        Beautiful Country - Wonderful People
Donna was our guide on Saturday, October 19. She is absolutely charming and so knowledgable of everything Maori. The entire day was molded by our interests and could not have been more special. Harry was our guide on Monday, October 21. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well. So, he found a clinic that would accept me and I was able to see a doctor. He even gave them his personal information as a local contact. We spent about 4 hours there. Then, since he was concerned that we had missed an excursion he was able to get us into another one the following evening. We HIGHLY recommend TIME UNLIMITED TOURS to everyone who is planning to visit New Zealand.

Hobbiton is a hole in the ground--an amazing one!
This was an exceptional tour from start to finish. Curtis picked us up at the M Social in Auckland in a classy Mercedes van, clean, well stocked with everything we needed. He introduced himself and gave us a bit about his family and then proceeded down the road to Hobbiton with lots of local lore and helpful background information. He was kind, considerate, and informative attending to our every need. The Hobbiton experience itself was way above our expectations with spectacular views, detailed realistic hobbit hole sets and settings, amusing and helpful tour guide walking us through the Shire. For a Lord of the Ring buff, it was a dream come true and I recommend it for all fans of the movies by Peter Jackson on the Tolkien tales. Curtis courteously dropped us off in Rotarua but first gave us some helpful tips on local eating and visiting. He also was well informed about New Zealand travel in general and gave us more info on our flights and tours to the South Island in upcoming days. Overall, 5 STARS!!

A wonderful tour to two magical places
I searched online for a private tour to two specific destinations around Aukland, the Waitomo Caves and Hobbiton. Time Unlimited offered the services so chose them. I was sent texts and messages via Tripadvisor to confirm details. It sort of put me at ease because it helped confirm that the date and time was correct for the booking. We were picked up promptly at our hotel in Aukland by John. One of the most incredible tour guides I have had. I've done private tours in other countries and John is exceptional and knowledgeable. My party was taken to both sites in a comfortable car with lots of room and plenty of snacks! When we reached our destination I felt like a VIP the way John handled the entrance of Waitomo and Hobbiton. Since we were able to complete the tour on the early side he drove us around the city of Aukland which was a bonus. I would definitely recommend Time Unlimited for anyone looking for a tour in Aukland, and would love to thank John for making our experience memorable.

        Highly recommended
We can’t say enough about the day spent with Ceillhe! We were driven in total comfort from our Auckland hotel to Waitomo caves, completely immersed in Ceillhe’s narratives about the history, lands and particularly the culture of the areas we passed through. We were totally in synch with the private tour of the Waitomo caves thanks to great communication between the two. Following the caves we continued on, with a stop for lunch, to Rotorua. We learned more about Māori history, culture and present day situations during this drive than we did the next 2 days touring Rotorua!

Time Unlimited Tours - The Very Best with Neill
The tour of Waitomo Caves showed off their beautiful columns of stalagmites and stalactites. The colors and shapes were extraordinary. The cave is well known for its glow worms and for good reason - they are quite an unusual sight when the lights are turned off for us to get a good look. As much as we enjoyed the tour, our tour guide for the day, Neill, made the day very memorable. The ride to the caves from Auckland took about an hour and a half. Along the way and after, Neill was a great conversationalist and we enjoyed a wide range of topics. In addition, he stopped on the way back to treat us at his favorite cheese and candy shop and then to a sandwich shop for lunch. Without a doubt, one of our best tours - all due to Neill. We would recommend Neill at Time Unlimited Tours wholeheartedly!!

        Feeling second class
Our first morning in Auckland, we did a City tour, with Tme Unlimited, to get a feel for the City. Although the tour itself was very interesting, and we stopped at several good viewpoints, and were given some excellent information about the city, unfortunately we were only doing half, of what seemed to e a full-day tour for most people. As a result, we felt a bit 'second class', with the guide constantly saying things like, "This afternoon we will be..." We were even told that we had to 'sit at the back of the minibus, as we were only doing the the morning tour'!

ANOTHER GREAT DAY TOUR WITH TIME UNLIMITED AND CURTIS!
We had a lovely day with the personable and professional Curtis as our guide, exploring the Waitekere Ranges before enjoying lunch at a craft brewery and a nice wine tasting in Kumeu Country. Although we weren't able to get to the spectacular gannet colony at Murawai (which we had been fortunate enough to have visited some years ago) because the access road was under repair, Curtis provided a wonderful amended itinerary. He also graciously accommodated our request for a brief stop at Mount Eden on the return journey, putting the icing on the cake! We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this tour (and certainly Curtis!) to anyone.

A FABULOUS FULL DAY WITH A GREAT TOUR GUIDE!
This was an excellent day tour - both sites were absolutely amazing as was the lovely scenery of the North Island. What really made the day, however, was our guide, Curtis, a knowledgeable, charming, and engaging host, as well as a highly skilled driver. Thank you, Curtis, for a wonderful time! We would highly recommend this tour to anyone.

An exceptional learning experience every tourist should take.
Breviss was the perfect tour guide. He was jovial and charismatic. He knew his audience and how to make sure they had a good time. The tour is an all day event. Breviss picked us up and took us to see some of the historic sites in Auckland. Every place he took us had an epic view of either the ocean or the city. We ate at great restaurant before heading off on a drive to see the beach. Snacks and water were available throughout the trip. At each stop Breviss gave us a bit of history for the location and endeavored to teach us a few words in Maori. He made it a welcoming environment to ask questions about both the Maori culture and their history. We learned a great deal about the culture and Breviss spoke with clear passion about the challenges faced by the Maori people; both in their colonial past and in the present. You really couldn't ask for a more entertaining and informative tour of New Zealand in such a short time. The trip itself does last the whole day from 9am until approximately 4:30pm. But it was well worth the time and money.

        Excellent day
A great day trip in the hands of our wonderful guide Kirsty. Saw all the relevant sites in Rotorua and the Te Puia geothermal and Māori experience is a must. Exceptional little touches with water and snacks in the Mercedes people carrier. Whilst Te Puia was an extra charge you can tailor your day to suit your own preferences. Overall great value for a private 11 hour trip.

        Luxury in Touring and Education
We had engaged Ceillhe and Neill before Covid and finally 4 years later we got to Auckland and it was worth the wait. We spent over three days and two nights on tour, from Auckland, to Rotura, to Hobbiton, to Sanctuary Mountain. We had the best care, We enjoyed the luxury, the education, and the care that was provided. The tour was personalized for us. We learned of New Zealand, its peopls including the Maori (Ceillhe is Maori). We highly recommend this tour, but only if you want the best. We met Neill and Ceillhe as Tour Guides, we left them as family. Our highest recommenmdation Alex and Madelyn

Tour companies that are a star above the others
This is an awesome tour company. We were picked up on time by the owner Neill, and did a tour of Auckland city. He is very knowledgeable and safe driver putting customers a priority in everything. We had a second full day tour to HobbiTon and Waitomo glow worm caves and our driver was Julia. Again a very safe and knowledgeable driver putting the comfort and desires of the customer a priority. Highly recommend this group if you want a five star luxury experience. Will book again with no hesitation.

Cheeky Kiwi tour of the Lord of the Rings movie set and the Glow Worm Cave.
The Hobbiton movie set was fantastic. I kept expecting to see Sam and Frodo appear at any moment. Very well done and an experience everyone should have. I highly recommend the walk and boat ride through the Glow Worm Cave. A once in a lifetime moment. Our Cheeky Kiwi Guide/Driver, Grant, was professional, gave informative talks and did his best to ensure that each person enjoyed the total trip. Worth every penny spent.

We broke the tour into two half days. We had a fantastic guide each day, Harry and Neil, who showed us the gems of the western coast - from the mountain tops to the black sand beaches and then the amazing volcanoes and craters and architecture of Aukland on the second day. We learned about Māori culture and origins in New Zealand and so much about the country. Our guides took us to little visited spots both days, which meant we were not part of a crowd, which we enjoy. We learned so much, which is important to us and why we travel. It was the best way to start our exploration of Aukland and New Zealand. Our transportation was great and comfortable, as well. You will not be disappointed with TIME Unlimited. They are absolutely first rate.

Our day touring the area was a major highlight of our time in New Zealand. The views of Auckland and our visit to Takatunga/Mount Victoria were made special with the commentary provided by our Māori guide, Breviss. We learned so much about Māori history and culture. After a fabulous lunch, we travelled to the west coast and visited the beautiful Piha Beach. One of the most memorable stops on the way back to Auckland was seeing a 1,000 year old kauri tree. It was breathtaking! These are memories we will carry with us forever.

We had an excellent trip with a lot of variety between city and outlying areas. A few of the quick stops in town could have been skipped. The view of the city from the heights across the bay in Davenport was excellent. I would have preferred more time in the natural areas outside of town where there are some short hikes to beautiful areas. I enjoyed learning about the Maori culture and traditions from our host and she did a great job of encouraging the group to become familiar with one another and talk about our experiences.

We feel so knowledgeable after a day with him, and we truly enjoyed his company and expertise. Highly recommended booking a tour with Time Unlimited, and specifically with Harry if you can!

My husband and I had a 3 day tour with Curtis. Everything we experienced and saw was top-notch for our first visit to New Zealand. It was quite exciting to be in a part of the world that we knew nothing about other than a little bit on T.V. He was so knowledgeable, informative, and just had a very easygoing, fun personality. We saw so many things in such a short time, breathtaking coastline and rock formations, a visit to the Lost Spring to soak in their hot pools, a winery, experienced some great local spots for lunch, and just all the natural, green beauty of this amazing country. It could have been overwhelming, but Curtis broke it all down for us and we learned so much from him. The van ride was quite comfortable, there were snacks and drinks available for us, and I don't think I would have changed a thing. This was a great company to work with for sure.
