Top notch. Milton was a expert driver on windy roads. Very humorous commentary. Piha beach was magnificent. Very refreshing treats at end.

It was a great trip. We loved all of the stops. Guides Meredith and Dustin were both excellent!! The tea and biscuits after the beach was lovely.

Absolutely fantastic day! 😊 Damian was friendly, professional and very informative throughout the whole trip. Would highly recommend this company. The van was super comfortable and all of the employees that I came in contact with were very pleasant.

Not only did he keep us all entertained but rather have us almost all the details of the whole city from his personal experience while reaching to our destination. We had an amazing trip with Damian who was an exceptional host. Wonderful trip down in the bus with fantastic commentary provided by Damian. The marquee lunch was lovely and Hobbiton was beautiful to visit. The ride back again with Damian informative and educational. This is a first class company and well worth the money spent for their tours.

Pete (our guide) and Pete (our driver) were very friendly and knowledgeable. We stopped for a quick lunch (delicious meat pie for me) at a very good bakery. Had a bush walk at a beautiful regional park, then Piha Beach. Really gorgeous, lovely experience. Would definitely use this company again.

Bush & Beach ran a well organized and convienent tour. Our driver (Michelle) was super friendly and very knowledgeable. But Hobbiton itself was amazing. We’ll done and no tacky or cheesy. 100% would recommend to anyone who enjoyed the movies. But would also say there is no better tour operator from Auckland than Bush & Beach.

The whole tour was incredibly relaxed and well structured. Our guides were very knowledgeable about the native NZ flora & fauna and answered well the many dozens of questions thrown their way. The beach was great and the tea & cookies wrapped up a great trip very well. As someone who was in Auckland only for a few days, I considered this trip to be a very good and productive use of time.

Wayne is AMAZING! It was our first tour as a family and he made the experience enlightening and fun. It’s really hard to keep a group engaged and entertained for such a long trip but his enthusiasm kept the day alive! He is incredibly thoughtful and we enjoyed his company. We had an incredible experience with this tour! Our driver, Damian, picked us up from our hotel at 6:45 am and we set off on a scenic journey to the Hobbiton movie set, joined by 11 other guests. Throughout the trip, Damian shared fascinating insights about New Zealand's history, the regions we passed through, and the stories behind both the Hobbiton set and the Waitomo Glowworm Caves. His knowledge was exceptional, and his sense of humor made the day even more enjoyable. Hobbiton itself was breathtaking, with every detail meticulously crafted—it truly felt like stepping into Middle-earth. The Waitomo Glowworm Caves were equally mesmerizing, offering a surreal and beautiful experience. If you’re visiting Auckland, don’t miss the chance to take a tour with this company—it was hands down the best experience we’ve had!

The tour was great. The tour guides were knowledgeable and helpful. Alex went above and beyond, and he was very accommodating, and I would highly recommend using their company again for other tours as well.

Hobbiton was for sure amazing but I would like to give cudos to the Bush and Beach tour guide Damien because the the experience would not have been the same without his positive attitude + the facts and trivia about NZ and Hobbiton. Just what you want from a tour experience like this.

Kelly gave us a great tour of the city and surrounds. We saw and learnt so much in the 3 hours. Perfect amount and pacing of information, he is very knowledgeable about the city, people, economy and sights. Good fun and happy to answer any questions along the way. Stopped at really good places for photos, views & coffee. We’ve done quite a few of this type of tour and this was one of the best. Would highly recommend
