The boat trip starts by heading out to the southeast and looking for marine wildlife, giving the opportunity to see a stunning offshore view of Terceira Island. A volcano formed this largest islet from Azores, and this is the nesting ground for several seabirds, such as the Cory's Shearwater, Common Tern, and Roseate Tern. Once you get close to the islet, information about the history, geology and species of the surrounding area will be shared. During the journey back, follow an inshore route, showing the variety of volcanic structures that form the cliffs of the island's shoreline. Tour ends back at the marina.
