Giethoorn is lovely picturesque, with his tiny canals. Our tour guide Richard was excellent, he was able to tell us about the province we drove through, how it was created. - Sebastian Jerom... C0 contributionsMuseums and CanalOur guide was very knowledgeable. Given that she has a Master degree in this field, she generously shared her perspective and the stories and background of Rembrandt and Van Gogh. After the 2 visits to the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum, I go away appreciating these 2 great artists!Written 9 November 2023
- Pbodman890 contributionsSuper toursWe did both the trip out to volendam, edam and zans schans, and the Anne Frank walking tour. We were lucky enough to have Derrick as our tour guide on both excursions, who delivered his information in a friendly, clear and concise way, giving us some fascinating insights into the Netherlands and it's history. He has one of those voices you could listen to for hours! We were wowed by his incredible language skills. Both tours were well organised, with a good balance of free time to enjoy the wonderful and interesting views. Highly recommend!Written 5 November 2023
- SonjaT4540 contributionsWorth a visitThis tour is one of the best. It’s authentically a Dutch tour and Zaanse Schans has many beautiful windmills, Dutch wooden houses, clog factory and cheese making areas. The tour guide was excellent and I took many photos of the pretty scenery.Written 23 October 2023
- terrencer6310 contributionsNot worth itNot a very interesting tour. None of the sights were really worth visiting. Better to find another tour.Written 18 October 2023
- TommH22880 contributionsQuick dash/see the 3 citiesDue to the size of the cities (Rotterdam, Delft & The Hague), it's hard to have "enough" time to walk around. The tour brings you all around the city in the bus with some photo stop and free time (not a lot). You should expect to re-visit the city if you really likes to explore further. This a great tour to see all 3 places in a short time (8-10 hours). Very nice tour guide, and tried to do their best to show you the most.Written 11 October 2023
- 485bhaskarc0 contributionsVisit three places in one day and get a gist of themVery informative and relaxed tour. Eric, our guide was very knowledged. Really learnt a lot about the three places. It was a good tour to go to these three places in one day.Written 1 October 2023

This was an incredible tour and was a nice change of scenery from Amsterdam which is more urban. Our guide Evelyn was very friendly and shared really interesting information about each place, and our driver Eric made the drive very comfortable. Seeing so many different things within one tour was amazing, and would absolutely recommend this to anyone visiting Amsterdam!

This was a very enjoyable and interesting day-out from Amsterdam. Our guide (Eva?) was excellent, giving us the benefit of her extensive knowledge. Even whilst travelling on the coach she gave us lots of information about the Dutch countryside. The different places we visited were all interesting, some more commercial than others, but there was no pressure to spend if you didn’t want to! I would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to explore outside Amsterdam👍

As two buses were scheduled the stops were very crowded. Young children were loud so hearing the tour guide was difficult. It was sad that adults would sit in front so the children could not see what was going on. Tour guide was not explicit on directions. For example, at one stop I asked how long we would be staying and was told u til6:30. He then moved part of the group to the next stop. He also walked very fast for an older person

Guide and driver were very courteous and knowledgeable. Great price for what you get. Cheese making demo lasts 10 mins and you are left to sample and buy. Fishing village interesting but nothing about fishing. So a little too much time to just walk around. Windmills are lovely but it cost to actually go inside.
Recommend for activity to grt you out od Amsterdam but maybe more scenic when tulips are in bloom
The info on dikes and water flow are nice but you need to be interested in thar stuff to appreciate it
Thanks for a nice tour

This was a great way to explore more of Holland and learn about the Dutch culture. The combination of bus and walking made it relaxing. Perfect for solo travelers or families. The clog museum and demonstration was a lot of fun, as was the cheese tasting.

Well organized tour. Comfortable and clean bus with a pleasant drive and the guide. In my opinion, the visits to cheese and clog stores are too long and can be shortened to have more time to walk and enjoy beautiful villages we visited.

The weather cooperated to shine sun upon us as we traveled through the Holland countryside. The guide ability to communicate in English, Spanish, and Dutch was impressive.
The tour was a little open we visited some areas as the town with the Dyke and Edam with great flexibility on where to go. Some of the participants felt a little lost as just where to go. The group was a little large for the guide to keep track of but over all everyone made it back to the bus in a timely manner.

Guide was excellent, very informative… I am Dutch and even as a local (I grew up in that part of Holland) - I learned a few new things. We were never rushed and always well looked after. It was a bit odd to see Gouda cheese being made in Edam, but that is what they did… and the cheese was nice!

The tour was terrible, the driver drove the bus over a construction site, stopped traffic in a maneuver. Upon arriving at the cheese factory, the bus broke down and we stayed for more than 1 hour waiting for the bus. Then we went to VOLENDAM where the bus left us and did not return to pick up the group. We were abandoned and the guide lost without knowing what to do. I don't recommend it to anyone. Bad company.

Highly recommend this tour to see the countryside outside of the Amsterdam city. It is a full day from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. You are given time at each stop to snack and shop. It is not intended to provide time for a full lunch but plenty of opportunities to get a quick bite to eat at 2 of the stops. Ingrid was a great tour guide. She kept the group moving and on time to ensure there was adequate time for all stops. She lives in Zaanse Schans and was able to give a personal tour of the area. Highly recommend the Dutch pancakes at this stop. Allow yourself plenty of time to get to the tour outside of Central Station if you are not familiar with the area. Google maps takes you around Central Station which is much longer than walking through it.

We are interested in this tour for 14 people (adults) on October 26, 2021. However, we can only start at 1 pm at the earliest. We will be staying at Apollo Hotel Amsterdam. Pick up & drop off from hotel would be best. Its not a problem, if the tour was cut short a bit . Please advise soonest.

I did not use a tour group! Easy to take the train from Amsterdam Central to Zaandam— 12 min direct, then a bus to windmills — another 10-15”
I love strolling through Zaandam a few blocks and then catching the bus, it’s a cute town
