Discover Iceland's most famous outdoor attractions on this half-day tour of the Golden Circle, which takes the stress out of planning transport with included hotel pickup and drop-off. You’ll travel between dispersed attractions with ease in a climate-controlled coach with Wi-Fi and interactive tablets, listening to guide commentary throughout. This is the perfect way to witness Iceland's scenic highlights if you've got limited time.
What to Expect
After a morning pickup from your Reykjavik hotel, you'll travel in style on a bus with Wi-Fi access and GPS sensitive tablets with audio commentary. A guide provides commentary during the bus journey.

The tour starts at UNESCO World Heritage Site, Thingvellir National Park. Here you can see where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates have pulled apart and created a rift valley: its an amazing place to take photos of Iceland's largest lake and enjoy panoramic views.

Next you'll stop off at Geysir Hot Springs, where you'll witness the world-famous erupting Strokkur Geyser. If you're hungry, you'll be able to pick up snacks and drinks from shops here.

Finally, you'll head to the stunning Gullfoss Waterfall. The two-tiered waterfall cascades down 104 feet (32 meters) and roars as the water hits the glacial lake at the base.

Your day finishes with a drop-off at your hotel.

GullFoss the Golden Waterfall in Iceland

GullFoss is byfar the biggest and most amazing waterfall in Iceland. Fortunately I could fly my drone to make aerial view of the waterfall and the river valley and the video looked gorgeous because we could see more than a camera could see.

Tour not the length we expected

Although the tour was ok, we thought it would be only 6 hours, but that tour no longer existed. Local guide was great. We especially enjoyed the discussion about the Teutonic Plates. Unfortunately it was rainy and foggy for the second half of tour.More
