I don't usually write reviews, but I think this tour was good enough to deserve my praise. This was so much fun and a great way to experience Lisbon. Our guide was fun, friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us a great local's view. She was able to tell us about history, nightlife, art, food, architecture, economy, and anything else we wanted to know. She showed us different neighorhoods with some great stops for food and drinks. I really recommend every visitor do this tour as their first morning in Lisbon.

A fun and informative way to get a feel for Lisbon, its geography, history and food culture.
All the food stops were good, with tasty examples of key local specialities, but without overdoing it. The fish lunch at the end was delicious.
Our guide, Luis, was able to keep the whole group engaged and involved, and he had plenty of good recommendations to make the most of our few days in the city.
A highly recommended way to start your visit to Lisbon

This was a very good introduction to Portuguese cuisine and Lisbon. We were extremely lucky to have Pedro Osono as our guide. His passion for Lisbon shines through and he really goes out of his way to ensure everyone in his group has a great time and gets the maximum out of the experience. The fish restaurant at the end was a treat. Really worth the time and money, highly rated. Pedro is a true professional ... I will go with him any time.

This was a great food tour and experience. There were 4 stops with plenty of food: We had pastries and coffee, cheese and port, beer, and seafood and rice. The tour included plenty of walking and checking out sites as well as a quick ferry ride. Everything was delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed spending the morning with Miguel.

I can thoroughly recommend this walking tour. I have visited Lisbon many times before and always enjoyed it, but this tour takes you off the beaten track and you discover parts of Lisbon you have never visited before. Our guide Pedro was wonderful and explained about the culture, the food and drink, and the history of Lisbon.

We have experienced over a dozen food tours all over the world. Great way to both see the city through the back alleys and experience its local culture. The guides make a big difference and Joanna was one of the best, which also made this tour one of the best. Don't miss this while you are in Lisbon.

Amazing job by Luis Pena! My group of 6 booked through Airbnb. It was great to get history through a Local’s eyes and get some tips for the rest of our trip. We had a good balance of samples of food and drinks. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. It was from 1030-230 so it was a good part of the day.

Many thanks to Miguel for this super food tour in Lisbon! it was really excellent, with lots of explanations about food and the city. Immersed in the Lisbon culture, we had a great cultural and culinary moment! This visit was very interesting and rich in discovery. We did not see the 4 hours pass. In any case, do not hesitate to book this tour! You will not regret it !!!

We did this four hour walking tour with Joana Mateus who made Lisbon come alive to see how the locals live and eat in Lisbon.
Joana took us to places tourists would never see and food experiences only enjoyed by the local inhabitants. Expresso coffee, custard and white bean tarts, cheese with quince jam, regional port, beer on a roof top, a Ginginha (cherry liqueur in a chocolate cup) to a sea food feast where some of the gastronomic delights enjoyed on the walking tour.
Along with interesting shops like; the oldest bookstore and the smallest glove shop where just some of the interesting attractions the normal tourist would not see.
However the historic information Joana shared with the small group of nine was interesting and informative.
This is a must do active whilst in Lisbon.
