Choose your own adventure on this multi-activity Great Barrier Reef cruise from Cairns. Start with a scenic catamaran cruise out to the moored pontoon boat, equipped with a touch pool, snorkeling equipment, a glass-bottom boat, and semi-submersible, as well as several other experiences available as upgrades. Snacks, lunch, and use of freshwater showers make for a comfortable day trip.

What to Expect

Step aboard a high-speed catamaran departing the Cairns shoreline, bound for the Great Barrier Reef, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On the way to the pontoon, listen to your naturalist guide talk about the sea creatures and plants of the Great Barrier Reef.

On the pontoon, pick the activities you like best. Beginners on up can embark on a snorkeling adventure as equipment and instruction are included. Lycra sunsuits are provided, and wetsuits can be rented at additional cost.

If you wish to stay dry, take a glass-bottom boat or a semi-submersible ride, and get hands-on with the onboard touch tank.

Upgrades include Seawalker helmet diving, introductory scuba diving, or certified scuba diving.

Included on the pontoon are morning and afternoon tea, lunch, use of freshwater showers, an onboard cash bar, and use of Wi-Fi to upload your photos to social media immediately.

The tour ends at the departure point.
