3-Day Uluru Camping Tour from Alice Springs Including Kata Tjuta and Kings Canyon
US$289.66
Overview
Get off the beaten path safely and comfortably during this 3-day camping tour from Alice Springs. Follow your guide to less-visited Outback secrets, such as the Valley of the Winds, the George Gill Range, and the Garden of Eden, and highlights like Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Travel like a local by sleeping under the stars and enjoying Aussie Outback food cooked over a campfire.
What to Expect
Depart Alice Springs early on the first day and relax on the ride knowing that all of your Outback camping details have been taken care of for you. Chances are you haven't lugged a tent and sleeping bag on your Australian vacation, so this tour allows you to have a camping experience under the stars with all equipment provided.

Stop at the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park Cultural Centre for a camel ride and then refuel with lunch before exploring the local aboriginal culture of the Red Centre. Take a walk around the famous Uluru monolith before catching the sunset with a glass of bubbly. Spend the night under the stars in a comfortable sleeping setup.

Day Two begins with sunrise over Uluru, learning about its history and aboriginal sacred meaning through your guide's commentary. Hike through the Valley of the Winds to the domes of Kata Tjuta. In the afternoon, take a guided walk around the entire base of Uluru before making camp at Kings Creek Station and enjoying a barbecue dinner by the campfire. The trip's last day begins with a hearty breakfast to fuel up for a hike around Kings Canyon, followed by lunch and a relaxing journey back to Alice Springs.

Incredible time!

So many thanks to Lachie our guide and Mulga Adventures for a brilliant tour. Learnt so much about Aboriginal Tjukurpa, Uluru and the ancient species of plants and bush medicine. I never would have discovered how wonderful central Australia is without these guys.

The guides do tell a lot of the aboriginal Culture. Mulgas adventures is a small company, very friendly and service orientated. Just contact them and ask what you want, no problem at all!
