São Miguel West Full Day Tour with Setes Cidades Including Lunch
US$69.28
Overview
São Miguel’s west famously boasts a varied natural landscape, but seeing all it has to offer on a self-led tour can be difficult. Enjoy an itinerary that tours the region’s highlights, including Sete Cidades, Caldeira Velha, and Mosteiros, and marvel at the mountain, coastal, lake, and jungle views you’ll encounter throughout the trip. Travel across the rural landscape with ease, and relax with round-trip transport included.
What to Expect

Begin your day with hotel pickup from your centrally located Ponta Delgada hotel. Meet your guide and small group, board your transport vehicle and set off on your journey of São Miguel’s western region.

First, head to the pineapple greenhouses not far from Ponta Delgada. Savor their fresh scent and learn about Azorean cultivation methods, before travelling on to Sete Cidades. Explore the area’s natural landscape and take in island views from the Boca do Inferno and Vista do Rei viewpoints.

Stop in the Setes Cidades village for lunch, including drinks, dessert, and coffee. When replenished, continue to Mosteiros and discover its coastal cliffs, then onto Lake Fogo and Caldeira Velha to view their natural splendor. Finally, visit the Ribeira Grande town and view the largest beach in Azores. At the end of your tour, relax as you’re driven back to your hotel.
