Overview
The Great Barrier Reef is one of the best places on earth for snorkeling and scuba diving. This tour offers options for all ages and abilities, making it ideal for groups or families who don’t want to all do the same thing. Cruise out to the Outer Reefs, where you can choose to snorkel, take an introductory scuba dive, or enjoy up to three certified dives.
What to Expect
Make your way to the marina in Cairns to meet your guide and board the high-speed custom-built boat. Admire the views from deck and enjoy morning tea as you sail across the Coral Sea to explore the more remote Outer Reefs.

During the tour, visit three different dive sites where—depending on the tour option selected—you can swim and snorkel amid the vibrant coral gardens, try an introductory scuba dive accompanied by an expert instructor, or explore some of the deeper deep spots (certified divers only).

Along the way, look out for tropical fish, marine life, and colourful coral formations, and learn more about the UNESCO-listed Great Barrier Reef and its unique ecosystems from the crew. In between, relax on deck and take in the scenery as you tuck into a delicious buffet lunch.

Afternoon tea is also served on-board as you sail back to Cairns.

The good. The crew were great, very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. The equipment was first class, wetsuits, face mask, snorkel, fins, all in good condition and care was taken to make sure we received correctly fitting gear. The provided lunch and general food was good....More

Excellent - worth every single AUD!

When going to the Great Barrier Reef, I do recommend to take a tour to the Outer Reef. There, you will see more fish and more corals. My second recommendation is not to be too stingy when you book a tour. In my case, it...More

Perfect day out

This cruise was fantastic. I scuba dived for the very first time and now I'm addicted. Great staff, safe set up and a fun day out for kids and grown ups alike.

They told us they have about 15 different sites which they rotate around, as well as taking account of the weather - and go to 2 sites on one day. We went on 2 consecutive days, so spoke to the captain who made sure the boat... More

I absolutely agree with the above. Also you need to consider that if you have a medical problem, having ignored the safety guidelines, that might well invalidate your insurance.
