Best Tour Guide Award fof Libby
Really enjoyed it. The highlight was the driver Libby, who too us to Kakadu and back. Great commentary. Highly recommend the tour and driver Libby --one in a million. Adrian

See a lot of Australian Nature
The positive and negative reviews were very accurate, but the negative ones seemed to be personal taste as to what was boring or not. Read the description - it's what you get. Positives - lovely locations and the tour company did a good job of hitting all the top spots with enough time to see the sights and swim if desired. The lunch was simple, but very well prepared - potato salad, pasta salad, deli sandwiches (make your own), watermelon for dessert. Ice cold water to refill water bottles was available. Negatives - Nov is HOT!!! and HUMID!!! but this is hardly the tour company's fault. Our driver was also the tour guide and while his commentary was good, it was so halting (distracted by having to talk and drive at the same time?) and such a strong accent (of course, I am the foreigner here) that it was hard to understand him. The bus had a very loud idling motor. I would definitely recommend this tour. We saw wallaby, bats, termite mounds and huge spiders. So cool!

An awesome experience in the outback.
We had a wonderful long day, first stopping at the beautifully kept Adelaide River War memorial, then to Edith Falls which was pretty and many of our tour group went into the natural pool, through Katherine which was so much bigger then I first thought. After arriving at the gorge we went aboard the boat and out into the beautiful gorge. Natures gift. We did two boat rides on 2 gorges with full commentary. Walking a short distance between both. Our bus tour driver was competent and very knowledgeable, felt quite safe in his capable hands.

Worst experience ever. Do not use
This was the worst experience. Nothing but cattle herding. When we had a person from our group sick they didn’t care. Would not let us on the bus without all persons from the group. It did not matter to them. They only care about getting as many people through as possible. No concern for comfort or experience as long as they get paid. Seriously do not use this operator.

Kakadau,Katherine and Litchfield great (But read the review )
we did Kadua. , Litchfield Katerine gorge all brilliant , but as other people have mentioned they are very long tours , we did one per day ( BIG MISTAKE ) 6AM start at hotel 8/9 PM return , to early for hotel breakfast , couple of pee breaks on the trip up , maybe a muffin not long enough for 20/30 people to order a coffee, these locations are nowhere near Darwin and you will spend 70/80 % of that time on the coach , with a couple of swimming holes ( they were beautiful ) but by the time you walked down the track , got your swimmers on , one place had no facilities so we got changed out in the open on a rock , then get through the crowd jump in , its time to go , so be prepared with swimmers on already , the commentary along the way was informative , but a tad boring , as there is literally nothing to see along the way ,( flat burnt out vegetation , a few birds and the odd wallaby ( not roos ) so the driver does a good job of commentary about almost nothing , until you arrive at the highlights that are worth the long drive , Now here the kicker people if you do the three locations ,DONT do them separately (14 hour tours each trip) because there is only one highway up there , we saw the same stuff, same commentary, different drivers same blurb , we met a few that took all three but stayed in hotels up there (as they are all in the same region) cost is much the same but you actually can spend more time at the venues without rushing and no coach time , coming back into Darwin at 9 PM is pretty dodgy and nowhere to eat other than a dodgy Maccas. You will thank me if you take the advice they are great locations , long tedious drives

Overpriced tour for what you get and not really worth it.
Long ferry trip - 2.5 hrs each way. Island not well kept and not inviting on arrival. Tour was guided by local Tiwi who showed us what was described on the tour. Lunch was sandwiches and salads all fresh. My Partner who came with me on this tour for a second time, took this tour 25 years ago and observed minimal significant improvements. Disappointed as I wonder where the funds go to what appears to be an overpriced tour. I do hope some funds do go to the communities.

Fantastic guide for Kakadu and Katherine.
Fabulous 3 day tour of Kakadu and Katherine, including jumping crocs cruise, wetland cruise and Katherine Gorge cruise. I can't speak highly enough of our guide Libby. Her depth and breadth of knowledge were brilliant! A great sense of humour too. She also showed her first aid skills when one of our party cut his scalp on a rock overhand on one of the walks. Absolute legend

          Nice day trip
Good timings - pick up 7.30. Drop off at 5pm. Not huge amounts of commentary but a nice helpful driver. Main focus is Litchfield Park waterfalls. Florence Falls pretty rushed in the time allowed - down the steps 5-10 min in the water and walk back via Shadey Creek. Nice though. Tolmer Falls ok and Wangi Falls was great! Enough time and great swimming. Could let go of stopping at airstrip on Stuart highway with cardboard plane cutouts and just focus on the park.

          Too long for one day
Too long for one day. Left at 6.15am and back to hotel at 8pm - too late to eat dinner and too much time on a bus. Recommend NOT doing a day tour to Kakadu unless you like sitting on a bus for hours. Only saw rock art at Nourlange Rock but no time to walk up to the lookout and Yellow Water which was great but that was it apart from a stop at cultural centre. Waited for people who did flight which meant late arrival back in Darwin. Guide/driver Pren was very interesting. Return driver Roman had little of interest to say.

Katherine Gorge and oh so much more - Adelaide River, Edith Falls, good food and crocodile spotting.
Bus Driver Libby provided wonderful local insights throughout the journey, making our tour memorable and enjoyable with her off-the-cuff humour adding to the fun, not to mention her skillful driving.

Will, our driver and guide, was amazing. Great humored, super knowledgeable about flora and fauna and crocodile facts, and an entertaining storyteller about all kinds of history and local lore. His energy over 11 hours was nonstop, and he created a fun -and easy reparte with the group that made it comfortable for all of us to interact . The leaping croc guide was also great (can’t remember his name). My only negative is it’s a lot of time on the bus but again Will kept us entertained. The lunch was very good and we got snacks throughout the day. The swimming holes were varied and refreshing on a very hot day.

        This was a great tour.
The crocodiles were not out in big numbers, but the crew managed to get three of them interested enough to come out to meet us.
It was spectacular watching these massive creatures coming up out of the water, and having a go at the meat hanging tantalisingly close to them.
The almighty 'clunk' as the jaws of the biggest male slammed shut gave me the shivers actually.
I think everybody on the boat enjoyed themselves.
The 'skipper' gave us a very good commentary, and the Croc-master offering the grub to the reptiles, gave a virtuoso performance of a Fish Kite's whistle, luring a couple of them to fly in and take tidbits mid-air!
Later we stopped at the beautiful nature reserve at Howards Springs, and fed the fish.
The tour guide, Roman, was very jovial and well versed in the local history and features.
        A top day out.
        I would reccomend highly.

The male crocodile was really big and had strong jaws. The female was smaller and seemed to be able to lunge out of the water easier and further than the male as it wasn’t so heavy. It was interesting to see how the black kites arrived for any scraps of meat which they took on the wing.

Was so disappointed in this trip. I had done this tour many years ago with a different company and was so looking forward to sharing it with my husband. We saw a few crocodiles and they managed to get one each side of the boat to jump but that was all. The best part of the trip was when he fed the whispering kites that were hovering. The trip into Fogg's Dam was more interesting.

Dear Robyn R, Thanks very much for sharing your experience with us, and we are glad that you enjoyed the trip into Fogg's Dam. We are disappointed that you didn't enjoy the jumping Crocodiles part, and it was unfortunate there were not many Crocodiles on that particular day. We hope to welcome you back to the Top End again very soon, and thanks again for your feedback. The Team at AAT Kings

Once you finally get to the spectacular crocodile jumping boat it is absolutely wonderful. However the two hours on the bus to get there and the more than two hours to return makes it a trial of endurance and patience.
We left the Fogg Dam with plenty of time to get back to Darwin; however our bus driver had to get off the bus and farewell every group and we spent nearly an hour visiting every hotel in Darwin before finally getting to ours! I would strongly recommend finding a better way to get to see the jumping crocodiles than this.

The croc cruise was excellent. The tour was a rip off. $125 for the tour and the cruise is valued at $45 - that's a very expensive bus ride. I won't be making that mistake again. I reckon you could do a deal with Uber and pocket the change.

We loved this experience and will recommend this tour to anyone without hesitation. We were lucky to have the "small boat" which made the experience more interesting. The two ladies were perfect for us the way they presented the tour (Sorry if I have the name wrong but I think it was Caitlyn (?) and I can't remember the other ladies name) My sincere apologies for that.

The tour was very disappointing due to the crocs sunny themselves and was not interested in food. The tour guides did their best but to no prevail. We felt the tour was totally over priced. A bus ride to the river and then a side trip back to base....not even given a bottle of water.....as mentioned totally overpriced.

Crocodiles were huge. We saw about 4 hungry crocs in their natural habitat. Super cool. Our drive/guide Warren was not good. Unhelpful, very vanilla in his commentary and driving not great. Company should hire passionate safe driver guides, very dissapointing.
Enjoyed the bus plus fellow traveller's who were all excited for what is so symbolic to the nt.
