About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- jktrock0 contributionsAmazing!! And some tips for your visitFirst of all: breathtaking, amazing, stunning! And now, on to practical stuff: we bought combo tickets that included a bus ride from the parking, unlimited use of cable cars and 2 activities per person. We parked in the garage right where the bus picks you up and takes you to the Grindelwald First Cable Car station.). As you exit the parking structure, the bus will be on your right. Weather: we were there in August and on that specific day it was around 16C at the foot of the mountain and much colder on top. I mean, much colder! Hats/scarves and mittens much colder, especially if you are traveling with the kids. We were unfortunate with some bad weather during our visit, fog. Part of our rides on cable cars was covered with fog. The fog can clear as you go higher and then can come back again. Some activities WILL get delayed or CANCELLED altogether due to fog. We got really lucky to be the last ones to do First Glider and it shut down for the day after us due to fog. You will not get your $$ back, but you can do some other activities that will remain open (trott bikes and mountain carts). First Glider had over an hour wait. If we ever go back, I will not be buying tickets for activities beforehand, due to the fact that weather can alter your plans. You can actually pay for your activity as you are about to embark on one. There are pay machines right at the start of each activity (card only though). My family also did mountain carts which was a blast (another hour wait) and our kids did trott bikes down the mountains into the town. I didn’t do any activities which helped us split as I waited in lines why the rest of the family did the activities. We started walking on First Walk, it was raining and became very slippery. I didn’t realize how narrow that walk is, we ended up turning around as it didn’t seem safe at that point. All in all it was an absolutely amazing day, even with the bad weather. Our family had a blast!Written 17 November 2024
- 879eyalm0 contributionsA very nice town but very expensiveZermatt is very nice and it's fun to travel there in a great atmosphere. Everything is very very expensive. The signage is not good and it is quite difficult to find what you are looking for. We went up to the Matterhorn glacier paradise There was fog at the top and nothing could be seen.Written 26 October 2024
- V5338CUront0 contributionsAmazing Stanserhorn Cabrio Cable Car!!Great tour by Abraham!! Train to Stanz, then funicular to 714m elevation and then a spectacular ride through the clouds to the summit of Stanserhorn at 1900m in the new double-decker cable car!! Wonderful lunch in the revolving restaurant at the top!!Written 25 October 2024
- 421sw0 contributionsVery disappointingTour was a complete bust. Viator notified us 3 days prior to the trip that they were cancelling (as they hadn’t filled the trip to their financial satisfaction). We rebooked the complete train trips and gondola on our own (without the “guided” tour narrative) for $800 savings (vs their charge of $1400 for 2 people). While they did fully refund the $1400, I’d never recommend depending on this tour to anyone. Very disappointing.Written 29 September 2024
- Tourist647211646020 contributionsStunning ViewGood trip by the train, beautiful view. The top is gorgeous view, nice place and cold. The Matterhorn and mountains are white with snow. It's very good trip. Next time we will visit again.Written 25 September 2024
- jessicagV8644SH0 contributionsA Must See Swiss Alps ExperienceAmazing views, a must-do in the Swiss Alps. Beautiful scenery, fantastic service. Yes, it's slow moving but that is part of the experience. Order food in advance, guarantees you get what you want quickly.Written 24 September 2024
- William B0 contributionsViews for daysMichael met us at the designated point and was very friendly. He explained the itinerary and then we were off to a memorable adventure. He explained some of the history of Lucerne and the surrounding areas. We boarded the boat for a tour of the lake and disembarked at the terminus for Pilatus. The ride up the steepest tram was as amazing as the views it provided. Michael had a great knowledge of the mountains and explained which peaks we were looking at during each stop for photos. All in all a fantastic trip with a great guide.Written 20 September 2024
- Sconniegirlexplorer0 contributionsGrand adventure!AMAZING! The views were spectacular. We loved the different modes of transportation, the numerous hiking options, the fun activities such as the ropes course, gliders, etc...and plenty of bathrooms, food and water availability. We left at 9:40 and did not return until 5. It was a beautiful day that we will remember.Written 31 August 2024
- TravellingHitz0 contributionsPiz Gloria with friendsAmazing experience all around. Using public transportation is a great way to see Switzerland the way locals see it. Our guide was wonderful and provided excellent information both on this trip and advice for the rest of our stay. The views from the top of Schilthorn are exquisite!Written 26 August 2024
- luisc4000 contributionsReliable tourEven throw it was a long time Septc2023, I stillremenber this tour it was well organized very good tour guide, knowledgable, always on timeWritten 18 August 2024
- proshop130 contributionsExtremely disappointed …paid crazy amount to be on our ownThis tour was considerably overpriced. We could have done this completely on our own and learned more. Although our guide was nice, he did not provide much info at all except directions. Paying this outrageous amount to drop us in Murren was very disappointing. Murren is a nice town, however paying $275 pp to be on our own was a complete rip off. I do not recommend this tour at all!Written 26 July 2024
- 920jenenet0 contributionsscenic train rideDue to devastating Floods and landslides we could only get as far as Brig. Travelled first class. Seats comfortable and lunch was included, Chicken curry and Marzipan Tart.Written 17 July 2024
- 459martinl0 contributionsAround InterlakenInterlaken is a crowded tourist town. For a much better experience, jump on buses and go round the two lakes which give the place its name. Don't miss Thun and its castle - great town and the castle is wonderful, great exhibition.Written 15 July 2024
- DLBVT0 contributionsGreat stop at a beautiful spotWe enjoyed the ride on the funicular, there is a cool tunnel on the route and even more so the view at the top. We had a lovely lunch at the top as well.Written 13 July 2024

What an excellent tour! Our guide, Abraham was exceptional. We would not have been able to accomplish the day’s schedule without him; we switched trains multiple times each direction with limited transition time. Abraham was knowledgeable, interesting, and a delight to speak with. He provided context about all the different legs of the trip, the scenery and villages we passed through. His background and experiences contributed to our understanding of the region. Thank you Abraham for a fantastic excursion!!
