Explore the Whitsunday Islands in an optimal way—on a high-speed catamaran—during this full-day tour from Airlie. This high-speed boat wastes no time getting to the islands' most famous landmark, the pristine Whitehaven Beach, where you can swim, lounge, and snorkel. Use of snorkeling gear, morning and afternoon tea, and a barbecue lunch are all included.

What to Expect

Make your own way to Port of Airlie where you step aboard your high-speed catamaran. Find a seat while the boat ferries you swiftly out to the Whitsunday Islands. Traveling aboard a fast boat allows you to spend more time in the islands themselves.

Once you arrive in the islands, enjoy a guided walk with a crew member, during which you learn about the Ngaro people on the way to Hill Inlet lookout. Back on the boat, cruise around the Whitsunday Islands National Park and stop at the Inner Reef for some snorkeling using provided equipment. Explore the turquoise waters and abundant sea life that the Whitsundays are famous for at your leisure.

A provided morning and afternoon tea, as well as a midday barbecue lunch, ensures you won’t go hungry throughout the day.

The catamaran returns to Port of Airlie at the end of the tour.

A lovely day out, sailing around the Whitsundays

We had sailed on the Camira catamaran during a previous visit to Queensland and decided to repeat the cruise. The cruise itinerary had changed as we visited the Hill Inlet and Betty's Beach, rather than Whitehaven Beach. The views from Hill Inlet were spectacular and...More
