A Super Tour. Luis proved to be the guide we hoped for when we booked. A full fact filled day with Luis providing such interesting anecdotes that the time just flew by. We hated to see it end. No Map tours! A+++

We wanted the convenience and comfort of a private driver to get from Lisbon to Porto. In the course of our research, we realized we could also work in a stop for lunch and a side trip or two to visit points of interest. We fortunately found No Map Tours. Perfect! Our driver, Luis Oliveira, was at the hotel on time (actually got there early as a precaution). He was professional but also very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. The itinerary was left open for us to decided what we wanted to see and do. Lunch was reserved for us due to our travel day being a holiday and restaurants being unusually busy. We had the option, though, of choosing an alternative if we wanted. We didn’t change and were very pleased. All in all, a great ride and a great day.

We traveled with Luis from Lisbon to Porto and then back again several days later. Luis was incredibly informative and a pleasure to be with. We stopped in Obidos and Nazare on the way North and in Coimbra on the way back. He guided us for where to go, helped identify outstanding restaurants, and provided other useful suggestions for our time in Portugal. He also does day tours and we were sorry we didn't have more time with him.

It was a day filled with unique architecture, interesting history, and culinary delights. Sandra was a fount of knowledge, and her driving skills are awesome. If getting a car in and out of tight parking spaces was an Olympic skill, Sandra would be a gold medalist. The food was memorably good, from the morning lactose-free pastry to the amazing seafood lunch by the ocean. Thank you, Sandra, for a fantastic tour.

My custom tour of Cascais was expertly carried out by Sandra. I enjoyed my visit to the market, the Boca do Inferno, the Condes de Castro Guimarães house museum, the Casa de Santa Maria, and the lighthouse. Despite a very restorative lunch at a Portuguese restaurant, and a delicious lactose-free ice-cream, I did not have the stamina to fully explore the Museu do Mar Rei Dom Carlos I, and I needed to take a nap instead of going to the Citadela de Cascais artisan centre. I loved hearing Sandra’s stories about the unique houses in and around Cascais, and their famous (or infamous) occupants, and learning about the history of the area. Sandra’s driving was impeccable, and I felt very safe in her vehicle. Also, my thanks to Sandra for an unscheduled, early-morning stop at the Tower of Belem, which I had missed seeing the day before due to over-crowding. I thoroughly recommend both Sandra and No Map Tours.

We spent an amazing day with Luis at Pena Palace, Cabo da Roca, in Sintra and Cascais. Luis’ knowledge of the history, stories, and details of these areas is unmatched. He was such an incredible guide and was sure to help us explore a few gems off the beaten path. He is so kind, friendly and has an amazing energy! He even helped us select the perfect spot for lunch. Fantastic! Sandra was a fabulous guide; friendly, cheerful and incredibly knowledgeable! The Palace was extraordinary and wonderful! In Caiscais we had a delicious lunch and a lovely wonder around the town and along the seafront. Loved it!

A wonderful day. Luis Olivieros was our driver and guide for the day. He provided a fantastic experience for us. We appreciated how accommodating he was with our wishes. A second fabulous day with Sandra! Given the crowds that flock to Sintra, having an enthusiastic, knowledgeable and organized guide was invaluable. All of our questions were answered well in advance of our travels, and a custom itinerary allowed us to fit in all that we were interested in. Our tour with Sandra and No Map Tours was amazing! She picked us up at the cruise port on time..early actually. She took us to some incredible sites and was very good at explaining all the history! We learned a lot! The tarts in Belém were delicious and we are so thankful we were able to try them. You can’t go wrong booking with No Map Tours.

Cannot say enough great things about this tour. Highly highly recommend Luis! He was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. As many people noted in other reviews— I felt like we were one step ahead of the crowds (which is legit no joke…so so many people) to where we were just getting out as hoards of people were coming in. Luis is so knowledgeable about the history and felt like we could appreciate everything so much more knowing the background. We started the day at the Pena Palace, then had plenty of time to grab a pastry and the cherry liquor that Luis recommended in historic Sintra. Then we headed to the most western edge of Europe which was an amazing view. After that we went to Cascais which was picturesque and had a fantastic lunch at a spot that Luis recommended. The entire day felt well organized but not rushed. This tour is a must do from Lisbon and made our experience in Lisbon that much better. Will recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Lisbon!
