Itinerary
Meet your guide and travel companions in central Oslo and, after a short safety briefing, pick out your bicycle and climb aboard. Pedal down Karl Johans gate, Oslo's main city street, past the yellow-brick parliament building (Storting) and 19th-century National Theatre before weaving your way down old cobblestoned streets toward the old shipyards of Aker Bygge to admire the harbor views.

Continuing onward, you'll cruise past neoclassical buildings with vibrantly decorated facades before coming across the Renaissance fortress of Akershus Castle. Enjoy a refreshing drink here (at own expense) before carrying on toward the Royal Palace, the official residence of Norway's king. Next, take a look at the intricate murals inside Oslo City Hall, as well as the room in which the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded each year.

After pedaling to Frognerparken, you have some free time to take in the sights and leisurely vibe of Oslo's biggest public park, loved by locals, and to check out the numerous open-air sculptures by Norwegian sculptor Gustav Vigeland.

Refreshed, you'll then pedal back to your original departure point in central Oslo where your tour ends.

Nice but could be better

It is a good tour but the historical content could be improved. I felt it was a little superficial and the guide didn't really know how to answer some basic questions.More

Hi Luciana and thank you for taking the time to post a review. We are always looking to improve, and while you felt it was a "good tour", we are of course not satisfied with that level of tour. It would be useful for me...More

My husband and I both really enjoyed the bike tour and would do another one. Great way to see the city and learn about it. Josh was entertaining and informative.

Did 2 bike tours & saw the best of Oslo!

We did both the City Highlights tour with Shafiq and the Off the Beaten Path tour with Josh on back-to-back days, and both were absolutely fantastic. We only had a couple of days in Oslo, so this was by far the best way to see...More
