Afternoon Kata Tjuta Small Group Tour
From US$97.59
Overview
Gain in-depth knowledge about the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and Walpa Gorge on this 4x4 tour from Ayers Rock Resort. Because someone else is doing the driving, you can relax and enjoy the scenery. Traveling with a small group limited to 11 people means you'll enjoy an intimate atmosphere with plenty of time to ask questions about this Australian landmark.
What to Expect
Begin your day with convenient pickup at your Ayers Rock Resort, where you'll climb into a 4WD vehicle. Enjoy the scenery on the way to the UNESCO-listed Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park, looking out for kangaroos on the way while a guide takes care of the driving.

Embark on a 1.5-mile (2.5-kilometer) guided walk through Walpa Gorge, during which your guide will provide commentary on the ancient aboriginal history of the area. Traveling with a small group limited to 11 guarantees that you'll get personalized attention and plenty of time to ask questions about the local people's beliefs and customs.

Back in the vehicle, snap photos and watch the red rock scenery on the way back to your resort for drop-off.

Superficial Tour

The most disappointing of our experiences at this national park - a supposedly three hour tour abbreviated to a little over two hours with a disinterested guide. Not worth the money!More
