About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- naebunthitai0 contributionsTERRIBLE Experience. Not as advertise.I specifically looked for a small group tour as the bus tour is not my cup of tea. I find big group tour typically being too crowded, not flexible, too rushing, and you will end up having to wait for way too many people to arrive and be ready before you can go to the next stop. This tour advertises as small group tour- with max of 10 per group but ended up being something else entirely. I showed up at the hotel which was the designated pick up spot (as the hotel we stayed was not included in their pick up location) exactly at the pick up time, not 1 minute late, and found the jeep already waiting with the frustrated driver, who was complaining that he was waiting and we are making him late. He moved on to the next pick up spot and showed the same frustration to the next group of people. It turns out that even though 1 Jeep contains 10 ppl max. This company tour travels in group of 3 Jeeps- like a caravan. So the driver was worried that we would be too far behind from the other 2 Jeeps. It turns out among these 3 Jeeps (totally 30++ people- basiaclly a bus tour with more than 1 vehicle), there is only 1 guide/group leader - the rest are just simply drivers. So we ended up having to wait for 30+ people to be ready at every spot before we could leave. Nothing small group about it. The first stop was Pano Lefkara- the lace making village. They did not even go into the village itself. They just stopped at one souvenir shop at the border of the village for everyone to buy stuffs. Luckily we went to that village before during other excursion we had, so we asked the driver whether we will get a chance to visit the actual Pano Lefkara? He simply said there is not enough time. And it carried on like this the whole day. Everything was brief, rush, and we found ourselves waiting for ppl a lot. Our jeep driver was kinda rude. He was not hospitable to any of anyone's request and he would make sure his frustration was displayed. Sometimes he took off when people were actually trying to get on the Jeep. And the group leader kept talking about tips. Most importantly the Jeep itself was not in a good condition. The back door popped open when the jeep was moving for more than one occasions. Overall super BAD experience.Written 16 January 2025
- cleangreen4ever820 contributionsGreat excursionWe had a lot of fun on the excursion and found the guide very informative! The trip was well organized and we felt that we had enough time to see what we wanted to see and got great pictures! The fresh pomegranate juice was the best ever and the lunch at Petrak was delicious!Written 3 January 2025

George Michael was such a great guide!! He was friendly and knowledgeable. He ensured everyone enjoyed the day and made a good trip into an excellent experience. Thank youWritten 11 November 2024
- beasR8643TG0 contributionsFascinating experience!I found this trip to be extremely fascinating and very photogenic! It was a great opportunity to learn more about the history of Cyprus and its civilians, and is well worth a day trip. You get to walk around the (limited) parts of the ghost town that have been opened up since 2021, but there is a LOT you still can’t see unfortunately. You can go for a swim on the beach though, and there are plenty of great photo opportunities. But I would definitely say do your research before going to the ghost town, as it has such a tragic history and is still a very sore political topic with locals, so please be sensitive. It can be a fairly long day so would recommend to those who are thoroughly interested in history/ archaeology/ abandoned places. Make sure you bring plenty of water, and also cash as you need to pay €4 each for entrance to the Salamais ruins- which are stunning! You can see fragments of the marble left behind, which the Greeks covered their spa walls in, as well as surprisingly well-preserved mosaics and underfloor heating structures. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed this experience and would definitely recommend!Written 9 November 2024
- DaveBAmersham0 contributionsCertainly not a VIP TripGot off to poor start as we were not picked up from our hotel as organised. We took a taxi to the harbour to join the cruise, fortunately the journey was only 15 minutes. On the boat all the seats were taken so our only choice was to sit on sun beds with no distance between them. There was no protection from the sun. We had to stand to avoid the sun where we could. There were far too many passengers for all to have proper seating, food was mediocre and cold. In fairness the cruise was enjoyable but the logistics throughout meant this cruise could never be described as a VIP experience.Written 7 November 2024

- 307debbieg0 contributionsVIP ExperienceThis was truly a VIP experience, we were lucky enough to be picked up by the owner in a Mercedes, so from the start we felt like VIPs. The crew on the boat were very friendly, the buffet was lovely. With two swim stops there was a chance to have a dip in the sea, snorkel or use the kayaks. All round a great day and well worth booking.Written 6 November 2024
- Traveler002395331010 contributionsWorst transfer i have ever had. Would never use these again.Worst transfer i have ever had, absolutely disgraceful do they not think head with transfers? What a waste time and money. Tell us we have to wait over an hour because they split the transfers between other airlines and flights that are not due to land for over an hour, you have spent all day travelling then you get here and are told you have to wait for other flights to come in and if your not happy with it pay even more and make your own way after i had already paid for this! Absolutely disgraceful.Written 4 November 2024

- H7136MTkayd0 contributionsNot ‘Disabled Friendly’Limited enjoyment from this experience due to the limited facilities for disabled people. To enable us to access with a mobility scooter, my disabled family member had to get off the scooter and walk across the access ramp whilst two of the pirates carried the scooter up an step and along the ramp and into the ship. Access to the upper deck, where all the action was, was via a steep set of steps. Lunch was difficult to say the least, no gluten free bread option, sugar & dairy was in everything except the chicken, so unable to eat the majority of the lunch. We had enquired about buying a ‘no food’ ticket in advance and were told ‘there were plenty of food options to choose from’. Not true! Staff were helpful but the facilities for disabled and with good intolerances were lacking.Written 31 October 2024
- Andrea D0 contributionsBrilliant Cyprus Adventure! This really was the highlight of our holiday, and we would highly recommend..The highlight of our holiday! A full-on day of endless fun seeing interesting sites combined with a boat trip (and lovely lunch) made memorable by our lovely driver and tour guide, Rick. We even saw a turtle! Wow!! Rick couldn't do enough to ensure everyone's enjoyment. He is a great driver and drove us to fascinating places in his Land-rover Defender, which in itself was brilliant fun! He has such passion for his job and has impeccable local knowledge. We went to some spectacular places with lots of fab photo opportunities. We had an unforgettable, great day! Thanks so much to Rick...Written 29 October 2024

Our guide was an ex military South African. He'd lived in Cyprus for over 30 years and is a true lover of the island and the great outdoors.
His knowledge was beyond impressive and a true advocate of nature.
He was chatty, included everyone in conversations and put everyone at ease. The walks were awesome but done at a pace that you could talk and enjoy. It wasn't a march through a gorge, but an informative mini adventure.
I highly recommend this trip, our guide was outstanding.
If you do the English speaking tour (there are other language tours available) try and get the little South African guy........legend.

We were picked up at nerby hotel. Caravan took of after all the jeeps reported at first stop.
First part was visitin the gorg. Walk was easy enough that 5 year could manage it.
Second part was visit to the turtle nests and final part was skinny dipping at neighbouring bay.
If you like nature then this trip is for you, but if you hate dust then stay away.

We were able to visit some lovely places on this trip but it was let down by our driver and guide. Arrived 30 minutes late for the pick up and ignored the rule requiring him to wear a mask and gloves. Although we followed the itinerary we were not given the advertised amount of time at each place meaning the whole thing felt a bit rushed. Then the drive back across the mountain highway was uncomfortable. Our guide was obviously in a major hurry to get home and the speed was uncomfortable.
Glad we saw the beaches and gorge though

Thank you for your honest feedback, which we immediately discussed with our driver. It is true that there has been a delay in the pick up due to a quite big distance between the collection locations. Our sincere apologies for that. Our driver is an experienced guide and is fully licensed by the Ministry of Tourism. He has confirmed that he was wearing the face mask not only in accordance with applicable regulations but also for reasons of private health. Gloves are not mandatory but there are face masks and sanitizing liquids in every Jeep and at the disposal of the passengers. The itinerary was followed according to the program with even more time at each stop (1 hour at Avagas instead of the usual 40 minutes) because there were only 4 passengers (usually up to 10 people) in the Jeep. We regret that you did not fully enjoy the excursion but we hope, that you could still take some nice memories with you.

Nice trip, off-road with a real jeep (Landrover). Places were beautiful. Turtle sanctuary was disappointing, old building that was last maintained in 2013. It is volunteer work, but it is a pity that no one keeps track of it. Guide was friendly, but unfortunately not very exuberant in his story. Maybe not possible with a half-day tour.

We really enjoyed the jeep safari. We had a lot of fun with our driver Nick. He showed us several plants as well and took us save the way through Avakas Gorge. (for me the highlight of the tour). At Laras Beach there weren´t yet turtles, but it was a nice beach. The lunch was excellent and our visit of aphrodites bath was nice, too. In the end we went swimming at a wonderful beach.

We used a company called George's Safari and had an excellent day. In the jeep was only me and my wife plus 1 other couple so we had a very personalized tour and plenty of time to talk to and ask questions of our excellent guide Michael. We Stopped half way though the day and had a lovely lunch at a restaurant with a drink also included. Although there was a schedule for the day it was very fluid depending on what we actually wanted to see. I can not rate this trip enough and would have been sorely disappointed if I had not have taken it.

This day was the best of all week staying in Cyprus.
Our driver was a funny guy but also had a secure feeling while we were off-road with him.
We were sitting in the back part of the Jeep but it was perfect for this tour.
We have visited the Avakas Gorge went to Lara Bay... had enough coffee breaks could swim in the sea and went for a hiking to the gorge.
I liked it very much.

Hello, I am very keen to book. Just a few questions about the possibility of bringing a 8 month old baby on this trip. Myself and my girlfriend are fit people and will have a hiking baby carrier. But if you could give me some extra information about the actual hike and your opinion if its suitable. Also when booking and adding an infant would that mean the car will have a baby seat?
Thank you very much.:
