Romantic Waters

End your day of sightseeing with this intimate journey of discovery along the canals as the city winds down and reveals itself at its most alluring. This voyage is ideal for couples and will last for 90 min. looking for a more personal way to discover the city than is possible with standard group tours. You and your partner snuggled together. The sound of water lapping softly against the sides of the boat as we drift beneath Amsterdam’s iconic bridges and past its magnificent 17th-century canal houses.

What to Expect

Picture this: You and your significant other snuggled together. The sound of water lapping softly against the sides of the boat as we drift beneath Amsterdam’s iconic bridges and past its magnificent 17th-century canal houses. Against this picturesque backdrop, your guide introduces you and your small group of couples to the more intimate side of the city through stories that speak to the heart. They include tales of love and longing and little details about art, history and the architecture that make Amsterdam such an open-air museum. Your guide helpfully brings these stories and their connection with the city to life with a carefully chosen selection of music by local and international artists.

The heart opens more easily in silence, so your journey is happening on a quiet, solar-powered boat that’s perfectly sized for the more private canals that the larger tours cannot reach.

With the setting sun creating a magical shimmer as it glances off the rippling surface of the canals, your journey draws to a graceful end, leaving you and your partner set for cosy evening together.

Highlights of your journey include: finding out why you should kiss your significant other under the Magere Brug; sailing past a spot from a famous romantic film; passing beneath the bridge of love, famously captured for posterity by Claude Monet; and passing through some of the old centre’s even quieter, hidden canals.

I, your host and romantic guide, look forward to sharing this journey with you.

Amazing tour with lots of nice views, love stories, and nice Dutch delicacies. Cruising around the waters, listening to the nice music and hearing Rocco’s stories was a very nice combination. Would recommend it !

Another reviewer mentioned the same thing I’m concerned with. The boat is quite cozy. You sit around a table with glasses of wine and flowers and some snacks. So if your child is like many that age... they will want to... More
