Breathtakingly stunning !!! How lucky are we that the owners of this fantastic property have opened it up and shared their amazing collection of art works. We had travelled from the South Island to visit and we just loved every minute. Thank you so so much.

          Matakana Coast and Country Tour
This was our 1st tour in Auckland. It was a private tour for just 4 of us and a great introduction to New Zealand. Ron was delightful to spend the day with and is very knowledgeable. We enjoyed leaving the city and seeing the countryside. Our highlights of the day was our trip to the Morris and James pottery factory and to the Honey centre. It was amazing to see a 800 year old Ancient Kauri tree at the Parry Kauri Park and visiting Puhoi heritage village. We stopped at a local Village for a delightful lunch. This trip was money well spent and thank you Ron for a wonderful day

Fantastic Day with Lorraine and Tui Tours
My husband and I recently spent the day with Lorraine in New Zealand, who owns and runs Tui tours with her husband (Tui is actually a bird and not the unpopular tour group Tui in the UK!). Lorraine picked us up at our hotel at 6:30 in a new and very comfortable Mercedes van. We traveled two hours to the coast over beautiful mountains and farm lands. Lorraine was very personable and shared lots of interesting history of the area. We arrived at the beach where Cathedral Cove is located and took a one hour boat tour (again the guides were very informative), followed by a brisk hike down to Cathedral Cove Beach with stunning scenery the entire way. Lorraine then took us to a lovely lunch at a local cafe followed by a trip to the Hot Thermal Beach which was something we had never experienced before. We then make the drive back across the country, where we stopped for a short hike up a volcano where the views were again stunning. We were rewarded with this last hike with a scoop of local ice cream and a relaxed drive back to our hotel in Auckland. We can not stay enough about the wonderful day we had with Lorraine and Tui tours and would highly recommend them for a fantastic day out! Joe and Chris

Great tour, zodiac boat ride was the highlight
Although this was marketed on viator as a private tour, we had another couple join us which was fine as we were very compatible (Tui tours on their website markets their tours as “small group”). The tour itself was great, especially the zodiac boat ride around the bay, zipping in/out of the craggy inlets and around Cathedral Cove. Second best was Mt Paku, riding up most of the way, walking up the rest to the tippy-top for a fantastic view. The thermals weren’t much at the time of the day we were there, but I wasn’t interested in them anyway (and made that known beforehand). We chose not to do the cathedral cove walk due to a back injury, and the alternative walk was pleasant, but not much additional scenery than from the top (so my preference would have been to do the cove walk if I were able). We saw quite a bit of one side of Cathedral cove from the zodiac boat ride (which we did before the walk option), and to do the walk all the way thru the cove/cave at the time we were there would have meant a swimsuit (i.e. no dry walk but probably not very deep). Lorraine and her husband /driver were very friendly, told us a lot of history throughout, especially during the drive. The chosen lunch place was fantastic, absolutely the best food I had in NZ during the entire trip. Snacks provided throughout the day were plenty. Yes, I would definitely recommend this tour.

          A fantastic and pleasant day!!
It was a fantastic day, not only because of Coromandel, the Cathedral Cove and the boat trip, but also because of Ron and Lorraine wonderful support and attention! As it is a long way from Auckland to Coromandel, Ron and Lorraine dedicated this time to explain to us all the history involving the places we would visit and about New Zeland culture. We had a wonderful lunch time and a picturesque TIP-TOP New Zeland ice cream before returning to Auckland. Thanks a lot Ron and Lorraine for this pleasant experience! Alexandre & Fabiana (Brazil)

Private service at a reasonable price
We booked the Waitomo Caves & Hobbiton Day Trip through a third party service. They were very responsive leading up to our tour. Confirming times and dates. Pickup was prompt. Ron was very informative and friendly. We loved our Waitomo tour. And Hobbiton was a lot of fun. We had lunch at Hobbiton which was included. We had a great day and it was nice to have a private driver.

Ron from Tui Tours met us at the cruise terminal shortly after the ship docked and took us on a wonderful and informative tour of Auckland. the highlight as eating snapper fillets at a cafe in Devonport looking back at Auckland harbour.

          Great tour and service!
We took the Private Transfer and Half Day Auckland City Tour from the airport to our hotel. Ron from Tui Tours was waiting for us at the exit from baggage claim, and gave us a very informative tour of Auckland highlights on our way to our hotel. We stopped at several sites along the way, getting great views of the city and learning a lot about Auckland history. We stopped for lunch at the Wintergarten Pavillion, which was delightful. We would definitely recommend this tour company and tour.

          Great day with great guides!
Lorraine and Ron were great guides! Coromandel was what first inspired me to plan a trip to New Zealand and this tour was a highlight of my two-week trip. The tour was almost cancelled due to bad weather, but Lorraine kept in contact the day before to give updates on weather for the next day. It was just my friend and I that day, so Lorraine was super great about rearranging the schedule to accommodate us and the weather. We went to coromandel first and there were only two other people on the beach, so it was perfect for pictures and to explore. The boat tour on the Haihei explorer was an unexpected highlight. It was so much fund, and we got up close and even went inside a few caves and saw coromandel from the water. We had lunch at a great little restaurant. The whole day was well planned and organized. Lorraine had everything we needed (towels and shovels for hot water beach, snacks, water). I was super glad we chose this tour as opposed to trying to drive ourselves or another tour company.

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE, VERY INCREDIBLE GUIDE, THIS SERVICE IS THE BEST
Jason took us to see the sculpture garden, plus tastings. He is a true “gentlemen” in all sense of the word. We could adopt him, patient, answered all of our dumb questions, took care to make sure we were comfortable. One of our first tours ever, but we had many more planned, and did we get a wake up call! 80% were very disappointing, give me Jason and his family company every time. Tui Tours, you guys are the very best! If we ever go back to Australia we would try to fit in what ever they offer, as it would be so worth while. If you have the opportunity and are near by, give them a call, you will be pleased youmdid.

          AMAZING DAY!!
WOW!! My parents and I had a fabulous day with Lorraine and Ron! During our day long layover in Auckland, we were able to see all of the main sites and really learn about Maori culture! My mom described Rob and Lorraine as family or friends we hadn't seen for a long time! We are so happy we booked our tour with Tui and can't wait to return to NZ!

We were picked up from cruise ship terminal by Ron and Lorraine and as we only had 3 hours before we had to be at the airport had a quick tour of Auckland before an airport dropoff. We managed to see quite a bit of Auckland and learnt a lot about Maori history and early settlers which was fascinating. The vehicle is extremely comfortable and easy to access. It was a very personalised private tour at a reasonable price. Highly recommend.

We were looking for a half day tour of Auckland along with airport drop off and Tui Tours offered the perfect package at a reasonable cost. We were collected from our hotel and Lorraine and Ron proved to be perfect hosts with lots of knowledge. It was a brilliant tour and we arrived at the airport with time for coffee. Thank you so much.

It was set up as a small group tour, but ended up being a private tour for us. Lorraine showed us the highlights of Auckland city (some of which we had seen the previous day on the Hop-on,Hop-off bus), with a personal touch. Very knowledgeable about NZ, culture, history, sits and environs, etc. Went out of her way to take us to the other side of the island to see the national park sites, lion's head and black sand beach, lovely local lunch; then on to Devonport, and back to the city. Tui Tours is a a women owned entreprenurial venture that provides superbly orchestrated visits with a truly special touch.
