Great Ocean Road Small-Group Ecotour from Melbourne
From US$98.60
Overview
No visit to Melbourne is complete without traveling the Great Ocean Road, home to some of Australia’s most dramatic scenery. Eliminate the hassle of car rental on this tour, which includes stops at Apollo Bay and Great Otway National Park. Receive personalized attention from your guide, and access more of the Great Ocean Road than larger bus tours do. Convenient hotel pickup and drop-off are also included.
What to Expect

Your Great Ocean Road adventure begins with pickup from your Melbourne hotel, where you’ll board a Wi-Fi–equipped minivan. Travel through the beautiful beach town of Torquay, the official start of the Great Ocean Road, and stop to observe wild koalas at Kennett River.

Break for lunch at a restaurant overlooking Apollo Bay before exploring the semitropical forest of Great Otway National Park. Gaze at the dramatic Twelve Apostles, undoubtedly the region’s most famous natural landmark, during a stop at Port Campbell National Park; upgrade to include an unforgettable helicopter ride over the iconic rock formations.

Visit Loch and Gorge, the site of a notorious 19th-century shipwreck, and marvel at the dramatic result of erosion at Gibson’s Steps.

Stop for dinner (at your own expense) before relaxing during the journey back to your Melbourne hotel.

Long day but worth it

Bryce was our tour guide and we found him excellent. There's a lot to see and he organised the time well, emphasising (in a nice way) what time we should all return to the coach at each stop. The Great Ocean Road is a 'must...More

Breathtaking tour

Adam was an excellent tour guide with a lot of knowledge and shared quite a number of history of Melbourne with us. The scenery itself is breathtaking. Everything was well organised and on time and just perfect!
