      Absolutely incredible view
Incredible views. A little tricky driving up and down but use caution especially around the buses. Well worth the trip and the day I choose was clear and warm - very lucky from what I was told.

Really glad we booked this tour!
We were really glad we booked with "Wow A Tour". The whole experience went smoothly and the team was very friendly and even took a few extra moments to show us a little something extra.

      A quick tour fab view
Because of the beauty of the fjords we wanted to get to a Highview point. We went with I-tours They picked us up on time the emailed us as a reminder so pretty well organised. Driver Eric was very friendly and the minibus fitted in seven of us. I would recommend going in the morning because when we were leaving the viewpoint, there were loads of other tours coming We were lucky with the weather sun came out for a bit and we had a magnificent view . This is only a short tour…half an hour there half an hour back and half an hour at the viewpoint which is plenty… Stunning photos..

Do not use Wow A Tour - Sent wrong date on ticket!
Do not use this company, the tickets they sent me the day before were for the wrong date. I hadn’t realised the date as just presumed the QR code would be for the trip I had booked. The tour was fully booked on that day, we were so embarrassed when we were told to get off the minibus as our tour operator had booked us on the wrong date! I was absolutely fuming, I had booked this trip months before as were were on a cruise and obviously only visiting on that day. It really spoilt it for me and my family as we were so looking forward to the viewing point

      Bad weather for beautiful view
The weather was not fit to make the trip all the way up the mountain to the viewpoint. The driver did his best to get us up to the viewpoint to have time to view but we were only there maybe 10 minutes. Trip should have been cancelled and money refunded.

      Poor Tour Operator
The tour operator for the Stegastein Viewpoint Tour is listed as Wow A Tour. The viewpoint itself is spectacular, giving you wide views of the fjord. But we were given only 25 minutes at the viewpoint. Most of the tour was devoted to the drive up and back on a one-lane road. Because there were vehicles driving both up and down the mountain on this thin road, our bus had to stop frequently to allow cars, RVs, and buses coming in the opposite direction to pass. Also, Wow a Tour did not email our ticket voucher until two days before our scheduled tour. The voucher had conflicting directions for the meeting point, stating that we would be met on the cruise pier, but also that the meeting point was at the Flam Visitor Center. We never did meet anyone from Wow A Tour. We managed to find the bus on our own by asking at the Visitor Center information desk, and then asking several of the bus drivers in the parking lot. None of the Visitor Center employees we spoke to had heard of Wow A Tour. Neither had the driver who operated our bus. Is Wow a Tour simply an individual who buys the tickets for the bus to Stegastein, then resells them to tourists?

      Nothing to See at Stegastein
This should be a weather refundable activity. We were completely socked in and couldn't see a thing. A waste of time and money. Very disappointing.

      Awesome View!
The view is absolutely breathtaking. So was the drive up the mountain side. I wondered what Mario Andretti did when he retired. Now I know. He drives a minibus full of tourists several times a day up and down a very narrow (but amazingly two-way) mountain road filled with switch-backs and thousand foot drop offs; each trip striving to improve on his time from the last. You know he's a good driver because he'll tell you. The view was awesome, but if Mario's behind the wheel, you might want to wait until you've lived a good long life before climbing aboard.

      The old church in Flåm
If you have a bucket list this place must be in there. Everything is so amazing the view the old church and the place itself. You haven’t been to Norway if you haven’t been here

A must do trip if visiting Flam, Norway
The views were amazing. And our driver shared some history with us. We also stopped at an old fruit orchard. Beautiful views and old buildings to take pictures of. The road is one lane, very steep with no side rails in some areas. Driver made me feel safe. But you MUST drive slow because of other traffic. I do not recommend renting a car and driving it.

      Definitely worth it!
The viewpoint was spectacular and it was so nice to have an experienced local guide to navigate the stressful narrow road while we could enjoy the incredible views!

      Beautiful
There are shuttles available from Flam, we got tickets from the Flam Tourist Information Center. One can easily drive on their own. It's just a beautiful view. There are hiking trails in the area, we just went up to get some pictures.

Everything about this Tour and visit was amazing! One of the best tours we did on our cruise!

Viking village was lovely and our teens enjoyed it very much! From Ax throwing to archery. Lunch options were good as well (although a little pricey). But the overall experience was excellent! Our tour guide was able to answer all questions and kept us quite intrigued.

And the View in the Fjord - breathtaking!!

    Worth every single $.

Our time in Flåm was amazing from experiencing the train ride on a round trip of all the beautiful scenery to the stop at the waterfall made for an enjoyable day. Also going down to the Flam Church and graveyard looking for relatives buried there added to the great time there. We ate at the Flam brewery for the two nights there and not only was it great food but amazing service. The beer was also very good. The Flam Bakery topped off the experience as it made for a great breakfast each morning. We stayed in a wonderful Airbnb overlooking the fjord. It is a must stop if you are visiting Norway.

The tour operator did not provide correct information. We waited "by the visitors center" for 2 hours for our tour group to show up. DO NOT DO THIS! I finally figured out that you are supposed to get on the standard shuttle bus across the street. There is even a stop number sign that they could reference but they did not. Countless calls to the operator while waiting went unanswered. Wasted $350!

I was captivated by this village and the people who contribute to it. It gives you a different perspective to how these people really lived at the time. Very well done.

Excellent tour guide in the village. Gorgeous surroundings. The polish woodcarver and his wife as well as the weaver woman were quite engaging.

    Wouldn’t call this a “tour”.
The pick up point is actually across the road at the public bus stop “A”. Instructions given to us was to wait outside the tourist information - this is incorrect advice. The bus trip is just is booked seat on the shuttle bus.
The Viking experience was quick, and we strongly recommend waiting for the “guided tour” for it to actually make sense.
The descriptions sounds like there is a Viking feast - its just a cafe for you to purchase meatballs and other hot food.
In summary this is just someone booking the public bus and pre paying your entry for you - convenient but if you had the time, you could probably do this on your own and save some $$.

Not sure why others have reviewed low as we had a fantastic time, although I think the pictures on this are very different to the actual place, so the reviews seem to be based on the trip advisor booking however we went here and really enjoyed it, was super informative and had a great tour guide who was charismatic and made us laugh we loved the archery and axe throwing
