The magical landscapes of Sintra are reminiscent of a fairy tale. Maximize your time among Sintra’s UNESO-listed monuments on a full-day trip from Lisbon. Alongside a guide, you’ll marvel at the colorful architecture of Pena Palace, absorb the charm of Sintra Village and admire sweeping vistas from Europe’s westernmost point, Cabo da Roca. En route back to Lisbon, you’ll stop at the quaint fishing village of Cascais to enjoy its coastal splendor. Round-trip transportation from your Lisbon hotel is included.

What to Expect
This day starts with the pick up at your hotel or place of staying with a huge smile from our guides if your are ready is time to get on the road and head to Sintra. After this, is time to head to one of the most mystical and beautiful places in Portugal - Sintra and the Pena Palace. Considered to be one of the ex- libris and wonders of Portugal, it was visited by the famous compositor Richard Strauss who said: “ …Today is the most beautiful day of my life. I’ve been in Italy, Greece and Egypt and this is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen, this is the true garden of Klingsor and right there on the top is the castle of holy grail…”

We will then descend to the village of Sintra where you will have time for a short walk to enjoy the views of old houses, now converted in small quaint handicraft shops and traditional pastry shops. After this visit we will stop at the beach for our deserved lunch break on a beautiful scenery spot watching the waves breaking on shore and maybe if it is your which having a walk on the beach. Surprise places to stop for sightseeing after our visit in Sintra.

After this is time for us get back on the road and head to Cabo da Roca to visit the most western point of Europe, a place where you will experience the true power of sightseeing and since it is time to head back to Lisbon, we are going to take a drive along one of the most beautiful coastal roads in our beloved country the “Marginal” passing by Cascais, Estoril with time to visit the amazing Fisherman village of Cascais. After Cascais we will drive back to your centrally located accommodation hoping that you had a magnificent day that stay in your memories for long time.
