Sara was informative, fun and entertaining. Was disappointed with transport vehicle however, very cramped conditions for 8 people plus driver. Was expecting a roomier minibus. Spectacular scenery of the Douro Valley. Lunch was delicious and also entertaining. A recommended way to spend a day in the stunning Douro Valley

We enjoyed our experience greatly! Traveling during the off season left us in a small group and let us have a very personal experiences at the vineyards sometimes being the only people there. I suggest wearing layers as the tastings we often in underground cellars that were quite cold. However, Pedro our driver, did explain it was an unusual cold for January. Pedro our driver and guide was great, very knowledgeable and passionate about Portugal. This was a fun day that resulted in lots of learning and lots of wine!

Pedro and victor were absolutely incredible, had the best day ever! From the sightseeing to the food the day was outstanding! Joao hosted the most amazing meal and was so welcoming! Would highly recommend and would 10000% do it again! Thank you so much for the experience of a lifetime!

Rita was a lively guide. Funny, energetic, open to discussing anything brought up on the tour! I was lucky with a sunny day and it was a really easy way to do a day trip out of Porto and see the surrounds.

This Porto to Aveiro day trip was hands down the best city tour of my traveling adventures so far! At 53 countries and counting l’ve seen and heard the good, the bad and the ugly of tour guides. Joao and Andre are a dynamic duo of knowledge, wit and humor that made the hour drive to Aveiro a memorable learning experience. It’s very rare to interact with Europeans that understand, comprehend and give back American sarcasm, but these two are a true Class Act! I can’t wait for my next trip to Portugal to book with them again.

This was a Xmas gift from my son and his fiancé. It was a wonderful day despite the pouring rain that was happening the first part of the trip. Thankfully the rain let up and we had some nice weather to see the wineries. All 3 were amazing. I think that the 5 stars for this tour was because of Rita, our tour guide. First, she’s an amazing driver. Second, she has great tidbits of information and doesn’t overload you with knowledge. Third, she has a great sense of humour. I highly recommend this tour- this time of year there are NO crowds and you risk the weather not being great, but you still enjoy the same places, wines and ports.

Our guide, Ricardo, was amazing! We had the best orientation to Porto on this tour. Since we only had 24 in the city, it was really wonderful. We learned so much, and Ricardo was nice and funny.

Great tour through the Douro valley. We visited 3 wineries and had a tasty lunch at the last one. Our guides Sara and Juliana know all about the wines of the Douro region and were very nice. Highly recommended!

We traveled in a brand new van, led by Sara and Fontes (apologies if I have the names wrong). They were full of interesting information and history. And, seemed to genuinely like each other. We made an early extra stop for coffee, which was appreciated!! The two wineries we saw were wonderful!! Each docent was informed and patient!! Tastings were outstanding!! Sara was able to change our third winery tour to a boat tour because the weather was so good. I would highly recommend this tour and each of our guides!! It was a perfect way to see the Douro Valley and learn of its history. Definitely 5 stars!

Our tour guide Vitor was super knowledgeable and answered any questions we had. We were a small group, so the timing worked out perfectly. Wine tasting was nice and food for lunch tasted good.

We had a lovely day with Pedro. He was an excellent guide and very knowledgeable about many topics without talking too much. The country side is spectacular and the wine delicious. The vehicle was clean and comfortable.

Juliana and Sara were wonderful guides! We stopped at two very good wineries—both were small and family-owned. Lunch was delicious Portuguese food. The boat cruise was scenic and a good way to break up the day. The tour was well-organized and they picked us up in a brand new Mercedes van! Lovely company and a very good value for the money. Highly recommend!

Vitor was great! We had a wonderful time on the tour. Vitor was very knowledgeable and personable. We enjoyed our time very much!
