      A Wonderful Rhodes Experience
We were in Rhodes on a cruise ship. The crew was amazing, making sure everyone was taken care of. The food throughout the day was very good ( coffee and donuts for brunch, a bbq greek lunch and waffles with chocolate fir an afternoon snack). There was always something ready to drink. They described the history of Rhides when we departedand provided information about each of the bays. We had a lot of fun swimming and jumping off the ship.

5/5 loved the whole experience! The host was lovely, and entertaining. Beautiful and tasty refreshments. Definitely worth the money. We did come back exhausted from all the swimming but to experience the crystal clear waters of Faliraki through a boat tour 🐠 10/10

      Symi sunset trip Worthwhile trip
Symi is absolutely gorgeous! This trip is definitely worth doing. We got a transfer from Faliraki, but did have to wait around an hour out in the heat to board the boat. Bring plenty of water in a flask to stay cool! Choose your seats wisely- we were in the spot where all the waves splashed in and we got soaked ( back left of lower deck) wish we'd got seated sooner to get an upper deck seat. On return to the boat from symi, get there early to get a good seat. Don't expect too much from the sunset as it sets behind you but they do stop to turn to show you the sun setting. Sunset was beautiful and nice and cool on return journey (still a bit splashy!) Would absolutely recommend this trip.

      Highlight of our holiday
My boyfriend and I went on the 3 hour evening cruise. Once onboard and seated there's a brief introductory from a crew member. We sailed and stopped for an hour giving everyone the opportunity to swim in the sea. ( snorkel and goggles available onboard ). Unlimited drinks and tasty bbq. Sailed back to the port while watching the sunset was magical. Crew onboard are incredibly welcoming and friendly. Definitely the most memorable experience from our holiday.

Great trip to Symi with fun boat ride
Kolitari to Symi (via Rhodes port) fast boat trip with good swim in St George Bay. A fabulous trip with considerate staff. Really enjoyed Symi & certainly worth the 2 1/2 hours on the boat to get there. Highly recommended.

      Kolymbia to Rhodes town harbour
Great service high speed pick up which is really good they get you on board then sort the money while on the move no time wasting. I did the Kolymbia to Rhodes town when arriving in Rhodes town they hold boards up with the time they are picking you up so there is no confusion

      Amazing and worth the money!!!
I took the boat trip with my husband and had an amazing time! We stopped at 3 bays which were all beautiful and got about an hour in each one. The food was delicious and the staff could not have been nicer! They created these cocktails which were lush! There were some kids on board and the staff really involved them which was nice. Music on and relaxing what more could you ask for! We have been on many boat trips in Europe and this has been our favourite by far!

      Fantastic boat trip
Went on this trip today and we are so impressed so had to do a review. The staff were lovely. Regular really good food to keep you going. The homemade doughnuts were delicious. The spots they pick for you to swim are stunning. Plus the option to get a jet ski on last stop. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day. It went to quickly. Would highly recommend and would love to do it again if we are ever back in rhodes. Thank you for a great time

      Whats not to like
A great 6 hours tour on east side of Rhodos. Every thing was very well organized. Starting even before boarding the ship. Three stop for swimming, each on a nice location. (The water is a little warmer here, compered with the temperature at the beach In Rhodos town) We would like to do it again, if we come back to Rhodos again.

      Boat trip
It was pleasant boat trip to 3 bays where we were snorkeling and enjoying the area. It was okay also for not great swimmer as me, we got floating foam sticks, also snorkeling gear. Great visibility in the water. We also liked the historical vibe of the boat. It was worth it if you want to enjoy the sea from different perspective.

      Best part of our trip
Got the bus to the meeting point. Easy check in. Unlimited drinks inc water and juice. Friendly staff who were informative at each stop and fun! Sat upstairs under shade but still caught the sun. It does get hot but the swim stops were great , you can use ladder or jump off all parts the boat. Lots of snorkeling equipment and noodles Fed the whole trip and had plenty! Went with teens and they enjoyed. Would recommend and go again!!

Fantastic value for money, so glad we chose to go the beautiful island of Symi great time had.

Even better we choose the fast boat! We was at the harbour very early anyway and saw the slow boat leave an hour before us, we then caught it and passed it.

A large part of the trip is open sea and nothing to look at and with a 9 and 11 year old keeping them entertained with no WiFi is a challenge at the best of times. So the fast boat was the best decision. Be warned it is fast an on our way back there was a head wind and we had great fun imagining being blown off if we dared go to the toilet!

We did stop to swim at St George’s Bay this is where we caught the slow boat. But there was a large tide, which our captain said we’ve got enough time and speed to take us to the other side of the island to a calmer spot which we did in the afternoon on the way back.

Crew was fantastic offering fleece jackets when it was a little breezy with the speed of the boat. We all sat in swim wear after being in the sea and it wasn’t cold but thought the offer for some older or younger passengers was a great gesture.

PS… would recommend being sat under the cover as you don’t notice the sun with the wind, we all burnt and was sat under the cover on the top deck.

PPS… I’d also sit on the top deck as on the way back the sea was a little rougher and we got wet on the top deck from a wave!

PPPS… hats or any thing loose take them off and put them in your bag as they will be gone, we was going that fast on the way back my wife and the kids were pretending they where on a rollercoaster and seeing who dared to keep there arms up in the air the longest! We even thought we saw someone’s false teeth blow away (it was a piece of paper) which highly amused the kids and my wife

All in all the it’s a relaxing fun experience and if our kids where younger too I’d take them on this boat as it’s a long day on the fast boat we was all wiped out. I couldn’t imagine what you felt like after the slow boat.

Hope you have a great time like we did

Superb day out to see the beautiful island of Symi, plus the gorgeous cove of St George’s where we had a refreshing splash in the sea.
It was well worth getting the speed boat, journey is literally an hour each way, plus the 3hrs we had in Symi was just the right amount of time.
Plenty of gift shops and tavernas to visit, plus a really nice walk along to the coastal point.
Boat Staff very friendly and helpful.
We are staying in Ialysos, which is about 10mins outside of Rhodes Town and they supplied a taxi to pick us up and drop us off again.
Couldn’t complain about anything - fabulous day. Highly recommended.

We booked it as heard good things about Symi and fancied a day out. The boat ride was quick and smooth, just as advertised. I recommend getting to the boat boarding much earlier than they say as it forms quite a queue to board and if you are at the back your choice of seat would be very limited. Symi itself was a little disappointing. Just lots of shops selling the same things and not a great deal to see or do. Lots of restaurants but nothing you wouldn't find in Rhodes itself. Very hot as well due to being no breeze at that part of the island it definitely felt hotter than it was! You don't need very long in Symi at all so you definitely get plenty of time. The highlight for me was the swimming in St. George's bay! It was amazing and the water was incredible. It would be good if they gave you a bit longer here as it felt like they were very quick to get you out and back on the boat.
Would I do it again? Probably not. I would probably look at booking a boat tour to different coves on the island for swimming instead.

Had a lovely time today, some boats take almost 4 hours to get to Symi from Rhodes town so this boat is immediate first choice because it does it in under an hour, it's got racy seats that are comfortable and benches down stairs if you prefer. The boat goes fast enough to mean that even in hottest weather the breeze would cool you down. Advise bridging a hoody with you if like today it is 25c and sunny although the crew offer you fleece jackets if you forget. The crew also equip you with a plastic rain smock just in case. There's no food or drink for sale on board but there are loads of shops near the departure point and it's only an hour anyway right? Where the boat docks you are faced with an array of local restaurants all ready to feed you.
You get a solid 3 hours in Symi, enough to walk all around the harbour and then have a lazy lunch as we did but there's probably also time to rent a scooter and have a buzz round the island.
On the return leg the boat stops at the beautiful St. George's bay so you can have a swim for 30 mins if you like, if not (we didn't) there are still plenty of interesting things to look at from the boat, can you spot the Greek flag up the cliff? How did that get there?
We had a great day, saw a beautiful little town and were back in time for tea, very civilised indeed.

The boat ride across to Symi was lovely - a delightful breeze throughout and very comfortable seats on the top deck.

There was a bit of confusion before boarding about where to stand, where to queue etc and this caused unnecessary stress - some signs or someone organising the queues would have helped.

Once on board there were no safety briefings, no announcements of any kind, no helpful suggestions of what to do in Symi once we arrived. There was literally someone holding up a sign when we got off the boat saying ‘be back 10 minutes before we leave’. It is important to think about what you are going to do while you are on the island as this trip does not give you enough time to get a water taxi to one of the sandy beaches but leaves a lot of time wandering around Symi harbour in the heat.

On the way back the boat stopped off at St George’s Bay so we could get off and swim. This was amazing - so beautiful. Again no safety briefing and no counting people on and off the boat. If someone had been left behind I am not sure they would have noticed unless a friend or partner had flagged it up.

Overall this was a lovely experience but there needs to be more attention to detail, safety and customer service.

Note: booking via getyourguide be aware there are two options which are exactly the same but one is £10 more expensive. Better to book a place and pay on the day for €45. Coach to take us to the boat was on time and staff were helpful at Faliraki harbour. Unfortunately the boat was 40 minutes late to the pick up point and not "direct" as advertised, because we needed to change at Rhodes. The lady at the beach was not able to help, telling us it would only be 10 minutes late. The second boat was identical and was already half full by the time we arrived meaning we were not able to get any good seats. This cut our time in Symi by about 20 minutes which was a shame as it was a beautiful town with a lot to explore. The bay is nice to swim in but nothing spectacular, more interesting to swim on Karatha beach instead and I would recommend instead choose the Monestery option. You were not allowed to swim too far from the boat to explore the bay properly. Still a good trip worth doing if it runs on time.

Booked this through Trip Advisor, no problems at all. Picked up at our hotel in Kalithea (not listed on areas they pick up from but only 10 mins from Rhodes), taken to the boat, checked in and got our ticket, the boat was busy looking we were towards the back which was sheltered but very noisy with the engine. Its an hour to Symi, which is absolutely stunning, very picturesque, lots of places to eat. We queued 15 mins early on way back and sat upstairs which was much nicer, not so noisy, and could see everything. The swim stop on return leg was amazing, crystal clear blue waters, well worth it. The shuttle bus parks on other side of the road past the bank, we were last to find it! A great day out, good value for the money.

This excursion is one of the best and should not miss this one. Symi is neighboring island, which is memorable thanks to is beauty. Small island, easy to walk and lovely place to stroll from the small bay to the small streets higher.

After symi we visited st George bay, a small beach accessible only by boat. Beautiful water and beach.

The crew of the boat is efficiently doing their job and are very polite all the time.

One of the must do’s in Rhodes

We had a wonderful day trip to Symi on board this craft and were so pleased we chose the fast boat. We were picked up from our hotel in Kalithea just after 10 a.m. & returned around 5 p.m. The crossing to Symi was exhilerating on the upper deck & we even saw dolphins on the outward crossing. We were offered complimentary fleeces to wear if anyone felt a little chilly. We had nearly 3 hours on the beautiful island and were then whisked over to St George's Bay for a delighful 20 minute swim stop off. Would recommend this as a value for money day out.

The speed boat to Symi was nice, we arrived quick at Symi , unlike other boat trips where it took more than 2 hours to get somewhere. The 3 hours was just the right amount of time to explore Symi. The stop at the most beautiful Sint George bay was refreshing and astonishing. The staff was nice and friendly.
Overall it is the perfect trip if u want to explore Symi without being gone for too long, so you have plenty of time over.
