      E-bike windmill day
We are seniors and I was worried it would be too much for me. It was my first and only time on an e-bike. Returning home, my husband asked, “what was the most memorable thing?” It was the day I thought I couldn’t handle. The e-bike tour. It was a fun filled day. As long as you have experience riding a bike, it is doable. The ride across on the ferry, the explanations, tour of the windmills was fantastic. Nick, our guide, was super knowledgeable and ensured we were all together. Next time in Amsterdam, I’m definitely spending another day biking past the windmills.

      Fun bike ride!
This was a fun tour and we had a great guide Corbin. Plenty of stops along the way to learn about the countryside and it’s history. Corbin. kept us all together, and I felt very safe riding a short distance through the streets of Amsterdam to get to a ferry. Then, after the ferry ride out into the countryside! It was a great day and thank you Corbin for your guidance.

      Best Activity in Amsterdam!
This was the most amazing activity we have done in Amsterdam. Our tour guide kept us safe and took us 25 miles through the most beautiful land I have ever seen. My 12 year old loved it. We also met great people on our tour and the bikes were very new and well maintained. We felt safe and had the BEST time. Would 100 percent recommend this activity.

great ebike tour or the countryside
this was a really lovely tour. the guide, gabriel, was friendly and knowledgeable. the ride out is through gorgeous countryside with stops on the way to learn about windmills and amsterdam history. zaanse schas was cute if obviously for tourists. i wouldn't have minded a few more minutes there to explore. we took a different route back to the city to see more sights. the whole thing was a breeze on ebikes.

      Best tour ever!!
Best tour I’ve ever taken…and I’ve done many throughout Europe!! Kendra…our guide was an American but us now Dutch. She was knowledgeable about the history of The Netherlands, the politics, economics of living here, real estate of Amsterdam and social environment. The bike ride was relaxed with the E-bikes and we stopped many times to talk about what we were seeing. Great pace. I highly recommend!!! Seeing a working windmill was the highlight of the day!

      Our favourite excursion!
You don't need to be super fit. You just need to enjoy the dutch countryside and take it easy for a few hours. Kendra was funny, informative and safe. So much better than riding in the city.

      What a great Day!
What a fabulous day cycling through beautiful countryside with a delightful, knowledgeable guide and nine other very pleasant companions. I don’t cycle frequently and was a bit apprehensive but the equipment was top notch, safety was important and the wonderful network of Netherlands cycling paths amazing. Can hardly wait to take another trip!

      History and Comedy Combined
Kendra, the trip leader, is very knowledgeable and engaging. She’s a major history nerd and also very funny. The relaxed visits to a few brew pubs were very pleasant. And it was a great way to learn the rules of the road in Amsterdam. I recommend this tour highly!

The absolute best bike tour to take!

      Great tour of the countryside!
Rachel, our guide, was a great and made the trip very enjoyable! Always keeping an eye out for the guests to make sure everyone was doing ok and very knowledgeable. Electric bikes are great way to go explore the countryside and was neat to see some of the towns outside the city. We got lucky with sunny weather to start but rained on the way back I think made it even more of a memorable trip.

      Amazing first time experience
We have a great time with Kendra. She took us all around many unseen places in Amsterdam. We had beer, cheese, sausages and many more goodies along the way. We learned various tidbits of facts about Amsterdam and the Netherlands that we didn’t know. The weather held up great for us and overall it was probably the best afternoon we we had on our trip. I would highly recommend this for a first timer to Amsterdam. It’s a very cool way to see the city and try new things! Thanks Kendra!

What a great bike trip! Small group (10) adults. The electric bikes are Top Notch!! Comfortable & easy to ride. Justin was our Bike Tour Guide & he was
fantastic! It’s a well run company too. He sized each bike for proper leg extension, he showed you individually how to operate the go & stop, braking, & hand signals. Each bike comes with a small rack for a SMALL backpack to Bungee securely. A helmet is offered (i wore one ‘Safety is No Accident’!). The ride is mostly flat through the pastures, canals, Windmills. It’s great to get out of the city & see the Nord side of Amsterdam! Come with water you be able to refill 2x. A stop for rest & food cafeteria style @ a cute village of multiple windmills. Bathroom Break! as well.
I’m female, on the petite side with some bike experience- 64 yrs young. I felt Safe, I felt well informed & Justin genuinely cares about your wellbeing
I highly recommend this bike tour!
    It was a great day!

What a tour. We had a brilliant guide called Kendra who was so helpful, flexible and accommodating. We had great weather so she allowed us to stop and pick up swim wear which is recommended if it’s a warm day as there are plenty of swim stop offs on this 50km tour! Kendra was very patient as I had not rode a bike in years let alone an electric bike. I got used to it in the end! She was very knowledgeable and we had a laugh along the way. Thank you for a great trip!

This was definitely a highlight of our three day experience in Amsterdam.

Despite some wet weather half way through the trip, our guide Justin managed this to the group’s satisfaction. Before we left, all riders were offered some rain jackets in the event the weather did turn, so we were all prepared.

The electric bikes appear to be quite new, well maintained and definitely made riding much easier to do the 40kms+ (approximately 5hrs) round trip.

Justin was an excellent guide, constantly checking in on the group and provided a few historical talks along the way.

We would highly recommend this experience.

My fiancé and I really enjoyed this bike tour! I would highly suggest it to anyone visiting Amsterdam. No one in our group was an experienced biker, not even close, and we all faired fine. The weather was slightly windy and rainy, but it was still enjoyable. They provide very nice ponchos, and also having a waterproof jacket, waterproof shoes, and waterproof gloves helped a lot. You’ll ride only a few blocks through the city to the ferry before you’re in the countryside. The e-bikes make the ride a breeze, so you won’t be killing your legs with the distance. Gabriel was a fantastic guide and made sure we were all comfortable. The multiple stops along the ride are awesome as he gives history lessons along the way. You only spend about 90 minutes in Zaanse Schans, including the time it takes to eat, so you will need to breeze through the little touristy village to see the cheese shops, mills, etc. The ride back to Amsterdam is shorter than the ride out, which is perfect because it was starting to feel long at that point. Overall the amount of time was perfect, and this tour was definitely a highlight of our trip.

This countryside bike tour was the highlight of our time in the Netherlands! The e-bikes made our "Dutch marathon" a pleasant excursion (and a nice break from all the walking we'd been doing). It was great to get out of the city, see the countryside and learn more about windmills and other aspects of Dutch culture. An unplanned visit with Marcel and his special goats at Twiskemolen was an extra treat.

Splendid day in excellent company. Our guide, Gabriel, was absolutely perfect, filled with historical knowledge and attentive to everyone. Very well suited for non-Dutch cyclists with all the necessary information to navigate the city and countryside. Easy going, friendly and professional. We highly recommend it for anyone who wants to escape the bustling life of Amsterdam and see another aspect of Holland. Would definitely go back with Amsterdames ! Thank you again Gabriel!

We had a wonderful day of bicycling in the open country side with wonderful weather and beautiful scenery. Our guide, David, was knowledgeable and personable and did a great job of educating the group on the e-bikes and how to deal with the pedestrian, bike and auto traffic when these were encountered. Seeing the old windmills up close and learning about them was fascinating. This was truly a highlight of our time in Amsterdam and would highly recommend to those interested in biking in the countryside.

Great way to break up a week otherwise filled with museums and city touring. The bikes are top notch. As an active (but not super fit) 67-year old, the distance with these electric bikes was NO problem. The strong winds that day presented some maneuvering challenges. Main thing is, you need to be a calm, competent rider. Really fun with knowledgeable and thoughtful guide. Recommend!

My wife and I did this while spending a few days in Amsterdam on the first leg of our honeymoon through Europe. Justin was a fantastic guide with impeccable knowledge of the areas we traveled. This bike tour gives a great variety of landscapes from countryside to the inner city. The stop you make for about 1.5hr on your own has several windmills and clog & cheese factories as well. It was an awesome experience. The ebikes are great, with very little force needed to pedal them along even on steep grades. Justin made sure everyone got a bike that fits them and ensured safety was a #1 priority. Couldn't recommend him enough.

Also, there are ponchos available in case of rain. Our tour had light rain, and unlike others, wasn't canceled. 10/10 experience.

First I have to say that Kendra always responded to any questions I had, and I felt very comfortable making planning the tour months in advance. The tour was very well organized, and nice with a group size of only 6. The day we went was part of the national wind mill weekend. Our tour guide (Dave) arranged for us to go for a tour through a working wind mill - amazing!!! I would recommend this to anyone. The eBikes make the ride a lot easier to complete and I could not even imagine doing it with just a regular bike.
