Mornington Peninsula Wineries

Yabby Lake Vineyard is the perfect first stop on your wine trail. Here you will taste wines that capture the spirit of this beautiful winery, young and fresh and with great attention to detail in their very small production. The Red Claw label is crafted from fruit on the estate and is available for tasting at their cellar door.

Quealy Wines offers the widest range of wines on the Peninsula. Quealy are experienced, educated, curious and some would think outrageous winemakers. They defy the status quo but are steeped in tradition. You will be greeted by friendly and knowledgeable hosts.  You will taste several of the vineyard expressions of Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir sourced from some of the oldest and finest sites on the Peninsula.

Next stop is Stonier Wines, established in 1978 by Brian Stonier starting with planting a chardonnay vineyard in Merricks on the south side of the Mornington Peninsula. Stonier’s now source grapes from several sites on the Mornington Peninsula. The cellar door opened in 1991 and presents striking architecture designed by well know architect Daryl Jackson whose work includes the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground.

Lunch options include the Merrick's General Store, Merricks Creek or RareHare at Jackalope Hotel . (depending on the day of tour and availability). All offer high quality, local produce for a delicious dining experience, paired with a glass of wine.

Your last winery stop fro the day is the local favourite and one of the oldest wineries in the region, Hickinbotham where you can also taste their craft ale and relax with live music before the return trip to Melbourne City
