Amazing views, the food was delicious & we even petted a cow along the way :) The guide is very friendly and keen to tell us about dutch history & culture. I have lived in the NL for 4 years now and would definitely recommend this - both for tourists or residents. There were even a couple of dutchies in the group and everyone really liked the tour!

The canoe trip was a highlight of our trip to the Netherlands! It was wonderful to see the beautiful countryside. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot. The picnic was delicious with a bounty of delicious local products. We highly recommend this tour to other travelers.

The experience was amazing!! Amazing host and love every second of it!!! I ended up being the only one on the sunset tour and it felt like a private tour where we chatted about the history of the wetlands and its something I'll remember forever 😊

Loved this canoe trip on a golden October day - 2 hours of blissfully quiet paddling through an amazing tranquil landscape filled with waterfowl, the occasional songbird and lots of vows and sheep. Our guide was so knowledgeable and we took enough breaks to rest the arms and learn more about the fascinating history of the Netherlands polders, water rights, ecology, and even some local apple cider and stroop waffles as a special treat. Can’t wait to be back next year when the five hour tour will be available again.

This was an amazing experience; our favorite night while in Amsterdam. Majel was very welcoming and knowledgeable of her village and the surrounding waterways. The picnic was delicious, fresh, local and healthy. Absolutely recommend this trip.

This was exactly what I was looking for. 2 hours in a canoe on the waterways of a small village just outside of Amsterdam. The host was lovely and the price was reasonable. There are no other tour providers in the area and the group is small. You truly feel like you get out of the city.

Awesome weather, pretty village houses, a ton of information about the area, dams, canals and it's connection with nature. Up close encounters with curious local cows and sheep (they came to sniff our boats when we were having a break). We saw many birds and some hares and learned how windmills help canals.

Very enjoyable trip to the countryside, away from the bustle of Amsterdam city. Peaceful canoe thru the wetlands and a very delicious picnic spread. Highly recommended

This tour was one of the best I’ve ever been on! Majel was a great tour guide. The tour was a relaxing, beautiful paddle though the Netherlands. We had a lovely picnic and spent time in a lovely country home.

What a brilliant time we had with Majel. It was like being showed round by a friend. It's a truly beautiful and very interesting area and the canoes were such good fun ( note to self...I definitely need some steering practice for canoes). It was also my friend's first ever trip in a canoe and she loved it. A highly recommended trip.

This paddle tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Amsterdam! Spending a couple hours watching wildlife and getting a better sense of water management in the Netherlands was an excellent experience, even on a chilly day in February. If you get a chance, take this tour! Majel is a great guide.

Loved this tour, it was the perfect complement to a couple of days in the city. Majel knows what’s she’s talking about and gave some good insights into Netherlands history and ecology as we went. We spotted a lot of birds and got great views from the canals. Even with the wind, the canoeing wasn’t too much hard work and still felt relaxing. Would recommend cycling there if you can, it’s flat (of course!) and added to the experience for me. Definitely make sure you have sunscreen!

It was an incredible experience with a lot of information given by the guide on the nature itself but also on the area. We highly recommend it, especially if you're a nature lover!

Fantastic experience, would highly recommend getting out of the centre of Amsterdam to see the wetlands with Majel. She is a wonderful host with drinks at her home before and after the experience and very knowledgeable about the area and the nature within. Lots of fun canoeing despite being a novice, beautiful scenery, picnic was amazing and sun was starting to set by time we got back.
