      Jungfraujoch tour
My wife and I went on two tours in January 2025: Jungfroujoch and Rhine Falls. Both tours were excellently led by Bruno and Monica, respectively. The tours were well organised and allowed us to visit these amazing areas with no stress or hassle. The tour guides were informative and provided great commentary on all aspects of the areas we saw, as well as general Swiss life. We highly recommend booking either of these tours!

Services to mislead customers knowing the weather impacts their services
This is a business that is false advertising online and over the counter. They are purposely selling services to mislead customers knowing the weather impacts their services with a rehearsed statement when customers complain. We arrived at the counter of Grindelwald-First - Top of Adventure to purchase two tickets for the Adventure pack (unlimited gondola rides + 2 activities). Only to be told told their website is not up to date and this can no longer be purchased anymore. Furthmore, the activities are now sold separately at each of the stops and only 'they' (assuming the providers) know their availability when you get there. To add more insult, the Mountain Carts and Trottibikes are now sold as 'summer' activities and no longer available in the winter. However, on their website it clearly states this as being winter and summer activies with date periods provided. I then mentioned we would only be seeing the First Cliff Walk presented by Tissot for the view, due to the lack of activities available to be told "that's fine and you will need a return ticket" We purchased two adults tickets £114 for the gondola ride. We were told First Cliff Walk presented by Tissot was 'free' to see. We got on to the gondola for it to be surrounded by clouds and frost on the exterior of the glass, unable to see any of the panoramic views. We then arrived at the final stop (First) to see the First Cliff Walk presented by Tissot for its views. We were incredibly disappointed as the view was hidden in a white cloud/mist, where we were unable to see anything at an arms length. We then returned back to the counter, mentioned we were unhappy and provided pictures and videos as evidence. We mentioned we would like to return tomorrow (exchange) or if it's possible to be provided with a refund. We were given a rehearsed statement by two seperate individuals both saying "it's non-refundable, as we provide tickets to only the gondolas and we fulfilled those services". However, I explained that I purchased the tickets to see the view and mentioned this to the sales advisor as the counter before purchasing tickets for the First Walk. I also stated that these tickets should not have been sold to customers as its unfair, knowing you are aware the weather/cloud impacts the view. I was told "it is not our obligation to tell customers, and to view cameras online before purchasing" or looking at their tiny LCD in the counter office in the corner. They were incredibly unhelpful and I was told there is nothing they could do. This is a business that is false advertising online and over the counter. They are purposely selling services to mislead customers knowing the weather impacts their services with a rehearsed statement when customers complain. The Swiss Commission for Fairness needs to take a stand to support tourism and prevent companies like this from misleading tourists.

      Fun Five Hour Zürich Tour
The city tour of Zurich included a short bus ride around the city to some great view points, a fun walking tour, boat ride and delicious tour of the Lindt Chocolate Factory. Five hours was enough to see everything and our tour guide, Sarinne, had gone to university in Zurich and knew the city well. Informative and fun.

Excellent experience, we took the late tour and it was Worth every penny.
Excellent tour would highly recommend this company for any tour in Switzerland. The buses are clean, the service is extremely professional. We didn't book online and bought tickets at the Zurich central station however I would recommend making a reservation they do get fully booked rather fast.

      Leave early
If you go here be sure to make lift reservations or you will be waiting two to three hours if you take the boat, which is a great boat ride, the reason for the 3 stars because of the wait not know until you get there. Then you have a very short time to get to the top then go to the next level down for more adventure things. The view from the top is awesome. Coming back and having to go back to Montruex you take the gondola down the mountain and walk about 1/2 mile to the bus. It is not very well marked to get to the bus stop. The bus you get on in the afternoon is very crowded. Not happy with the bus ride either, thus 3 stars. You must be on the first boat.

One of the coolest things I have ever done
This excursion blew our minds! The views are impeccable. We are both scared of heights but still had a blast riding the 40 min lift up and down the mountain. So exciting being so high up. Don't miss the delicious restaurant - order the Kaizer Wiener. Sadly due to bad weather - the bridge was closed but we still got to go outside and look. Recommend dressing in layers and bringing hand warmers! We got our tickets on the Get Your Guide app.

      An exhilarating experience!
The excursion to Mt Titlis was outstanding from start to finish. Our tour guide, Dario was very knowledgeable & explained how to navigate the tour on our ride up to Mt Titlis from Lucerne. The day that we visited was very windy so the chair lift was closed for safety purposes. Dario made sure we were able to maximize our experience. If you’re on the fence about this tour, stop contemplating it & BOOK THE TOUR! We had an amazing time.

Not good in cold and rainy weather.
Unfortunately it rained the entire time we were in the bus and near the falls. We couldn’t see outside. All in good humor. We found a pub and a lovely wine tasting to get out of the cold rain. Recommend not spending the time on the bus in cold and poor weather.

      Great bang for your buck
Great opportunity to see Mt Titlis and participate in a few activities. Our tour guides were great (Maeve and Rolf), pickup was seamless. The coach was comfortable. The ride was roughly 45 minutes. Yhe tour company takes care of everything. One thing to note, you really can’t do all of the activities in the time allotted. So you will have to prioritize what you want to do we did the suspension bridge and ice flyer, but opted to eat instead of snow tubing. Sure, you can book all of this on your own and likely have more time but this was perfect. I would recommend if you want to get some snow time in without the hassle of research.

      New year's vacation in Zurich
Guill is a seasoned tour guide with abundant knowledge about the city, introducing landmarks during the coach ride. He is also very helpful in questions unrelated to the tour like times for new years celebrations in the city. We booked this tour for the later part of the vacation, and I recommend to book it for the start of the vacation if you are new to the region.

Mixed experience on Lucerne day trip from Zurich
The experience did not start well with the Best of Switzerland staff in Zurich. There was meant to be three of us travelling, but one had to cancel at the last moment. When I presented the 3 tour confirmations at the counter, the staff member could obviously see there was only 2 of us standing in front of her. I went to explain that the third person cancelled, but she just ignored me and started taking my photograph. I thought she may not have heard and so I said only 2 of us would be traveling. She just laughed and I found her to be very dismissive. Did she not care as the person had pre-paid? Their list of passengers was not going to correlate with the number of people onboard. Fortunately, once the tour began with our wonderful guid Giada, our perception of the Best of Switzerland tours improved. Giada was very knowledgeable and helpful with the information she provided. The downside however being both an English and Spanish tour was that the commentary was never ending. We just wanted to enjoy the beautiful Swiss landscapes, but we had to endure endless talking and half of it we could not understand. Of course this does not reflect on Giada, but the Best of Switzerland tours need to instruct their staff to allow the passengers some peaceful time to relax. Lucerne itself was fantastic, and we were blessed with a sunny day. We went up to Château Gütsch. Do yourself a favour and visit for amazing views over Lucerne and have a drink at the bar. You will not be disappointed.

A must-do trip. Departed in the morning from a bus parking area near Zurich HB. The tour was led by an English speaking and a Mandarin-speaking guide. Both Mingmin and Olivia were great, helpful and outgoing. They provided great commentary en route to Jungfraujoch, The coach stopped in Luzern and Interlaken to pick up some more passengers. The weather was epic on the day and the scenery along the way just could not be any better. On the top of the mountain, there were some choices for lunch, but always useful to prepare some snacks and water as this is very high altitude. The tour was really relaxed, which is the right way to travel. Absolutely would bring my family to do it again.

This tour was amazing, the guides were fantastic Carola (English) & Dan (Chinese) kept us informed throughout the whole trip including the drive from Zurich to Interlaken. They accompanied us throughout and very dotted around to always point us the right way to not miss anything. The itinerary did vary due to maintenance on some railway but it was not a part of the trip I was too bothered about so ok - please bear that in mind worth checking before. I did get altitude sickness after 2 hours at Jungfraujoch but there is a cafe where I could get something to drink and sit down for a little. The whole experience at Jungfraujoch was not at all rushed and I did the tour twice. The coach was nice and clean and comfortable. No eating or hot drinks on the bus, bus driver was strict. With the amount of time spent in the bus it would have been ideal to be able to eat cold food at least. On the specific bus I had there was also no charging points so I would recommend to take a portable charger. I wore thermals under my clothes with hat and gloves but actually it was not as cold as I thought, I had a good coat and that probably would have done ok as most is spent inside where it is warmer and the outside was only around -5C. You don’t need boots or anything for snow, I wore trainers and that was fine as at the viewing points the snow is so compacted it does not get on your feet. You can leave items on the bus and I would recommend as it would reserve your seat as you tour Interlaken more people join on the bus and there were some people disputing if the seats were already taken. Would highly recommend going to the panoramic cafe at the top of the tall hotel in Interlaken, great views and was nearly empty so got served very quickly.

My family and I decided to come to Switzerland for the first time ever and this tour was just amazing. Our tour guide was very helpful and she even spoke to us in Spanish (since my mom and my dad are hispanics and only understand Spanish). It was very lovely, the organization and how everything was handle was delightful. I fully recommend it 100% if you ever want to experience the alps region.

The scenery was great and it was such an experience to be that high up in the mountains. The train rides were really good. However, it is a very long day and could be improved if the company would allow eating and drinking on the bus as many people had not had time for breakfast as it was such an early start and had brought snacks. When we did stop for coffee, much time was spent looking for a place to have coffee, so by the time we found somewhere, it was nearly time to get back on the bus. The guide could have been much more proactive in telling people where they could go for coffee and it would have been better if the bus could have dropped us there. All in all, a good day but room for improvement to make the experience better for tourists.

Dear Sue321, Thank you very much for sharing your experience of your trip to Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful scenery and would like to go into the criticized points in more detail. With a total duration of 12 hours, our day tour to Jungfraujoch is our longest day trip from Zürich. For guests that do not want to get up early for breakfast, our stopover in Interlaken offers a break from the 2-hour journey from Zürich already behind them and the perfect opportunity to have a late breakfast, to do some shopping or to go sightseeing before proceeding. As the bus stops in the middle of the city centre, various cafés are easy to reach within walking distance. Many of our guests highly appreciate the cleanliness of our buses, which can only be guaranteed by following certain rules of conduct. While we can totally understand your wish to eat and drink on the bus, we believe that it is also a question of consideration for other guests who do not necessarily share your pleasure in coffee and food scents. We hope that you were able to enjoy a wonderful stay in Switzerland and look forward to welcoming you back on our tours on your next trip to Zürich. Best regards, Best of Switzerland Tours

This tour had great views, but that’s just the beauty of Switzerland! I will say that the tour itself was mediocre and not worth almost 300USD. It’s a full day tour and you’re expected to not eat or drink on the bus. You’re given about an hour in Interlaken to eat a snack but that isn’t enough time to get food and then tour around the city. The cable car from Grindelwald and seeing Jungfraujoch was amazing! It’s definitely do-able by yourself and not go through this tour.

Dear mahalways, Thank you very much for participating in our day tour to Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe from Zürich. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the Bernese Oberland and the Jungfraujoch in particular. With a total duration of 12 hours, our tour to Jungfraujoch is our longest day trip from Zürich. Many of our guests highly appreciate the cleanliness of our buses, which can only be guaranteed by following certain rules of conduct. While we can totally understand your wish to eat and drink on the bus, we believe that it is also a question of consideration for other guests who might not be equally fond of coffee or food scents on the bus. However, our stopover in Interlaken offers our guest a break from the 2-hour journey from Zürich already behind them and the perfect opportunity to grab a snack, to do some shopping or to go sightseeing before proceeding. On top of Jungfraujoch, there are also various restaurants as well as a snack bar available for lunch. We regret to hear that you felt that the tour was not worth your money. While it is certainly possible to visit Jungfraujoch individually by public transport, you would have to change trains no fewer than 9 times (Zürich – Jungfraujoch – Zürich) and would not benefit from the special group rates we offer (total price without Swiss pass: approx. CHF 350.-). Also, having a tour guide with you, who serves as a direct contact person in case of any occurring questions, is a reason why many people opt for a guided tour instead of an individual visit. We hope that you enjoyed a wonderful stay in Switzerland and look forward to welcoming you back on our tour on your next trip to Zürich. Best regards, Best of Switzerland Tours

I visited Switzerland in November of this year. I had booked the Grindlewald and Interlaken tour with them.
My guide for the day was Lars. So this bus was actually going to Jungfrau, however you get around an hour's stay at Interlaken
following this they drop you at gridelwald, where you explore grindlewald on your own and catch a train back to Interlaken
where you wait for your bus while the rest of the group leave for Jungfrau. So the group is spit in two at grindelwald.
However, for me the tour was a partially guided tour as you get around an hour at Interlaken with your guide.
Now when we reached Interlaken our guide lars told us you have around 40 mins, please be here after 40 mins. However he
did not tell us where to go and what to do for 40 minutes. There was a girl and myself who asked lars what to do in this 40 minutes,
lars just told us you can walk by the lake and explore the town. However, as we got slightly lost we missed the bus and we had to take a train to Grindlewald.
Now the day before, I went on the mount titlus tour with Anette on the way to titlus we stopped at Lucerne where the guide told us let me take you to the bridge
so we just followed the guide, after this she told us the way to the church. Also, before this I went to the rein falls tour where Peter my guide
took us to stein um rhein, where he told us I am walking through the town and you can follow me. However, Lars did not do any such thing, so if people are
getting lost under his watch then he is not a good guide. lars I feel need some training. Lars ruined my holiday mood. We are not paying lars to just stand there.
We are paying lars to walk us through Interlaken.

Dear Kushal, Thank you very much for joining our tour to Grindelwald & Interlaken and for sharing such an extensive account of your experience with us! As Interlaken is conveniently located along the journey, we offer our guests a break from the 2 ½-hour coach trip from Zurich already behind them. While there is no guided walking tour of Interlaken, the 40 minutes break gives our guests the chance to stretch their legs, enjoy a late breakfast, do some souvenir shopping, or go sightseeing before proceeding to Grindelwald. Unfortunately, we are confronted with delays daily, which is why all our tour guides are instructed to wait for a maximum of 5 minutes at each meeting point. On your travel date, we had 50+ guests that made it back to the bus in time and by holding the bus for longer, we would have risked missing the train we were scheduled for. All guests are provided with an emergency number on their voucher, so they can contact us in case they are running late. Unfortunately, we had only received your call a while after the bus had departed and we mutually agreed that you would buy a train ticket to and from Grindelwald. A partial refund was initiated the very same day through your travel agency GetYourGuide. According to the tour description on GetYourGuide, the tour is partly guided and accompanied from Zurich to Grindelwald and from Interlaken back to Zurich. For the individual stay in Grindelwald and the train ride back to Interlaken, a booklet is provided which contains comprehensive written information about the itinerary of the day, upgrade options, and recommendations of things to do. Compared to our fully guided tours, this tour is catered to more independent travelers that enjoy exploring new destinations with activities of their individual choice. We are sorry to hear that this incident has ruined your holiday, but we believe we have done the best we could to find a solution to help you make the most of your day. We hope that you will keep the other two days on tour with us in best memory and look forward to welcoming you back on tour during your next stay in Switzerland! Best regards, Your Best of Switzerland Tours Team

A stop in Interlaken and a beautiful bus ride through a few cantons followed by an exciting trip up the mountain. The weather on the mountain was snowy and blustery so no stunning views from the top, but it was great to be in the Alps on our first trip to Switzerland. One aspect that I didn't realize would be a factor was the altitude caused us to feel unwell (our first experience with altitude sickness!). A couple of people in the tour group got physically sick, but we were able to enjoy our experience despite feeling tired, headache, shortness of breath. As soon as you travel back down to the ski areas you almost immediately feel better so it doesn't last long. You are mostly underground in a complex built into the mountain and it was fairly crowded in late December after Christmas. A highlight was walking under the glacier!

I must say this was well worth the price.
The guide was incredible, switched between languages like I dont know what and was very knowledgeable. We felt quite mountain sick but the guide assured us we were ok as he was himself quite sick each time. This is a once in a lifetime tour. Well organised and we are thrilled with it. Many thanks to you Best of Swiss.

Time for a short stroll in Interlaken before proceeding through Grindelwald to the base of the Alps and viewing the north face of Mt. Eiger. The views of the valley, the surrounding countryside, and Mt. Eiger during the cable ride to Eiderplatz were amazing. The cog rail ride to Jungfraujoch was mostly inside the mountain. The magnificent views from The Sphinx atop Jungfraujoch more than made up for the lack of views during the cog rail tide. The Ice Palace was very cool—figuratively and literally. We were treated to more sensational views of the mountains and valleys as we rode down the mountain to Lauterbrunnen to reboard our bus back to Zurich. Rebecca was knowledgeable about the sights along the way and the mountains. An experience not to be missed!

Fantastic day trip up to Jungfraujoch, we departed from Zurich with 2 guides, Eduardo and Su, very interactive, friendly and knowledgeable on the journey to the top.

Check the weather ahead of time as not all attractions at the top are open depending on conditions, still great inside though.

Remember to open up any pressurised food and drink, it could get messy!

We departed Zurich at 8am and arrived back 8:10PM.
