About the operator
- aloistrading00Great choice for a walk around the cityGreat experience and actually a good walk through the city. The guide was excellent (although I don’t remember her name unfortunately). Overall would definitely recommend. One note would be that the food was a very “appropriate” amount. Some people on the tour were expecting it to be a bit more robust, but we found it appropriate.
- 780jtb00Good food tourGood food and tour Felt a bit rushed Very friendly tour guide Liked the reindeer , moose and whale charcuterie Waffle was great!
- sandrasL521EI00City Tour with Beer and Snacks was awesome! Our guide was amazing…we had just the two of us on the tour and couldn’t have had a better time. We highly recommend “ city tour with beer and snacks!”
- Rachel L00A fantastic glimpse into the tastes and culture of Oslo! This tour was a truly wonderful glimpse into the food and culture of Oslo! Ivana was an amazing guide that took great care in connecting with everyone on the tour and offering some great facts and helpful tips to explore! I also appreciated the note ahead of time that the tour would be running late. We got a text hours before our tour began to let us know that the tour would start late due to weather delaying the morning tour. They also offered to pay for some coffees for us while we waited to apologize for the delay. I received the reimbursement that same day and greatly appreciated the extra kindness in that small gesture. I would most definitely recommend this tour and will recommend it to any friends looking to travel to Oslo!
- drjv7500Too big and not disorganisedSadly due to other circumstances the tour started almost 30mins late and the group was too big with 20 guests which meant it felt very hurried and disappointing. The tastings were good but it felt like there wasn’t much of the alternative Oslo and the tour guide was often talking to only half the group because of the size of the party. Nice guide and some of it wasn’t her fault. Also the meeting point instructions aren’t clear at all given the food hall has multiple entrances, overall probably worth trying if smaller group
- E3044AQlizc00Amazing tour would definitely recommend 🤩Fantastic tour didn't realize that we were going to visit other districts, I would never have found these places. Beautiful walk by the river amazing food and great host thanks so much it will remain in my memory.
- 381jilliank00Fun food tour- be prepared to walk!We enjoyed this food tour. We saw the artsy side of Oslo & a big food hall, that we wouldn’t have seen without this tour. (Unfortunately, I was not prepared to walk 3-4 miles, had I known I would have walked less earlier in the day. By the end of the tour I was pretty tired and we had a 15-20 minute walk back to our hotel!) We loved tasting the reindeer, moose and minke whale charcuterie plate- my favorite part of the tour. Room for improvement- the distribution of food was not well organized. The plates were meant for 2 people & there were some solo people or odd numbered groups. Our guide didn’t provide a plate for us but someone in our group gave up their plate. This was a bit awkward. We were lead to wet tables and benches, so that our guide could talk about the food and the area. We could have used napkins to dry off the benches. A minor inconvenience. Overall all the tour was really fun. We loved seeing the neighborhoods, the food was great, enjoyed hearing the history of the area, enjoyed meeting other travelers and would definitely recommend this tour!
- ellieg92300Boring and a Waste of time and Money.2. The lady never stopped talking, and there was no chance to socialize with the group. We were trying some food samples, but we couldn't because of her excessive talking and details about it. Then, we went to try a sausage in a very nasty and filthy place with trash everywhere. I wasted my money and my time there. I have been in many walking groups in Europe, and this is the worst one.
- MichaelB1845600Nice tour with room for improvementsGenerelly speaking nice Tour with exciting places and nice food. But in our point of view still room for improvements: The tour guide seemed to be little bit stressed, maybe nervous. And the distribution of some food and drinks was not organized well. For example directly at the first station plates for two people have been provided. Difficult, if you are a group of three and you get only one plate. Same story for drinks, only one bottle of coke for three peoples. Conclusion: Nice tour with room for improvement
- dave2014400Worth a visitReally interesting view of the city with a friendly and knowledgeable guide - thank you Katarina 😊
- KarmenTravels00Good as a base to work fromWhile the company was good and the guide (Alex) was very nice, I don't think the experience would be impossible to recreate on one's own. It's certainly easier, and it gives a basic idea of what's considered traditional. The guide offered some background on all of the stops, but it was mostly a food tour. The alternative part was only the bit in the end.
- Elizabeth A00Would definitely do this food tour again! This food tour was fun and informative. Tried things I never would have otherwise eaten. Highly recommend! The tour guide was very friendly and it was easy to get around.
- johnnyk88keys00Great Food. Cool Culture! We are “foodies.” So, when visiting Oslo for the first time, we wanted to get a feel for the local flavors and culture that makes the city thrive. This tour was exactly what we had hoped for. Our guide, Katerina, was fun, friendly and knowledgeable. We started at this incredible food hall called Mathallen. (I would have been happy to have spent the entire time there, but there were other things to see and eat!) The tour continued with a lovely walk along the Akerselva where we saw the fish ladder that guides the spawning Salmon up stream. It was a beautiful trail with gushing waterfalls and a Lovelock bridge. It was a fun, informative couple of hours and the food was tasty and festive. Katerina sprinkled humorous tales of local color throughout which made for great discussions and laughter. We highly recommend this mini-adventure during your visit to Oslo! God appetitt!
- Wanderer83012900Famished after food tourOur OsloWay Street Food tour in early June was disappointing. Our guide was informative and explained many interesting cultural aspects of Oslo and the food we were tasting. That part of the tour was excellent. We have chosen food tours all over Europe and have never left one feeling hungry. Sadly, that was not the case in Oslo. Not only did we not eat much, we walked and walked and walked a lot. This would have been fine had we been able to stop, be seated, have water to drink, and a toilet facility available. That was not the case. To be fair, the information about the tour said to expect a waffle, hot dog, Cocoa, soft drink, and a tasting plate (Norwegian cheeses and cured meat). And we got exactly that and nothing more, with long walks.
- Tina B00Walking food tourThis tour was a great way to get a taste of Norway, try new foods, and see part of the city. We really liked our guide. We would recommend.

Riding the e-scooter was quite fun, but the guide didn’t seem very knowledgeable. We asked a lot of questions, to which some answers were not informative. This experience would have been so much better if the guide had a great way of storytelling and was more knowledgeable.

E-scootering was a great way to see the highlights of Oslo. The guide gives time to practice before setting out on the tour. It is very easy to master. Our guide for our private tour was great and very knowledgeable about Oslo. She paced the tour well and was patient, relaxed, and personable. We had a group of seven people ranging in age from 24 to 62. We found that this was the perfect activity that every age in our group LOVED! I strongly recommend signing up for an E-scooter tour with Oslo Way.

A great experience for a family with older teenagers. The scooters were great quality and easy to ride. We saw all the important sites in just over 2 hours and learnt so much about this lovely city. A private tour than can be adapted to your wishes with a friendly, willing guide. Highly recommended.

Fun tour. Starting point is fairly close to congested pedestrian areas, so as a new scooter driver, you're thrown in to the mix right off the bat. Once we got away from opera area, navigation got easier. Tour was the right length of time and showed us areas we wouldn't have seen on foot

Our favorite part was the tour guide was both knowledgeable and very aware of what we wanted to take pictures of and it was just a blast! Very fun. We felt very safe on the roads. We got to see a lot, even the palace. Lots of fun. Would do again!

Great intro to Oslo.
Scooters are fun & easy to use - felt very safe at all times.
In 2-3 hours got a good perspective of Oslo and a nice history lesson.
Would recommend this tour for any visiting for the first time & especially with teenagers.

Paul is an amazing guide and this tour is definitely worthwhile for an overview of Oslo, both the better known sites as well as off the beaten path. The scooters are fun and safe for all ages. Well-planned and an efficient use if time.

I really enjoyed both riding the scooters and the commentary from our guide. However - at points in the tour we were crossing busy roads and pavements on our scooters and I felt a bit apprehensive about having to scoot around traffic and pedestrians, while keeping up with the guide and other riders. I was much more relaxed when we were either off- road or on dedicated cycle lanes.

This was so much fun to do, and a really good way to see more of the city than would have been possible on foot. Our guide was really lovely, and had lots of interesting facts to tell us about the different places we were seeing, and some of Norway's history. I would definitely recommend.

We had an absolutely magical experience on our tour. Thanks to Yvonna who was knowledgeable, friendly, warm and kind. It was our first time riding scooters and we loved it due to the design of the tour, pace and balance between riding, sightseeing and conversation. She even took the best pictures and videos of us riding in front of the palace. Thank you!!!
