, fun, and full of knowledge.
He went out of his way to help my son build a hutt on the beach. Perfect pronunciation of Maori words really shows he is in touch with paihia and the culture. Everyone felt safe, comfortable and by the end of the trip everyone left with smiles.
Found out he went to a rival school to myself, we never had any animosity ;)

Great condensed tour to view the highlights of the Bay of islands but still have the time for a quick hike and some water fun. The crew is very friendly and fun to be with! If you don't have a full day this is the best experience around.
