Athens and Santorini were amazing. The first thing for you to consider is the amount of walking upstairs and elevations.
When you travel from Athens to Santorini, there are inner island flights. We used Sky Express. Please know that what the charge is for the weight of your luggage, and just know this is a money making opportunity for them. If your bags go, they will need to come back. It was $70 going over and $176 coming back. All the solvent were in my back pack.
We had a party of 8 (4 couples) of course our meal tickets are separate. Please let them know this upfront. They have a new rule coming in December. We flew out on a Friday and with the time change, we arrived the next afternoon in Athens. It was a wonderful location at the Grand Hyatt. I think this hotel has a drainage problem as the showers quickly over flow. It was an easy 20 minute walk to the shopping district Monastiraki. We used mostly cash va using credit cards.
I felt safe. English was widely spoken. And don’t forget to try the Ouzo!

I found the show really interesting, it is a great opportunity to experience the greek wedding customs, participating in them! The actors and the musician were great, friendly, funny and moving when needed. The place vryssaki is an authentic traditional old house in the center of athens,operating as cafe as well. Don't miss it!

A very fun and interesting interactive experience, fully immersive into the greek "philoxenia" and various pre-wedding traditions. All of the actors do an amazing job creating a perfect atmosphere that truly makes you feel part of the "family", gives some good laughs and leaves you with a bittersweet happiness.
