- Cheketa0 contributionsHighlight of my Netherland’s trip!Let me first say that this is a full day of activities. Organizers and drivers were all pleasant. The tour included three stops: Tulip Farm (1.5 hours), Keukenhof Gardens (4 hours), and Windmill Cruise (1.5 hours). It was all delightful, but my favorite was the Tulip Farm. The tulips were endless. I’ve never seen colors that vibrant in my life! At the end of the day, I felt as though I’d gotten more than my money’s worth. This tour was the highlight of my Netherland’s trip.Written 14 June 2024

- lindajU1196AJ0 contributionsWonderful gardens and a "must see" if you're in Amsterdam at the right timeThe gardens were beautiful. We got there two days before the season closed, so some of the tulips were shot and had been deadheaded. Still, there was plenty of other flowers and tulips to see. The only complaint is that it was packed. We had to get tickets ahead of time and there was a limited number, so I thought it would be less crowded. We had problems getting a seat on the Keukenhof shuttle bus there, so we had to take an Uber and that cost us about $80 Euro. I enjoyed the ride there because some of the large, commercial buildings we saw along the way had amazing architecture.Written 2 June 2024
- marieryan4300 contributions“Field” a bucket list…seeing tulips in the NetherlandsLoved the gardens. The park was picturesque and the variety of the 800 tulips was beautiful. Buses run all day. The next day we went on another tulip trip to the large tulip fields in the north Both were gorgeous and I would recommend to do both!Written 2 June 2024
- Huddersfield500 contributionsFabulousFabulous day out. A word of warning… we took a taxi from central Amsterdam to the departure location It cost €75. On the way back, we were shown the free ferry which takes you to the main station, where a taxi to the hotel cost €25Written 31 May 2024
- danvX6084SC0 contributionsFlowers GaloreA great day trip from Amsterdam. The price includes a ticket into the gardens and a shuttle bus. Definitely worth the price. Having shuttle buses available several times every half hour to take you back allows for you to spend as much time as you want without being too rushed. Traffic was definitely heavy coming from Amsterdam. I would arrive as early as possible, because it gets busy quickly. The flower gardens were unbelievable beautiful, offering picturesque stops at every turn.Written 29 May 2024
- John R0 contributionsGorgeous! Don’t Miss! This place was absolutely gorgeous with the tulips in bloom. Who knew that there were so many varieties in so many colors…even a green flower! It’s hard to describe how beautiful it is but we thought that it rivaled Buchart Gardens in Victoria,BC. This was definitely at the top of our highlights in the Netherlands, so far. Remember, that we went in April, knowing that the tulips would be in full bloom at that time.Written 25 May 2024
- 164ernag0 contributionsBeauty in flowersWe walked at leisure and took our time to see this wonderful display of beautiful flowers. Money well spent. It is definitely worth going by bus as traffic is quite heavy getting there and back.Written 22 May 2024
- Beth P0 contributionsThe tulips are even prettier than you imagine. The location for getting on the bus was a short taxi ride for us from our hotel. It was raining off and on so we didn’t want to walk. They had plenty of instructions/signs where to line up, lots of employees processing everyone. The wait was not too bad, then you walk around the building to where the busses are parked. The drive took between 35-45 minutes. Buss lets you off in the same place you will be picked up, so that is clear. There is a short walk to where you get into the gardens. The Gardens were even better than I had imagined. We loved it all. We walked the whole area, stoping for a hot cup of chocolate at one point, then we had our lunch at their main restaurant. Lunch was pretty pricey, but good. We left right after lunch as it started to rain.Written 19 May 2024
- TheWiseGuy0 contributionsGreat trip to the Tulip Farm and the countrysideWe went in the first week of May which happens to be the end of the Tulip season. Although most of the Tulips were already harvested (there only about a quarter of the field left with Tulips), still our visit to the farm was nice. The owner gave us a great tour of the place and we learned lot about Tulips. We would love to go back to the farm earlier in the season to enjoy its beauty in its entire glory. Keukenhof was very crowded and bit over-hyped in my opinion. The cruise trip through the beautiful countryside was highlight of the tour. Weather was perfect and we could sit on the open decks on the top of the boat and we thoroughly enjoyed the trip.Written 15 May 2024
- V9390MXsallyw0 contributionsDisappointingWe went the last weekend it was on before closure. There were many beds of dead or dead headed tulips. The only tulips that were in bloom were ones in boxes that they’d brought in to compensate. We were all very disappointed. 3 hours I will never get back.Written 11 May 2024
- cartraveler10 contributionsA worthwhile and varied experienceWe enjoyed this tour very much! The drive isn’t too far from the city to the tulip farm, Kreukenhof Garden, and the boat ride. We caught the very end of the tulip season so there weren’t as many flowers left as we hoped, but otherwise it was a smooth and pleasant experience. The tulip farm was especially nice, as we had a chance to meet the owner and hear how tulips are grown and bulbs produced. Keukenhof Garden was very crowded and maybe not worth spending 3 hours there, but it was still quite beautiful. And the boat ride was great and relaxing. Overall a great day with some nice variety from the tour.Written 10 May 2024

- Z3168KLbonniek0 contributionsWaste of money and timeShame on trip advisor! First of all , they should not be booking these tours at this time of year, really no tulips to see. So why still booking tours to see them. After the farm the take you to the Keukenhof, there is no tour here. They dump you here for 4 hours! Really?, I could have walked the grounds in an hour. No reason that this tour should have been 9 hours. We had to go back to the bus and sit there for 2 1/2 hours to be taken back to AmsterdamWritten 9 May 2024

To start, the views were really nice, Amsterdam’s canals are beautiful. The captains assistant, Chris, was very nice. The issue my mom and I had were with the captain, who was very rude. First, he yelled at people on the boat to stay quiet while the automatic tour guide voice was on. Second, he crashed the boat onto another boat to prove a point to another boat captain. He was very rude and even said racists jokes about Chinese people. Terrible.

The actual cruise was beautiful and it was lovely to see the sites of Amsterdam on the canal. However, the captain was awful and ruined the experience for us all. He would not stop yelling and individually calling out passengers. At one point, he was apparently so frustrated with people talking that he refused to give commentary for the rest of the tour. This was extremely disappointing as we had paid to hear about the town. Specifically, he called out one of my friends and then made fun of her face. He absolutely ruined the energy and good vibes of our day and made multiple people cry. Do book a canal cruise, but DO NOT book this one! There are so many that Amsterdam offers, so find a different one to ensure no one leaves with tears!

They called and cancelled the day before and have not given me a refund. Very disappointing. I did not go on this trip and they have not replied to my email requesting a refund. I wouldn’t waste your time booking with them. Easier to just book on the day there. There are many canal trips.

It was a nice relaxing canal ride with a few lovely views of historic buildings. The captain and staff were extremely friendly and made sure to offer drink service. I heard that the 75 minute rides included trips out into the river rather than just canals, but this stuck to the canals unfortunately. However it is definitely worth the $14 that I paid. The only downside was that the speaker in the back of the boat where I was sitting was not working properly and I could not hear then the narration and so I still don't know the significance of those buildings or any other history. There are no waves at all so even for people who get seasick this is very safe. It was very smooth.

Overall, I thought this cruise was average. The captain & crew were friendly and boat was in good condition. I didn’t find the guide in English to be particularly informative. The captain offered additional anecdotes that were interesting but again nothing special.

Very knowledgeable guide with sense of humour. Very comfortable and nice to be able to buy a beverage on board. There was one family there with a toddler and I’m not sure it’s suitable for young children - the guide wasn’t very sympathetic when the child was loud and I felt sorry for the parents who did their best to distract the toddler. it was difficult as guests couldn’t hear the guide when the child was making noise.

The cruise was nice, family friendly, on time, and passed by many of the city monuments. The audio guide was informative and in several languages. The captain was welcoming. I preferred if the cruise was in an open boat but you do not know when it starts to rain in Amsterdam!

Nice boat and nice staff. Bit far from the centre of town however did drop us back at central station at the end. Definitely worth doing a canal cruise and worth considering this one bit allow some time to get to the other side of the harbour.

Very friendly crew. We were well looked after and the trip was interesting and informative. It was raining when wd went but we were warm and dry. Felt sorry for the boatrippers without a cabin. Highly recommend it.

Marco was wonderful. He has a spectacular knowledge of his craft. He was quite gracious with our questions and gave us an extensive tour of his production process. He went out of his way to make our trip memorable. Marco was very kind! Would highly recommend.
