Overview
The beautiful beaches, bushland, and nature reserves of Phillip Island lie just south of Melbourne. On this tour, enjoy four unforgettable wildlife encounters in one day—spot kangaroos at the Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park, tour a working sheep farm on Churchill Island, visit the Koala Conservation Centre, and watch the famous Penguin Parade on Summerland Beach.
What to Expect
Get picked up from your Melbourne hotel and set out on the 1.5-hour journey to Phillip Island. Before crossing the bridge to the island, stop along the Mornington Peninsula to visit the Moonlit Sanctuary Wildlife Conservation Park. Follow the Wallaby Walk and spot a wide variety of native Australian animals, including wallabies, kangaroos, koalas, and dingoes.

After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Churchill Island Heritage Farm, a working farm where you can see a sheepshearing demonstration and watch the sheepdogs at work.

Then set out to explore Phillip Island, starting with the Koala Conservation Centre, where you can observe koalas in their natural habitat. Stop to see the Nobbies rock formations, Seal Rocks, and Cape Woolamai before heading to Summerland Beach for the evening Penguin Parade: watch hundreds of little penguins waddle across the beach to their burrows.

Return to Melbourne, where your tour ends back at your hotel.

Penguin Plus experience was extraordinary!

Our trip was very good, although it rained all day-but stopped in time for the penguin experience! Toby was a good driver, but could have been a better “tour guide”. The PenguinPlus upgrade was definitely worth the extra $. Sherrill Latour 727-430-7278 jcjmom@aol.com -----Original Message-----...More

The tour is great but the guide ...

The tour starts from Melbourne very early in the morning, then the first stop is in the moonlit sanctuary. This attraction is simply great, you can feed kangaroos or the koalas and watch the animals in quite a big park walking around freely. The following...More

not sure exactly about aura, but almost all tours have pick ups at flinders street. in fact most start from there.
