Overview
Get a comprehensive tour of Green Island at the Great Barrier Reef from Cairns on this trip that combines opportunities for snorkeling, hiking, and excursions on a semi-submarine or a glass-bottom boat. Travel from Cairns on a luxury catamaran, which ensures that you can relax and enjoy the scenery while your guide takes care of navigation and directions.
What to Expect
Opt for morning or afternoon departures and whether you'd like to include hotel pickup and drop-off when booking this tour of Green Island from Cairns.

Once you've stepped aboard the luxury catamaran, find a comfortable spot to sit and take in the scenery on the ride to Green Island and the National Marine Park, located just 15 miles (27 kilometers) off the coast of Cairns.

Upon arrival, choose how you'd like to spend your time on Green Island. Slip into the provided snorkeling equipment to explore the underwater world, populated by sea turtles, giant clams, and a variety of tropical fish. Upgrade your experience with a guided scuba tour (additional expense). If you’d rather not get wet, choose from a glass-bottom boat tour or a ride on a semi-submarine (select these options when booking).

This tour also gives you access to Green Island Resort, where you can use the resort’s facilities, rent water sports equipment, or browse the shops. Drinks and food are available for purchase both at the resort and on board the catamaran.
