Copenhagen Canal Tour
From US$13.65
Enjoy views of Copenhagen from on board a boat navigating the city's famous canals. Learn about the city's highlights through a guide's commentary as you travel, gleaning little-known facts about the Danish capital. Highlights include Christianshavn, Copenhagen Opera House, the famous Little Mermaid Statue, and Amalienborg Palace.
What to Expect

Book your preferred departure time. Cruises leave throughout the day, making it easy to fit this tour into your schedule.

Step aboard, sit on the deck or inside the saloon, and then relax and enjoy the ride. Traveling the canals allows you to cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time and get different views and photo angles than you would if traveling by land. You’ll pass must-see highlights, such as Amalienborg Palace, Copenhagen Opera House, the cobblestone-paved Christianshavn neighborhood, the island of Slotsholmen, the Old Stock Exchange, and the spires of the Church of Our Savior. As you travel, listen to engaging commentary from the guide, covering topics from ancient history to modern culture; walk away with knowledge and little-known facts that you otherwise would not be privy to.

Customize the end of your tour by choosing drop-off in either Gammel Strand or Nyhavn.

Great way to spend an hour

A lovely way to spend an hour looking at the sites from the water. Lots of walking to do in Copenhagen so this is a relaxing and fun way to hear information about the historical sites.

By land and by sea

Once you've seen Copenhagen by land, it's nice to top it off with a boat tour. We were able to see more things that our walking tour did not. The guide was knowledgeable and helpful.

Go to Nyhavn or Ved Strand stop and buy ticket on site. Boats run about every half hour.
