Nibble a Portuguese codfish cake alongside some vinho verde, a refreshing green wine. Next, head to a Bairro Alto wine bar for tapas and a glass of local white wine. Excellent tour
My friends and I booked this tour of the south bank regions of the river with wine tasting trip with Inside Lisbon Tours and we were very happy with it - visited castles, beaches and two vineyards. Tony was an excellent tour guide and is a human walking encyclopaedia! We learnt a lot about Portugal and got to view and appreciate its beauty. Thank you very much! Excellent tour.

    Relaxing and Enjoyable Day
A lovely day, our guide was very personable and knowledgeable about the area. Saw a lot of beautiful scenery and visited two wineries with great tastings. Tour at JKF was very interesting and Quinta de Alcube was an amazing little winery. Very much recommend to get out of the city and enjoy some local wines.

A must do day excursion from Lisbon
Highly recommend this trip for a day excursion from Lisbon. They pick you up downtown in a very comfortable van with no more than 8 people on the tour. Our tour guide, Natalia, grew up in the area that this tour goes to and her knowledge and understanding of the culture and where we visited made the trip a memory never forgotten. Natalia was the best tour guide we ever had and a great since of humor and the way she explained and recommended where we go in the different areas made this a must see area and tour.

Small group tour that is worth it
This is a small group tour. You get picked up near the Hard Rock in downtown Lisbon. They then take you by passenger van to different sites. Fatima was large with a lot of religious significance. We expect it could be hot in the summer. Mass in English was going on. The tour also takes you to Obido. A small quaint town and other places to see. Certainly worth the day trip from Lisbon

Falling in love with Portugal once more
What a great day we had! Mar was knowledgeable and fun. The timing of the visits was just right. I recommend this day trip. It would have been very hard to achieve the visit to all those places in one day by myself. And I wouldn’t have had the historical knowledge without Mar. Small group tours are my favorite and my group had really nice people. Thank you, Mar, for being such a positive person and a great ambassador of a beautiful country..

    Fun in Lisbon
Our tour guide Natalia was awesome. She shared a tremendous amount of history and information about the area. She gave us great advise on restaurants and shops. Despite the rain and fog she expertly maneuvered the van so we could see all the sights. Enjoyed the trip!

It was our first day in Lisbon and our tour with Sebastian was the ONLY way to dive deeply into Lisbon. He is an incredibly friendly tour guide with such a welcoming spirit. Every spot that he took us to was perfect and we got the best samplers that Lisbon had to offer. He’s a natural storyteller and literally knows Lisbon like the palm of his hand. He knows all the views you MUST see in Lisbon and he has been the most hospitable tour guide. To many more alcohol soaked cherries! Thanks a million!

We chose this tour as it was a little less expensive than most of the others but don't let that put you off. Anna, our guide, was superb. There were 13 of us and she took us to 6 places that you would normally have walked past without a second glance. The food and the wine was delicious and gave us a real taste of the traditional Portugal. I would highly recommend this tour and as it was only 3 hours it didn't take out a whole morning/ afternoon which if you on a long weekend city break was perfect.

Marta was our guide and save your money and just go have nice meal somewhere. First stop was a small piece of cheese and a shot glass of port. Second stop a shot glass of the cherry liqueur, (could have bought for $1.50 euro) second stop in very crowded bar, small glass of very sweet green wine and fried cod cake ($3.75 euro,) then a pork sandwich that was good with small glass of beer and then to a restaurant definitely set up for large groups because they had back room with tables set for 20, one piece of cheese, 2 small shrimp, a roll, very pices of sausage and olives. No great info, very boring and again just go to any of the markets, etc and spend your money there.

Hello U8090TKlisap, It's not very common for us to have reviews questioning and complaining about the quantity of the food/drinks. On the contrary, usually, the feedback is that it's a quite generous quantity for a "gourmet" tasting. We don't know if you may have attended other tours in Lisbon or even food tours to consider that the info was not that interesting. However, we will be very attentive to future feedbacks regarding this question. Best regards,

Had a lovely experience of Lisbons local delicacies. Daniel our guide was excellent and not only gave us lots of historical information of the city and had a good knowledge of the foods but was able to answer any questions we threw at him.
As for the tour, I would be tempted to spread it out a little as most of the cafes/shops were close to each other so we had no sooner ate a cod fish cake, then a pork bap followed quickly by cheese and jam and cherry brandy, etc. A little space between courses would have been better. Overall a good experience

Our guide Ana Luisa was knowledgable and informative. The 4 of us booked this tour for our first day in Lisbon and are all glad we did. There were 12 people in total on our tour and this small group size meant that Ana Luisa could take us into a number of small and interesting places which we would not have found ourselves. This was a fun way to see around the city. If you are considering a food tour I can highly recommend giving this tour a try. Thanks Ana Luisa 😁

A fantastic evening spent with Margarida, our charismatic host with impeccable knowledge of Portuguese gastronomy and a local knowledge of the best eateries. She was able to point us towards places to try during the rest of our trip and was keen to make sure that we avoided the tourist traps. I would recommend this tour to anybody who enjoys learning about a city’s history through food, and as the tour happens in a relatively small footprint in the centre of the city it isn’t too taxing after a long day of exploring.

Traveling alone can be simpler and more efficient, but it can also be lonely. When visiting a new city, I often check ta for walking tours. Yesterday I joined the small group Food & Wine tour here in Lisbon. There were 11 of us Karma lead by horror guide Anna vicari. Anna is very knowledgeable and articulate, and she has perfected the art of Being personable without being overly personal. All in all, a terrific experience. What a great introduction to Portugal! Thanks, Anna and the Gang on our tour.

The tour was amazing. Our guide, Dani, was very polite, knowledgeable,” and funny! She took us to great spots with amazing food and wine of course! As we walked through the city of Lisbon she also told us the history behind some of the areas we were seeing. She also gave us a ton of recommendations for restaurants, bars etc. if you want to have a authentic Lisbon experience this tour is definitely worth it!

Would highly recommend this tour, especially if you want to learn more about the food culture in Lisbon, while getting to try the local delicacies. Marta was our guide and she did a brilliant job of taking us through the city and explaining the history behind the food we were tasting. It was also a great experience for meeting new people.

We had a blast on our food tour. Joana was so informative and entertaining. This is a must do when in Lisbon. We tried cod cakes, bifana, lots of meats and cheeses and had a toast with Ginginha overlooking the city. Joana gave us great recommendations for other restaurants and some great tips to use on our stay. She was Fabulous!!
