Overview
Ayers Rock (Uluru) is so big, it’s difficult to see the monolith from different perspectives without a few days to spare. Cover more ground in less time on a Segway tour of Ayers Rock (Uluru), a smooth and speedy way to explore the area. Visiting at sunrise means you’ll see the vivid-red rock at its most magical and beat the midday crowds, and hotel pickup makes for a hassle-free day.
What to Expect
Your day trip begins with hotel pickup from your campsite or resort in the vicinity of Ayers Rock (Uluru). After being transferred to the Segway area, you’ll receive a comprehensive safety briefing and embark on a practice ride to ensure you feel confident.

First, watch the sunrise from the base of Uluru while enjoying a light breakfast accompanied by tea and coffee. Then, you’ll set off on a journey around the entire base of the rock, stopping at Mutitjulu Waterhole to learn about Aboriginal culture and local flora and fauna.

After a 6-mile (10-km) loop around Uluru, you’ll return to the base and relax during the journey back to your hotel or camping site.

We were picked up at our hotel by Sarah and Nick. Both friendly and informative. Short drive to the base of Uluru, where a table was set up for breakfast. A great selection of granola, assorted muffins and crossants. Juice, tea and plunger coffee. Delicious,...More

I’m not sure what the minimum age is. They may have smaller ones available but we only had large segways that would be too big
