New Zealand North Island in 3 Days 2 Night ExperienceKart Tour
Our trip with Karthik from Experience Cart was fantastic and exceeded all our expectations! My husband and I considered renting a car, booking our own activities, reserving our hotel, and finding restaurants ourselves, but opting for Karthik’s services made the tour stress-free and enjoyable. The vehicle we traveled in was very spacious, comfortable, WiFi equipped. Karthik knew the best route and time to travel to each spot. Our first major stop was Waitomo Caves, Glow worm Caves. We were offered drinks and snacks during the driving portion of the trip. Karthik was well versed in local topography and history pointing out highlights along the way. We traveled from Chicago, IL, USA and had only 5 days in New Zealand, spending 2 nights and 3 days with Karthik. Thanks to him, we were able to experience far more activities and see many more sights than we could have on our own. Karthik handled all the ticketing in advance, so we avoided long lines, and he arranged some excellent meals for us. We stayed at the Pullman Hotel in Rotorua, which offered stunning views and was located in an area perfect for self-exploration. Karthik was always willing to drive us wherever we wanted to go during our free time. Additionally, he took us to beautiful, lesser-known sites along the way to our major destinations. Overall, Karthik’s thoughtful planning and local expertise made our trip truly memorable. Would highly recommend without reservation.

      ExperienceKart is top notch
I chose ExperienceKart based on reviews I read on TripAdvisor and I'm glad I did. My initial reservations for Hobbiton ended up being full and ExperienceKart contacted me right away to secure a different date, luckily within our travel window. Their customer service ahead of the tour was outstanding. My husband and I had a private tour with a wonderful guide, Dibs, to Hobbiton and the Glow Worm Caves. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything around the area, even taking some extra time for a non-tour stop so we could see the endangered kiwi at a sanctuary along our way. I highly recommend ExperienceKart and Dibs for a great experience and would definitely use them again if we return.

      Great job, Experience Kart!
The staff worked with me to plan the perfect activities and hotels for us, based upon our interests and physical abilities. Our guide/driver was very pleasant, and took great care of us. It was so nice not to have to worry about anything! Everything was so well organized! I didn't want to drive on the New Zealand roads, and ExperienceKart made our dream of visiting New Zealand a reality!

      BEST EVER!!!
I can't recommend this experience highly enough. From the last minute booking decision (day before!) to the excellent communication and correspondence from the office team. Our driver went above and beyond to accommodate a couple of wish list items and was our absolute hero all day. He was friendly, punctual, knowledgeable and the best possible personality match for my son and I. Also a skilled driver, very important because we travelled quite a distance, not to mention able to keep us on track in a very pleasant way despite the multiple distractions. None of my Auckland friends knew this tour could even be done in day! Worth every penny and a memory we will cherish forever.

Every detail fantastic! Great day experience!
This was a great experience! Our guide, Ama was so wonderful! She arrived promptly and was warm and welcoming. She shared lots of interesting information about the Māori culture and area as we travelled to the caves. We were given a lovely goodie bag when we settled in the car that contained a bottle of water (and there was more available onboard), cookies, tissues, snacks and a local favorite - L & P. The car was very comfortable and had onboard WiFi. Regarding the cave adventure, the Ruakuri was very informative and interesting. We learned alot and the guide was informative and helpful answering many, many questions. He also allowed ample time for pictures. The Waitomo Glowworm tour was much more touristy. The experience in the cave was very brief. The experience on the boat staring up at all the glowworms was amazing. After the caves, we stopped at The Thirsty Weta Bar in Otorohanga and it was delicious! Overall, it was a great day.

Tour driver/guide was best we’ve had!
For me this time it was all about the driver. He went above and beyond all day trying to get us the best possible experience. Friendly, intelligent, reliable, proactive, capable, knowledgeable and professional. Best tour guide we’ve ever had. Amazing.

      Great experience!
We had a great time. Dibs was an excellent tour guide! From the goody bags on pickup, to cleanliness of the car, great information about the area along the drive, well-timed stops with photo opportunities, and perfect timing for the Lady Knox geyser eruption… the trip was planned and executed well. The self guided tour of the geothermal wonderland and the mud spa did not disappoint either. It was a lot of car time—but the stops and Dibs guided chatter made it go pretty quickly. We definitely recommend!

      Ziplining fun at Rotorua
We did a mother and son trip and had so much fun doing the ziplining. Of course that all started with having a wonderful private driver and tour guide, Ama. She was punctual, had a bag of treats which was a nice touch. I loved that she shared her Māori heritage and history and pointed things along the drive. She was very open and answered all my questions. The zipline was fun and only wished there was 1-2 extra of the 400m line. The zipline tour guides were also funny and kept it interesting.

      Overall a nice experience !!
We were a family of six people out of which me & my son have height issues but it was an amazing experience. We thoroughly loved it. Our tour guides Amy & Jenna were nice & helpful, kept us informed & helped well in making us understand the way we enjoyed the tour more. The forest is absolutely green & dense, air so fresh, this in itself makes you feel so nice. We were informed that the earning from the tours is also used in keeping the forest pest free & thereby try increasing the ever decreasing birds population in the area, which is a nice initiative. Overall it was a good experience & I have no hesitation in recommending it to the people visiting Rotorua !!

      Most amazing caving experience!!
My husband and I, both in our 60’s, had an amazing adventure. I’m a little afraid of heights but it wasn’t a problem. The training in how to use the rappelling gear made a big impact. The hardest part for me was walking up the hill after getting out of the cave. Shout out to Teddy for helping me during the last part of the caving experience. Cannot recommend it enough!!

Great Day to see 2 Caves!
This tour is a great way to see 2 caves in New Zealand. We were picked up from Auckland at our AirBnb, driven to the caves, was able to see the difference in the 2 caves and back. The 1st cave was a little shorter tour but the 2nd cave as a long tour. It was described in Viator as we expected with bio breaks, lunch and snacks provided which was really nice! Karthik was a great driver and provided lots of information as we drove up to the sites... although, it was a little early but necessary if both caves are to be seen! Thanks for a great tour!
