The Golden Circle Direct trip was pure gold!
This was an absolutely incredible tour with Sigurdur Albert; he really was the nicest man, and is an unbelievably knowledgeable tour guide! Iceland is a simply stunning country, with so much to see, I had such a short amount of free time during a work trip, but Albert went above and beyond to make sure we really made the most of the 6 1/2 hours! What an experience, making memories I will never forget! Thank you!!

      Long but very fun
This tour was long, about 11 and a half hours, so be ready for a full day. With that being said, this trip was epic. My wife and I truly didn’t know what we were getting into but seeing the beauty of the west side of the country was spectacular. The bus was clean and roomy and our tour guide, Dori, was top-notch. The guy was very knowledgeable and was like an Icelandic text book in all the best ways. Highly recommend this tour!

      Great for the bones
We were excited to go to the spa. It was an interesting experience and our bones enjoyed the time spent in the water. The views were great we stayed until sunset. A must do when in Iceland!

      Fantastic 😍
The tour was amazing, from the very start till the very end, thanks to our guide Dylan. We could feel how much he loves his homeland and this went to our favour. Stunning views, amazing places to bring forever in our heart. Absolutely loved it.

      Highly recommended
The trip was fantastic, with so many amazing sights and things to experience. Bjarni and Fabian were brilliant, and managed to make the journey both informative and fun over such a long day. We would definitely recommend the South Shore Adventure and Reykjavík Excursions after today. Worth every penny. Thank you to all involved!

      Truly memorable.
Snowmobiling absolutely fabulous. Guide ( Dylan) was the best ever. Just the right amt of engaging information. He advised about a tour ( last one of the season) for the northern lights the same evening. We saw the most incredible displays in the sky. Thank you Dylan!

Perfect trip if you have little time
An excellent trip that takes you to a number of key sites. Very well organised and run on time. Sufficient time allocated at most of the sites, felt extra time at Thingvellir National Park would be beneficial. Tour guide Bjeni was very informative and gave an insight to live in Iceland past and present.

      Breathtaking day out
Wonderful view of the snow capped mountains as we drove to see the Tomato greenhouses, do try the tasty soup and bread and stop to stroke horses too. Onwards to see the geyser, what a joy to witness nature at its best. Worth climbing the hill to get the wider view. Onwards to the Gullfoss waterfall, wow, absolutely beautiful. Enhanced by the snow and ice still there in April. Breathtaking, Finally to the Thingvellir National park, the guide brought the area to life, he was so knowledgable, we could picture the scenes he described. Fascinating to see the location of the first parliament. Fun to stand on both the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. Fabulous trip, value for money, take snacks for the coach trip.

      Amazing, reliable company
We went to Iceland literally for 24h and booked an afternoon Golden Circle tour with this company - we couldn’t recommend these people highly enough. The bus was on time, very warm and comfy, with free WiFi (which we didn’t really used as the views from the window were spectacular). The guide Margaret and the driver Lucas looked after us very well, were very informative and friendly, we’d learn so much about the island. We visited the Geiser, the beautiful Gulfoss Waterfall and a place where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet - so interesting, you could literally walk between two continents. The tour was an excellent value for money, if we are ever (hopefully) back on the Island, we will book more tour with them.

      Great Experience!
A great experience and a wonderful way to see The Golden Circle, especially if you’re solo travelling. The tour guide, Hoskuldur, was friendly, information and funny. Would definitely use for future tours.

      Best guide in iceland
Albert was kind and welcoming from day 1 all the way to the end. He’s incredibly well informed about every little detail about Iceland and it’s history and was constantly giving us information about where we were. Very patient and understanding as well

      Unparalleled
The tour was efficiently organised from start to finish! The guide, Einar Bjarnason, was extremely competent and we loved his stories about the sites and local culture. The highlights were the waterfalls, views of the glaciers and of course Diamond Beach and the Glacier Lagoon. We will be back to Iceland to do more tours and activities with Reykjavik Adventures.

One of the highlights of our holiday. We took the option from Reykjavik and were expecting to see a few waterfalls at different places en route but the waterfalls mentioned are all in one location. The trip to the ice cave was the highlight. Very knowledgeable guides and the windy stop felt like you had been dropped at the North Pole.

The ice cave itself was really enjoyable and historical.

We booked this tour in the knowledge the weather was not going to be favourable but also in the knowledge that the main part of the day is inside.

The ice cave tour is not conducted by Reykjavík Excursions but by the operators of the cave their knowledge is good and the tour is of a good length. Reykjavík Excursions drive you there and back a good four hour round trip driving. We stopped for lunch and refreshments as well as two short sightseeing stops along the way. With a lot of rain we were glad these we short. Our driver guide Sveni was warm and knowledgeable and a very capable driver as the road to the ice cave/glacier base camp is certainly not for cars or the inexperienced driver! This is before we transferred to a monster truck!

We were picked up on time and after transferring to Sveni we left on time from the BSI before being dropped off by Sveni at our hotel.

Due to the roads they usually only use a minibus so not a huge group either!

Well worth the money as it is certainly a long drive and the ice cave is a unique experience!

The transportation was on time and efficient. The tour guides, both on the bus to the base camp and on the glacier it self, were informative, engaging and humorous. Made several interesting stops along the way to and from the glacier. Tour guides provided an appropriate amount of information and interaction but did not over do it.

My husband, sister and I went on this tour in late May. Our tour guide, DeeDee, was absolutely fantastic. Not only did we learn about each spot we stopped at, but we got a full history lesson on Iceland and a lesson on modern day Iceland. DeeDee was so bubbly and passionate. It was my husbands first time seeing snow, so it was going to be great no matter what. The bus and terrain truck were both very comfortable. My husband and sister didn't have snow boots but they provided boot covers for them for free at the rest stop which was a great thing. Note: you should at least wear sneakers under the boot covers for comfort. I highly recommend the Into the Glacier tour to anyone looking to see as much as possible in a day - geothermal springs, waterfalls, the countryside, and the glacier.

Again, huge thank you to DeeDee for making our experience top-notch.

The ice cave on this tour, as well as the closed in truck ride to get to the ice cave is a must see for anyone travelling to Reykjavik. It is not inexpensive but this is one to spend your money on. I have never seen such beauty. Ice is not just ice... there are some many qualities of ice and you see it all on this tour. The guides that walk you through the ice cave are well informed and pleasant. Absolutely one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen in my lifetime. I plan to go back to Iceland for its beauty and even though I have now done this tour, it would definitely be something I would do again.
