About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- ACrumbie0 contributionsExcellent museum covering issues relating to shipping and beyond.A wonderful museum that exceeded our expectations. It is interactive in a delightful way even for adults and covers a wide range of topics beyond boats and sailing. We were really impressed with the exhibition on emigration and also the visit to the submarine in the harbour.Written 1 December 2021
- catherinejwalsh0 contributionsWouldn’t let us in with jump the queue ticketThere wasn’t actual a queue when we arrived anyway. We went straight to the entrance and they said the ticket was not valid. We went to the ticket office and they said they don’t accept these tickets. We have had to pay again. Can’t get through to the tour company again on phone. It may be the staff at the zoo making a mistake but now happy.Written 27 January 2020
- PhilC7770 contributionsExtra hassleDo not bother with buying this in advance. I check at the Aquarium ticket office where to use my voucher, they helpfully direct me to an office 150 m away and tell me what to look for (more than the voucher did). In the travel company office a woman tells me for 10 minutes that Tripadvisor should have sent me the tickets, despite me showing her the paper voucher, the order on my phone, etc etc. After 10 minutes the other woman says (in Italian) let me check, and after a few minutes she finds the details and prints it out. The Aquarium was good if a bit tatty, the Bigo was good.Written 21 January 2020
- familyLCS0 contributionsexpensiveI baught by internet entrance ticket, it costed 20 eur for person,17 eur for children. In Italy in Miniature it costed 23 euro and 20 euro.Written 28 October 2019
- organante0 contributionsTry it to understand...Being blind in a terrible situation and usually common people can only imagine how is the daily life for a blind. Here you can try the real sensations and enter into the black daily world of many unlucky people.Written 9 October 2019
- Stacy B0 contributionsVery niceWould recommend. Italy in miniature is recommended. I've never seen this before and it was pretty cool.Written 26 September 2019
- SarahKraus0 contributionsNo option in EnglishWe were told because we don't speak Italian we could not go into this experience as no guides could speak English. We were sad to miss out :(Written 24 September 2019
- Roger L0 contributionsA really nice day outWe visited on a Saturday at the end of August and found the zoo to be pretty quiet. Although small, there is plenty to see and it is a great way to spend a few hours. The catering facilities are good and the prices are not too bad.Written 6 September 2019
- jazzie700 contributionsGood ZooWe had read the reviews and did debate whether to visit or not .But we are glad we did , i don't really understand the bad reviews, the animals all look cared for , potentially yes it could possibly do with updating but from what we saw the animals all looked healthy .We enjoyed our day here and thought it was well worth a visit, kept an older child entertained as well and that is no mean feat Well worth a visit .Written 27 August 2019
- Ann-Kathrin H0 contributionsInteresting and interactive! The museum exceeded our expectations: We thought about spending 1-2 hours there, but this is definitely not enough! With all the information, interactive elements and exhibits, you can spend an entire day in the Galata Museum. We really loved the migration exhibition!!! One of the best museums we have ever been to! Definitely worth it and highly recommendable!Written 10 August 2019
- rutharten0 contributionsNice parc but bad connexion with public transportWe arrived by train at Riccione train station from where according to the Aquafan website every 10 minutes bus 58 connects the station with Aquafan. Unfortunately after 35 minutes of waiting we took a taxi (15€). The parc was very nice.Written 16 July 2019
- Jim Boothroyd M0 contributionsWe visited around rome zoo parkWe visited the zoo in Rome only for our kids requirements. They want to see the natural park which we see in Google has in rome to watch the natural environment with real 🐦 and others animals. My kids they Happy to see all the natural environment before going the others attractions.Written 10 July 2019
- Jan44620 contributionsBrilliant experienceThis is a must for anyone visiting Genoa. You are guided round in complete darkness to experience what life is like for a blind person. You really feel the trepidation when trying to cross a road or get on a bus. You also get a feeling for how other senses can be used to compensate, particularly touch and hearing. Our guide was very kind and willing to share her personal experience. We left with much better understanding of the world without sight.Written 5 July 2019
- kathyglover120 contributionsNot worth the money. The aquarium was just okay. We didn't see the tropical garden, because we couldn't find it. The biosphere could be seen in about five minutes and the Bigo lift was not working. In general, Genoa was filthy and not worth the time. My advice is to skip genoa altogether.Written 27 June 2019
- aymorrison10 contributionsGood break for kidsWe had several days in Rome with our young kids. This was the perfect activity for them to get to do “kid stuff.” They loved taking their time seeing all of the animals and playing on the various play areas around the Bioparco. Our only complaint was that many of the trash cans were overflowing and litter was scattered about. It was not a crowded day, so it was kind of surprising. The penguins and seals were our very favorites and they put on quite a show swimming while we were there. I would definitely recommend if you have an extended period of time in Rome with little ones.Written 7 May 2019
