Overview
While in Malta, visit one of the country’s main attractions, Popeye Village, with this admission ticket and round-trip transport to and from your hotel. The theme park was built on the edge of Anchor Bay to be first used as the film set for the 1980’s musical production Popeye. Now it serves as place to go on boats rides, to sunbath, to bounce on water trampolines, and to meet Popeye, Olive Oyl, and their other friends. This attraction is fun for both families and solo travelers.
What to Expect
You'll be greeted by Popeye and his famous friends who will entertain you during the day by their diverse activities. Visitors can enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime filming experience with the animation crew where you can become a movie star for a day. Other attractions include: Santa's toy town, boat ride, water trampolines, sun bathing decks.
Popeye Village Malta, the film set of the 1980 musical production Popeye, is one of Malta's major tourist attractions. The film set was constructed in Anchor Bay during the last seven months of 1979.
To construct this authentic wooden village, tree trunk logs were brought from Holland, and wood shingles, used in the construction of the roof tops, were imported all the way from Canada. An international construction crew of 165 people consumed eight tons of nails and two-thousand gallons of paint to finish off this massive set.

Hi. We pre-booked before getting to Malta and we were picked up outside our hotel so I suppose it depends where you buy your tickets.
